Phitsanulok hotels & accommodations

I have now stayed at this hotel two times when visiting my wife's family in Phitsanulok, Thailand. It is an exceptional hotel and fantastic value for money. I will always be staying at this hotel when visiting this area of Thailand. The hotel is near new with modern hotel facilities including modern rooms, beautiful landscaping, exceptional greeting and service b...

We stopped in Phitsanulok on our way from Chiang Mai to Laos. We chose the hotel for it's large pool so our kids could swim and for the price. It was supposed to be just a quick stop over, but we had car trouble. After we checked out we were still waiting around in the lobby for the car to be done. Not only did the staff not mind, once they began talking to us about ou...

This hotel is so well run with amazing staff and an excellent manageress. Everything was perfect. The breakfasts were lovely as well with a great selection and delicious coffee. They were so quick and eager to help us with our luggage from our car and even had someone keep an eye on the cars at night in the large parking lot. If you travel to Phitsanulok I recommend yo...

My first time staying here was great. Very closed to the famous temple and located in the center of Phitsanulok. Good room and good facilities. Bathroom is together with toilet, found some stain but it’s acceptable. The most important thing need to be fixed was reception. No smiling , unpolite and unhelpful. However, I really love the great service of bellboy who drov...

I stayed in this hotel on two separate nights en-route between Chiangmai and Nakhon Phanom. I have tried before to find a pleasant hotel in Phitsanulok but to no avail. Wonderful that I now have this choice when I make this regular trip. On the banks of the river Nan, close to Wat Pra Si Rattana Mahathat (aka. Wat Yai), it has just 21 rooms, 2 suites and 2 connecting r...

the ayara grand palace hotel is a breath of fresh air compared to most of the dingy old hotels in phitsanulok. from the moment we arrived and were greeted with a cold drink we knew that this hotel was going to be good. the attentive staff could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. the rooms were bright, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, including...

the resort has a jurasic park feel about it.r room is a cute cabin that has 1950's style to it.you are about 50km from phitsanulok city in the countryside by a small river.no smoking or drinking at the swimming pool.the pool is small, but well maintained.the restaruant is closed by 8pm.

The hotel is incredibly well designed and decorated to the smallest details. High end luxury with affordable pricing. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide range. Felt like the only people staying - extremely quiet and peaceful - we really enjoyed the swimming pool area. Ideal for a weekend break when you want peace and quiet. Great staff - > Chamchuree - the fr...

I've stayed at many of the Hop Inns all over Thailand, and they are all basically the same. They have all been clean with good WiFi, and very new and stylish. The rooms are not huge, but they make good use of the space. for a night or 2 they are fine, but if you are going to be in a place for more than 2 days look for a apartment or house to rent for more room. But for...

This is first time to try this hotel and it is good for sleeping to take rest if you were traveling around Thailand or just quick visit for this area. The bed is stiff but not too much comfy. Restroom is good but the shower not covered with curtains or a glass to keep water away from wetting the floor. However, breakfast is very simple eggs, sausage with toasts...

We stayed at the hotel during our visit to the Chinarat Buddha at Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, which is only 5 minutes down the street and easily accessible from the hotel. I was not expecting much from a small town hotel, but it was surprisingly nice. The lobby and dining room are older but very well appointed, and the rooms are comfortable and nicely maintained. We...

Perfect for nature lovers and anybody who wants to stay off the beaten track. It's about a 45 minute bus ride out of town, but there didn't seem to be much to do in actual Phitsanulok anyway. The owner is lovely and welcoming and the bungalows are so pretty and peaceful. It was perfect, I would have been happy to just lounge around the hotel and not go out to be honest...

New, very clean Hotel (it looks like a new 3-stars-hotel in Europe), very clean big rooms, small balcony, ac, fridge, w-lan, no mosquito-net, no breakfast, no laundry service (in contrast to the description), no personal touch. The location is central and not far from the railway station. In the neighbour hood are some bars (frequented by locals in summer), but also (a...

