“You get what you pay for”
I chose this hotel as it was close and cheap… that is it. Room: room size is okay for one person, but on the smaller size. The bed is like sleeping on a board - the floor may be better. I asked for a topper when I checked in and they added a thin comforter to the top. It was generally clean with minimal furniture. Bathroom: located off the balcony there is a sink (outside on the balcony) and the. Another room with toilet and shower. The water was hot, but low pressure. There was and continues to be some ants in the corners. The light sort of just hangs without a fixture and cleanliness was okay, but could use a deep clean. TV/Internet: the TV is a classic, early 90s model with a tube. The picture was okay, a few English channels, bit no HDMI port if you plan to use. Firestick or other device. The internet was okay, moderate speed and just a few issues along the way. Location: I did like the location. There were many food vendors just outside as well as a couple of convenience stores. There was a nice laundromat next door with awesome wifi. Big C is not far away as well as a couple of malls. Facilities: budget hotel with all the basics. There is a lot of scooter parking; not sure about car parking. There are washers in the front, the laundromat next door is better. There is an elevator, but you will have to walk up or down two sets of about 7 stairs to use it, it is in the middle of the floors in the stairwell. There is some construction going on in the hotel. Noise not so much an issue; a lot of dust in halls. The noise from the street is minimal. However, there is a lot of noise in the halls starting around 8. The hotel was cheap to book, less than 400 Baht a night. That said, i am headed to another hotel for the next week. The bed is horrible and a deal breaker for sure.
