The toilet with a bath tub so you can enjoy at evening. The bed is comfortable not hard and not soft. I will recommend my friend and relative to live in again. Thanks! "

"We stayed at the "Run of House" room in the RIHGA Royal Hotel Osaka for 4nights this time and we highly recommend it for family travelling with children. When we made the booking, we understood in general that it was hard to find a hotel room big enough in Japan so we were only looking for somewhere with a relatively larger room - we didn't realize what we booked in RIHGA was actually a Suite. It offered enough beds for everyone and a huge family bath/shower room. In addition, it has an extra living room (yes, that's correct!!), and an extra toilet room, which was a big nice surprise to all of us - and it was all reasonablely priced. RIHGA hotel itself is a grand hotel with quite a few nice restaurants and shops. Staff at the RIHGA are all very nice and speak good English. We would certainly like to come back in future."

"The hotel is located inside the station. It is easier to travel to any part of Kansai from the hotel. Restaurants and convenient shop, Tokyu Hands and shopping mall are between walking distance. Room is spacious and comfortable. Clean bed sheet and towels are being changed every day, their do the housekeeping properly where you can't find any dirty dust in the room. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to travel to Osaka. For sure, this is my favorite hotel in Osaka. Good Job Granvia Osaka! "

"The hotel is across the umeda airport limousine station so very convenient for airport drop-off and pick-up. It is adjacent to subway station for midosuji, hankyu and JR lines making means of transportation convenient. It is surrounded by shopping malls and restaurants. Staff at front desk are very courteous, can understand and speak English and helpful. Rooms are very clean and bigger than usual compared with other hotels in Osaka. They have repacking / weighing room in the lobby which is very useful and convenient after last minute shopping. The only downside in this hotel room is that you can hear the sound of trains leaving the umeda station. Sound is tolerable and not irritating though."

"The hotel is very new, only opened in late November 2019. Location wise, it is absolutely the best!!! It is connected to Osaka Station and from the overhead pedestrian walkway (easier to maneuver the huge station city) and the Osaka/Umeda Station, we could go to Lucua, Hankyu, Daimaru, Hanshin and Grand Front Osaka departmental stores! It is simply amazing. The hotel room is clean and nicely furnished. However, due to the layout, it is too cramped for four of us. I thought the room is 47m2 but we really found it hard to move around the room. There are 4 single beds in the room and only one table top right in front of the TV with a smaller lower adjacent table where the kettle and cups are placed. We couldn't find anywhere to place our three midsized luggages other than the small floor area between the wall and the beds. There is also no shelving or hooks in the bathroom, so we have to place them outside below the sink. It would be nice if the hotel could free up more space in room."

"Basic Accomodation. Nothing more than a place to rest and recharge after spending most of your time outside in Osaka. Close to Umeda nightlife. Yes the area is an adult nightlife area but in Japan this is not so unheard of. This neighborhood has some hostess clubs and love hotels and lots of neon signs suggesting this but none of it is in your face. The Umeda area is full of restaurants shopping and nightlife. Im not sure this is a good area for a family looking for a Disneyfied experience but when I am in Osaka I culd care a less about it. I spend all my time outside and enjoy the nightlife. I only come to my rooom to take a shower, charge batteries, and sleep. Hotel does have laundry facilities which are helpful. This is just a small room with a bed tv and shower. A good place to get some rest after all day exploring Osaka or a night of drinking and eating. Dont stay here if you are a princess stay here if you want to save money and just need to rest. It serves its purpose perfectly. "

"I found Karaksa the best choice hotel for location that is near to Shin Osaka which has JR, Metro and Shinkansen and lots of restaurants. It took abt 5-8 min to walk to station. Staff are helpful and very nice. They delivered our luggage to the room already when we got back to the hotel at 9pm in the first night. The room has everything even more than we expected - a small sofa, a bath tub, pajamas (compared to what we heard about hotels in Japan). Beds are comfy two pillows (hard and soft). Shower was strong and we can put two (one big and one small) luggages in the room. Lawson downstair- u dont need to go out of the building and public bath which is very clean and not crowded. Room is also clean. The building is new and well designed. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Fyi that I had two beds standard room. "

"Price was so good! I stayed 3 nights only $290 something CAD! And the room was big enough for one or two persons, especially there was some space for your big luggage. Even though it's a little far from Shinsaibashi shopping street, but actually only around 13 min walking distance. And there's a Family Mart and a coffee shop nearby. And the staffs were so friendly and helpful. They helped me book a Kobe beef restaurant in Kobe by phone. And the room I stayed was non-smoking, even though I didn't request specially. And it was quiet at night. I will stay in this hotel next time when I visit Osaka again."

"Rihga Nakanoshima Inn is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. The hotel locates right beside the subway exit, has two 24-hr convenient stores downstairs, and has one 24-hr Ra-men shop and Gyuudon stop nearby. What I liked most about this hotel is their service. The front counter was nice, but the maid service was just amazing. I will just give one example to illustrate how excellent their maid service was. We put an glass with unfinished water beside the television. Normally, the maid would either throw the water away or just leave the glass as is. What the maid of Rihga Nakanoshima Inn did was: wrap a transparent plastic bag on top of the glass to prevent dirt. They even folded our clothes for us. I don't know if this is their SOP, but we were truly amazed by the 5-star quality of service they offered. The room was small but, well, it is Japan so we really cannot complain too much either. The room has a press ironing machine and TWO hairdryers (one normal, one salon grade). Besides the toothbrushes and those common items, even face cleansing foam soap was provided. I don't even know what more I could ask for. I do have some suggestions for the hotel management. 1. WIFI is not very stable. I often got disconnected when I am uploading my documents. I did try to use LAN (with cable provided in the room), but the LAN was not working at all. 2. They should use a plastic garbage bags for the trash cans (in the room and bathroom). Although the maid empty the trash everyday, I think it it better to have garbage bags installed since not all the trash is dry."

More about Osaka

Having gotten its start in the 1500s when its grand castle was built, Japan's second-largest city is still a place where locals appreciate the value of fine foods and designer goods. While Osaka can't compete with Tokyo in terms of scale, it certainly has a reputation for refined living.

Most of the hotels in Osaka are in Umeda, near the bullet train station. These include major international names set in prominent entertainment districts. These hotels are convenient choices for business travelers as well as tourists.

On the surface, Osaka looks like any other big city, but it hides a mammoth shopping arcade underground. A couple of these are among the largest malls in Japan, and they're completely out of sight. Above-ground boutiques are also located in the Namba and Shinsaibashi districts. Osaka Castle, a Universal Studios theme park, and the enormous Osaka Aquarium are some of the city’s major attractions.

Osaka's international gateway is Kansai International Airport. The main terminal is a mile long and well equipped with dining and shopping facilities as well as a rail link to the city center.

Be sure to check out the interactive map of Osaka for information on hotel locations, attractions, and must-see destinations.
