“Spacious but uncomfortable stay due to noise and layout issues”
The room I was assigned didn’t feel like a typical motel room. While other guests seemed to use a standard key, I had to enter two separate passcodes through two doors just to get into my room, which was a bit confusing. The room itself was quite spacious, but there were some inconvenient details. There was no desk, no hand soap provided, and no power outlet near the mirror, which makes it really inconvenient if you need to use something like a curling iron. The heated towel rack was also not working. WiFi was not very reliable either — even scrolling social media felt laggy at times. The biggest issue, though, was the door hidden behind the wardrobe (see photo). I couldn’t open it from my side, but it clearly connects to another space. Early in the morning (around 7am), I could hear dishes and noises from the other side, and at times it sounded like someone was trying to open the door or that it was shaking. It might have been wind, but it was honestly quite unsettling and made it hard to sleep comfortably. Overall, while the room looked decent at first glance, the noise and layout issues really affected the experience.
