Cosy and Strategic”

The hotel is at the city and close to the first shopping mall in Krabi which is call Vouge. The infamous Krabi Night Market is just behind the hotel and it is a walking distance. There are also local market just in front of the hotel where you can buy local street delicacies such as the nutella pancake, fruit smoothies, local fruits that are fresh and sweet. There are also halal food sell at the market. In the morning, there is a halal breakfast opened in front of the market. Moreover, halal restaurant is available too at the shop lots in front of the hotel. The only downside was, I was a given a room with a broken shower head but nonetheless, everything else is super convenient and wonderful. p/s: There are taxis, tuk tuk's available all time in front of the hotel to take you to your destination. So, airport transfer is a no problem.

Brilliant Hotel in the heart of Krabi Town”

The City Hotel has everything, it has recently renovated rooms that are lovely. The hotel itself is right in the middle of Krabi town, next door there is a 7/11 so you can get any things you might need and put them in your fridge. Vogue shopping centre is right behind the hotel, May and Marks restaurant (one of the best in town) is opposite and the night market is right there. The river is at the end of the street, where you can take long tail boat trips or just have a pleasant walk along to Thara Park. Really Pleasant place to stay.

Good hotel in the center of Krabi”

When we come to Krabi, we always stay at the City Hotel, in the new part. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is free WiFi and large safety deposit boxes for 30 Bath for all your stay. The market is just in front of the hotel. The sungthaews for Aonang or the bus station stop near the hotel. We reccommend this hotel to anyone who wants a quiet, clean and comfortable hotel in Krabi.

Best location in Krabi”

If you want to stay in Krabi town then this is the place. I have stayed here since before the airport was built, over 15 years. The pictures on Agodas website show exactly what you get. It is good value and clean. I stay in the new wing. Beds are firm. Reasonable choice of English TV including Universal, Syfy and ABC Australia. Over the road is the market where you can get some great Thai food and fresh tropical fruit. Next door is 7-11. Less than a hundred metres takes you to the riverbank promenade where at low tide you can watch the fiddler crabs and mudskippers. A short walk to the nightmarket or songthaews to Aonang/Nopparat. Behind the hotel is a market which runs Fri/Sat/Sun with food, clothes, gifts. Runs Dec-Feb and probably other months. Didn't eat here.

Great place in krabi town ”

In the middle of Krabi town, surrounded by markets and good restaurants, you’ll never go hungry day or night. The family room is huge, shower one of the best we have experienced in Thailand, lots of pressure and hot water. The hotel and room was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Close to the river, walking street and other food markets, wish we’d stayed longer than one night on our way to the airport from railay.

Hotel is located just by the night market, in the center of Krabi Town. There's plenty of places to eat next to the hotel. There's also 7/11 just next door. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room is modern and very clean. Two bottles of water were waiting for us. AC is very efficient. Hotel's stuff arranged a private taxi to the airport for the early flight for us for 350 THB. Totally recommend :)

Very convenient location, great value.”

We always stay at the City Hotel when we come through Krabi every year. Their are 2 choices... new wing or old wing. Haven't stayed in the old wing for years. Nice simple rooms, clean, showers (not tubs) free wifi, cable and a fridge. The location is directly across from the market, a great place to have your choice of fresh hot foods and mountains of exotic fresh tropical fruit. it's also just around the corner The Vogue, a pseudo department store. We'll be back.

Nice place to stay”

Nice hotel to stay in krabi town.. Besides of 7eleven..very near of krabi night market and mall.. Can check in early.. Room is clean everyday. Staff also helpful. No need to worries of airport transfer due outside of hotel a lot of taxi waiting. Will stay again next time.

Great place”

Value for money. Location is amazing. Right in front is a market that opens in the afternoon till night, selling fruits, juices, food. Behind the hotel is the weekend night market. 7eleven just downstairs. Room was spacious. Bed was huge. The only english channel on TV was news. Water pressure was good. Overall a very good place when staying in Krabi town.

Facilities needs to be improves”

Pros The location is at the center of the city and it is walking distance to the krabi walking street, krabi city night market, and the statue of the black crab. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Cons As i have checked in agoda stating that the hotel do provide iron facilities. However, when we arrived at the hotel and check-in, i was searching for the iron and there is no iron. I called the reception whether do they have iron, sadly they do not have iron. The flush was not functioning well and the toilet door is hard to close at times. Hence these should be fixated.

excellent hotel with perhaps best location in krabi...night market fri/sat/sun right next door....fruit market next door other side....7 / 11 next door....river and additional night markets five min walk....vogue shopping mall five min walk....ask for room on top/fifth floor overlooking weekend night market....nice clean room good a/c and tv with five or so english channels....small frig and hotpot...good shower plenty hot water...all at bargain price....

Everything just perfectly fine”

The hotel is located at the heart of Krabi city which is quite convenient for traveler. 7-Eleven is right next to it, fruit market , and walking street night market and bars and restaurant. The hotel room is new and clean. Hotel Parking lot is limited. It would be nice if the hotel lobby with air conditional in daytime.

Perfect location ”

This place is just in the middle of the Zone. The fruit market in front, 7-11 beside, Night market at the back called Walking street night market. Just walk one block up there are hilux bus to go to bus terminal or Ao Nang beach or any other places. One of the best khanom jeen nam ya in Krabi town food stall is also around the corner. You can walk to river side night market and Big wet morning market too. Quite in the Zone. If you don't like so much of the happening, this may not be your place as it might get noisy at night because of the singing from walking street night market.

100% value for money, in the center of Krabi Town, near the markets, clean room, tv has a lot of hd channels and the best quality I had in Thailand so far. You’re also able to rent a motorbike at the hotel, we had a scoopy. The personnel also can arrange a taxi to Ao Nang which is cheaper than Grab.

Great Location”

we always stay here when we visit krabi. we book a standard twin 'new wing'. the new wing rooms are larger than the old wing. the rooms are exactly like the photos on the website. they are clean with a good bathroom (shower only). the aircon and tv are both good and the free wifi works well. the rooms i have stayed in have had no view. the great thing about this hotel is the location. the day market is opposite for food and fruit. the night market is a short walk away. there is no breakfast or restaurant but plenty of places to eat nearby.

Clean and comfortable in the centre of Krabi. ”

Simple, comfortable rooms in the centre of Krabi Town. Right next to weekend market which was great and a lovely little coffee shop opposite that we went to a few times. We thought the noise from the busy road would be bad, but we couldn't hear anything! Right above a 7 eleven and motorbike hire all around aswell. Very convenient. Only negative was that we wish they had a security box in the room as the signs everywhere saying to take valuables with us made us feel the room was unsafe.

Value for the money ”

Prime located in krabi town, walking distance to bogus department store and weekend night market. There's also a 7-11 store next to the hotel. However, mosquitoes are found in hotel room and few hairs found on the bed sheet. I hope they do change the bed sheets after every checked out.

A nice hotel in Krabi town”

The hotel are very clean, it was the center of krabi town, opposite the hotel is 2 night market. You can find the Thai cheap foods. The staff was so nice and helpfull. The room are very clean and quite. We should come back ;)

Good hotel, near many services”

We stayed one night in City hotel. Hotel is in the center of Krabi town, close to marketplace. There are also many services and stores close by. The turist restaurants and shops are in walking distance. Many restaurants which are near, close after working hours. Hotel room was very nice. We liked it very much. It was spacious and clean. Shower was excellent, which is not always so, in hotels at this price range. We'd definitely stay here again.