This hotel is about 100 yards from the train station and a very short walk to the river and night bazzar, 5 minutes walk to Wat Yai (the big temple). It is an older hotel and the rooms look a bit tired but we were pleasantly surprised to find everything was very clean. The hotel was a real bargain given the price included breakfast, which you might be glad of as there ...

Thailand can be extremely hot., but the lacers of trees keep the temperature down. If that is not enough the pool is large enough to do laps (25 yards). The rooms are large and modern. The manager speaks perfect English. It was a treat to see the elephants that come right to the front of the hotel with their caretakers. You can also visit the elephants where they li...

Reasonably central location. Rooms fine but tight when you have an extra bed as we did. Staff friendly. Breakfasts a little limited but not a disaster. Phitsanulok was found to have very limited tourist attractions. Pretty well all are Thai temples (Wats). Good restaurants but not easy to find. I would recommend the hotel but not the town.

I came to Phitsanulok to visit Naresuan university and Rajabhat university. This hotel is in the middle of both of them. So the location is quite ok according to that. However, it's far from town. So I couldn't explore the local store or food easily. Despite that, the restaurant provides very tasty dinner at affordable price. The gym is excellent! It's like full servic...

Well-priced and very clean. The bed was large, the shower was hot, the staff was very friendly (some speak English), and the breakfast was diverse and delicious. Hotel staff even offered to take us to the bus station and made a second trip after we forgot a water bottle at the hotel. Great service and excellent location (about 10 min walk to bus station). I would defin...

I stayed at Asizz for a night with my family. We had such a nice sleep there. The room was clean and full of facilities like hair dryer, electric kettle and wifi. The staffs there are so friendly and helpful. A small guy at reception guided us around and even gave us a free city map. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Phitsanulok, this place will be a good ...

The hotel is on the western outskirts of Phitsanulok - so it is convenient if travelling NS or East. Mr room (2501, I think) was not on the 2nd floor but the 5th, and faced the busy main highway. Closed windows and drapes blocked out most of the noise but if you are a light sleeper request a room in the adjacent building or on the non-road side of the first building....

The Taman Spa Resort is a quiet undiscovered family run hotel. Large simple, comfortable rooms situated in landscaped grounds. Has not yet been discovered. Pool and quiet areas with small waterfalls create a tranquil retreat for relaxation. Definitely not a busy main-stream establishment, more good honest quality accommodation. Breakfast is personally served by the own...

For the price you pay, this is probably the best hotel to stay at. The hotel room was very clean and tidy and it was spacious enough [for me]. Bathroom / toilet was also nice and clean. I could hear the music from the ground floor bar / restaurant, and to be perfectly honest, I didn't particularly like that, but this is not a 5 star hotel - you can't really expect sou...
Cheap places to stay in Phitsanulok

I was supposed to spend only one night at Karma hOMe hostel but I actually stayed two. Mark, the owner, made me feel so welcome and there was such a good energy that I decided to stay more. Mark is very kind and I appreciated the way he cares of his guests. The hostel is nice and clean and also have a terrace. It's very close to the station and facilities. Mark als...

Nap corner hostel was a perfect place for me to take a rest day during my travel. It was very clean and the staff and family (who own the place) were really nice. A girl who worked there took me to Phitsanulok nightmarket with her scooter! That was awesome 👍🏻 I was staying in a women dorm upstairs and there were AC, 2 toilet/bathroom combinations and 6 beds. Downstai...

Our double room was huge, super clean and with a private bathroom, exactly what we were searching for. It was quite central but it was just nearby a very busy highway so it was super noisy. Personally I have a deep sleep but for other can become a huge problem.

Went to phitsanulok to make a pause on my bus trip. Found this hostel : the bedroom was so cheap compared to how clean and comfy it was. It offers the luxe of an hotel with the price of a guesthouse. They even give you toiletries, free coffee, free bottle of water etc etc. The owners were absolutely nice and helped me get a taxi, do my laundry etc... I would just ad...

ok so 350 baht will get you a double room on the top (4th) floor. There's no lift so it's a bit of a climb and beware of the first step as you ascend from the 3rd floor, it's a bigger step than the rest. But I've skipped ahead. check in was quick and efficient but without any warmth. Probably a language barrier thing. The rooms are a good size. The bed is a que...

