"We were in our honeymoon and we absolutely loved our stay at Litli Geysir Hotel. It was homey, spacious and lovely staff! We got lost driving from the airport to Litli Geysir and the staff who took our call stayed with us giving information (on top of the emails!) & led us back to the main road. Loved her optimism and seeing the positive side of us being lost! She kept telling us, "well this is a nice story to tell your friends AND such a pretty place to be lost (we were at the lake of Þingvellir National Park). That basically calmed us all the way to the hotel. There was a mix-up in our room and the front desk made sure we got our room back, apologetic and all. Litli Geysir is also the perfect place to see the Northern Lights. We saw it on our 3rd night and because the area is pitch black the Aurora plus the faint lights from the hotel, IT WAS PICTURE PERFECT! "
