"We got an apartment unit with a kitchen (that comes with stringent rules). The town was small and the premise is easy to locate. The apartment was a few minutes walk away from the main hotel, but also shorten the route to the supermarket that's just stone's throw away. The apartment was small, but comfy. There were no common living area, just the dining table of four within the kitchen space. The apartment could do some simple touch-up. And the bathroom heater was not working and there were no curtain. You'll need an extra towel to sandwich between the top-hung window. But that would have allowed the cold air in. So it's either privacy during shower or warm shower in the dark. We felt that it could be further improved. What's great is that the room offers a clear view of Kirjufell Mountain from the bedroom. Sadly for us, it was rainy and there were no aurora that night."

"As hostels go, this is a 'run of the mill' experience. The rooms are large but the wifi is horrible. The public shower is wonderful though with plenty of hot water. The beds are cozy and the room temperature is decent. However, the kitchen is a bit run down. Overall, there is a number of pro's and con's which equate to an average review in TA. I will say it's inconvenient to park in an area 5 min walk away from the hostel."