No more than 5 minutes walk from Phitsanulok bus terminal 1. It has parking though. Friendly helpul receptioninst. I had to pay 200 Baht deposit on the room. The room looks very new. I paid about 400 Baht for the room. It has a fridge, good aircon and a decent hot shower. The wifi worked well and I had 3 devices using it. There is free coffee downstairs. The n...

If you are in Phitsanulok for a layover and need to be near the bus station, this is a good deal. The hotel is located just a few minutes' walk to the bus station and a number of excellent restaurants and street food stalls. The staff are sincere and helpful. However, if you want to be in the city centre, this is actually some distance away from town. All in all, a ver...

I chose this hotel because of its location, that I wanted to stay near Phitsanulok Airport and also have easy access on the road to Phijit province. It met my both criteria on location. I stayed here for 1 night. The owner who is very friendly and service-minded also works at the reception. My room was comfortable and clean, with all basic amenities. The hair-dryer wa...

The hotel was not far from the train station, like 10 minutes walk. However, the problem was they do not speak a word of English. It took us like half an hour to make the receptionist understand that we booked through Agoda and we had already paid. She sent us to another hotel and they sent us back to this one, and finally we used google translator to h

Stayed there only one night but would´ve liked to stay there much longer! When we arrived, parking just outside reception, the owner(?) came to greet us. Since I arrived I felt that was a great place to stay. Friendly service, enough parking, cleaning and new. Room is big with beautiful decoration, nice furniture and fitting, good breakfast. It's one of my favourite place in Thailand. If this place could have swimming pool would be great during summer for relaxing. Thank you for looking after us while we were there...

Perfectly located for the old bus station. Only 5 minutes walk. Staff friendly. Rooms are a good size and clean. Always quiet for a good sleep. A small buffet breakfast is normally included. Real reviews for hotels
this is histrorical and natural city. they have story about the king who fight to get our country back from Myanmar.
As I mentioned before, Phitsanulok was a rest location on a long drive - and it was ideal for this. I cannot comment on the finer details of the city as I did not explore enough to be any sort of authority.
Its a typical Thai small town - don't expect too much tourist business - ask locals for the good restaurants -
I only stayed one night, and one more night would not have been enough, so i guess about 3 days should do it, though you use this as a base to visit nearby provinces.
Good location in the middle of Thailand. Easy to drive from Bangkok or Chiangmai only 4 hr. There are many natural places which are good for eco tourism, biking or brown water rafting.
Variety with historical museum, rafting, big Bhudda in the old Thai temple which is the most beautiful of Bhudda in Thailand
the small province but fillfull by culture, history, and nice local people. if you are interesting with religion and history, please try to here.
Many people seem to use Phitsanulok as a stepping stone to Sukhothai, and I think it deserves more time for exploration.
Phitsanulok is a large bustling city of almost 1 million people and should be visited at Water Festival time in April.
good province , nice place about old city and have nice place for shopping mall , transportation very good have airport , local bus , tuk tuk , and have beautiful moutain , waterfall and natural place for relax
I don't know if there is anything to do there. But it's a great place to stop if driving from one part of Thailand to the other.
Phitsanulok is a friendly city. It has a good night life as well it has good markets. The river runs through the middle of the city and is fun to explore the riverside.
Fly from Bangkok and start a tour of Northern Thailand from this point. You may wish to hire transport from here.
Phitsanulok is a typical Thai country town where people are going about their daily business and making the most of what they have.
good place. But the Hotel is not inside the main city, but better to stop over fro those traveler with vehicle or motorbike.
I found a very good Big Bike Repair Shop, which could help me with my bike problems to my very full satisfaction
Phitsanulok is a big city on the North of Thailand. The attractive thing for tourists is the very very beautiful and famous Budha image called Chinnaraj.
Nice city and close to sukothai. The problem is you have to see a few taxi . You have to call taxi by calling call centre .
College town with alot of younbg thai people. Check out the nightbazaar. Go dining and order the local speciality of pak boong fai daeng.
