Just returned to Pattaya from Hua Hin stayed at City Beach for four days., a good place to stay clean and comfortable room, staff were polite and helpful for all your requirements. Smack in the middle of the city with restaurants and bars all around rail station 5 minutes away and the night market also just around the corner. would definitly stay here again

Phillip's City Beach Review”

The City Beach is well located in Hua Hin and within just a few minutes walk to shops, money exchange/ATM, bars and restuarants. Tuk tuk to Tesco Lotus mall is only 100 baht. The hotel staff were very friendly, courteous and extremely helpful at all times especially for my golf booking arrangements. I've stayed at the City Beach twice now and would be happy to go again if visiting Hua Hin. Luggage trolleys are noticeably noisy if you're sitting outside the foyer enjoying a drink. They've solid rubber tyres and the ramp is very steep, so the porters have a few problems I imagine. If you're in a wheelchair you'll need a bit of help with this for sure. Room furniture, bathroom fittings and decor are OK but on the verge of requiring refurbishment soon,(signs of wear and old repairs showing in places). Laundry in the hotel was expensive. We found a laundry at a fraction of their prices just a few minutes walk away and used that for the month we were there.

Centre of town ”

The staff on arrival were particularly welcoming and extremely helpful. Having a one year old son appeared to be the highlight of their day! The rooms have recently been refurbished and for the length of our stay, 4 nights, the deluxe room was large enough for three and the room amenities functioned properly. The location of the hotel, in the centre of Hua Hin, is convenient for shopping, restaurants and the beach. I would recommend this hotel as good value for money.

Relaxed, Well looked after, very pleasant break ”

This was an enjoyable stay at the City Beach for me and my husband. The hotel fronts on Damnoenkasem Road which is both a high street and also loops down to the beach. The adjacent street is full of restaurants with many national cuisines, Swiss, Swedish and so forth. The staff were always helpful, gave good tips about Hua Hin , they were willing to serve coffee in the lobby after hours. The breakfast buffet has assisted by waitresses looking after the guests topping up the juice and coffee. The room had a good bed, a study area with desk was was useful as my husbancd was doing some writing. and a balcony where it was pleasnat to have drinks at sunset.

City Centre comfort”

This hotel is remarkably good value, considering its location, right in the middle of Hua Hin. The two most popular streets in HH are right there. Lots of stores nearby, including an excellent English language bookshop. Only minutes from the beach. Food at breakfast was very good and plentiful. Plenty of space. Close to Macdonald's (not usually a plus!, but handy for free wifi in the little arcade outside Macdonald's).

Great Hotel in the ideal spot. This is a very well centrally located spot in beautiful Hua Hin. It is close too the beach a whole 200 metres walk , close to all the action and yet quiet enough not too hear anything ( or maybe that was all the cold beers i drank ) . It is a good clean hotel and the staff are friendly and helpful, the building externally could do with a good lick of paint, and some of the furniture could be updated but it is all cosmetic.

Great location”

Located just a short walk to the beach and tourist area for bars and restaurants yet in a quiet Soi. The Hotel was clean and tidy, There were no kettle or cups in the room , but reception provided them when asked. There was no security safe provided in the room either. We Paid 1100 Baht per Room per night and this was great VFM for Hua Hin in this area.

Prefect location - v good value”

Hua Hin is quite linear in layout - I found this location perfect for my 3 nights, 5 minute walk to beach and great seafood restaurants along it, some over the water, walking steet and massage shops close by as is the tourist info centre. I arrived by train and the station is 5 minute walk from hotel. Would definitely stay here again. Good swimming pool, strong wifi and many tv channels.

Value for Money”

Kjempefint hotel til en fantastisk rimelig pris. Syntes betjeningen var kjempe hyggelige. Skjønner ikke hvorfor noen klager på frokosten. Egg i alle former, bacon, pannekaker, Thai mat og syltetøy. Varierte hver dag. Fikk omelett laget etter eget ønske. Eneste som manglet var ost, men det fikk vi heller ikke på et 5 stjernes hotel i Bankok. Anbefaler dette hotellet og vil helt sikkert reise hit igjen hvis vi skal tilbake til Hua Hin.

Holiday in Hua hin ”

We had three days at City Beach Resort and enjoyed our time there. It is in a great location for Hua Hin, about 150 metres from the good main beach there. It is next too the restaurant and bar strips, so having meals is easy. The staff overall were very helpful and friendly and the rooms are very clean. The breakfast is average, but overall we enjoyed our stay there and will definitely stay at this hotel on our next visit. There is also good secure parking for your car.

Reasonable hotel in the town centre”

Though we live in Hua Hin we stay here regularly if we're attending an event, this time it was the local Jazz Festival on the beach. The hotel is large, as are the rooms, and whilst it's comfortable the rooms are very tired, with wallpaper peeling off the walls. As we booked at the last moment we booked via Agoda and paid on arrival, I was a little concerned that after my card had been processed and payment authorised, the lady on reception copied my card details onto a peice of paper, I thought the numbers were blocked out for a reason, the security of the account, she was interested in my concerns. Check-out, as always is painfully slow whilst you have to wait whilst they get someone to check your room. The hotel is ok for the odd night, but probably not for an extended stay, though we would certainly stay there again.

quiet,relaxing low key”

I have stayed in the city beach resort before,it is a very reasonable priced hotel located 5 minutes from beach, bars, restaurants only minutes away, its very clean, staff are so welcoming and helpful breakfast is ok, nothing special, but no complaints, nice pool ,not big, good for a swim big shopping centre is only 5 minutes away in tuk tuk night market and some good restaurants only 10 minutes walk away. u can get some good bargains in the market, taxi,s and tuk tuks located right outside hotel for short trips and day long trips, the hotel is located in a quiet area I would always come back and stay in the city beach resort

Nice hotel well located in Hua Hin ”

City Beach is not located very close to the beach, but it nicely located in the city and very convenient for walking and getting around Hua Hin ! The hotel has a nice roof top pool on the 2nd floor ! It is a bit difficult to find at first, but worth search ! It is a good value with a clean, pleasant room and a good breakfast included.

Great location, great staff!”

The City Beach Resort is my hotel of choice when visiting Hua Hin. It is centrally located and easy to get to from the train station or when traveling by van. However, during this stay, there was no wi-fi in the rooms because is a problem with the internet provider.

Exceptional”

Great resort in the heart of Hua Hin. Many restaurants and cafés suround this resort. A couple of minutes walk and you're at the beach. Nice swimming pool to relax in at the end of the day. Would stay here again

Great Location and nice hotel”

i stayed in this hotel only one night but i could see the staff of this hotel is very friendly. this hotel is quite old but it is still nice. the room is large enough. breakfast is standard, not too good but not bad. the main advantage of this hotel is its great location. it is close to beach, close to night market, located in the center of city. it is easy to go everywhere. if i go to hua hin again, for sure, i will stay in this hotel again.

very good hotel and excellant value for money although the breakfast was the only downside really for a hotel this size it could have been better but overall its location was very good and close to Hua Hin night market and the night life.would certainly stay here again

All over good hotel ”

This is was our second stay in thst hotel. Big, very good furnished room. Close to the Hua Hin beach. We stay 11 days,so we can say breakfest can be better . But still os OK. Romm ws cleaned every day and ower alll hotel ' service is good . Recommended for family stay.

nice hotel”

this is my second time to stay in this hotel. I like this hotel because of its great location. it is close to beach, hua hin night market, shopping center, so many restaurant is located around the hotel. If I come to hua hin again, I will stay in this hotel. Nice staff with smile, breakfast is good.
