"We lodged in two rooms, one single room on 3rd floor with spacious comfortable bed, clean, neat, though small but very well arranged. Other two bed room on 2nd floor for my two growing boys. Its a modest stay, perfectly match with the location and surrounding. Breakfast is good and sufficient, only need to find the right time to get a nice table near the pool, otherwise the resto is too small for the many guests they have. Staffs are very nice, fast and competent, even to organize and get my rented car parked and retrieved from somewhere, as the parking place in front of the hotel is too small for more than 10cars. The street is narrow and need to be patient for getting in and out with cars, but its yogyakarta anyway, enjoyfull. There is prawirotaman tradisional market at one side of the hotel, the street will be blocked from that end during early morning time. in all, a good priced, well located, artistic and nice hotel, with its forgetable minus."

"To sum up, this hotel is simply amazing from all point of view. Personally I would say this could be one of the best hotel in Yogyakarta and one of the best that we have stayed throughout our travel around the world. Excellent hospitality from the point of check in to check out. The hotel is located 0.5km from the biggest shopping mall in Yogyakarta (the Ambarukmo Mall). The hotel provides complimentary shuttle services to Ambarukmo Mall/ Lippo Mall and also to the famous Malioboro street shopping district. Malioboro street is around 20 minutes ride from the hotel. Room: We stayed in the premier double room. The room is clean, comfy and huge, The birthday setting was superb with personal touch from the hotel staffs. Cleanliness it top notch. Common area: No matter which corner you walk to, the entire hotel is clean and shining at all times. 6 star! Check out their green house/hydroponic garden. A must see. Pool: Big, clean and suitable for both adults and children. Breakfast: One of the best spread that we have seen. Overall it exceeded our expectations. From Indian food, to local and western, name it and they have it all right there. Complimentary cakes, cappuccino or even espresso!!! I will take some time to honour the following hotel staffs who had gone beyond their time and effort to ensure we had a fantastic stay: 1. Via - Verandah Restaurant - Excellent personal touch in preparing our cocktail. Very attentive and humble, 2. Jasmine - Retreat Spa -Though we didn't use the spa this time, the spa looked amazing. She took the time to take me for a tour and a personal thanks to her for recommending a nice hangout spot to chill out in town. 3. Retno - She was simply fantastic. From the point we arrived at the hotel, she was right there waiting for us to ensure that we had a smooth check in. She treated us with Bak Pia while waiting for our check in. The best part, she brought the birthday cake to our room to surprise my wife with a birthday song. Best birthda"

"Good to stay at LPP Garden hotel with 3 star rating where room is very spacious big little bit old building construction, fairly quite for refreshing or relax, staff are friendly and help you to book a taxi when you want to go out or leaving hotel to airport or train station, they give a complimentary spa voucher that is very surprise. Breakfast they serves plenty of food but not wide variety, I like an egg corner but the juice are too sweet. Opposite the hotel is mini market that is make it easy for you to buy a little thing needed, near to Ambarukmo Plaza shopping center walking about 800 meters from the hotel. Parking are big enough for the guests who bring a car and just only one matter issue is the bath room need a lot of renovation for example the bath room door can not shut well and closet flusher is broke down when I was stay at room no 201. Over all is okay to stay here ! "

"Everything is great! Property looks very new and very nice. Car parking seems sufficient (or it is well-managed by hotel security/gatekeeper staff). Professional service from all staff (gatekeeper, bellboy, receptionist), they are very helpful and full of service mind. The room is still in new condition and clean; bath room amenities is up to standard. Elevator and corridors are also clean. There is an area under construction but it is not obstruct nor disturb our stay. The only thing I find unpleasant is the light at the open closet (cloth hanging) that it is automatically on at all time when you put the key card on. We asked receptionist and were informed that it will be turned off only when the keycard is off. I found this unpleasant because I was not comfortable sleeping with the light (though my roommate consider that is minimal to dim light and she slept well!!). In conclusion, this is a perfect choice of hotel we selected in Yogyakarta. Recommended!!"

"Let's review it one by one: PRICE: I'd say the price is fair considering it's a new hotel (that is just my guess). Capsule hotel is suitable for solo traveler or people who only need a place to spend the night. LOCATION: It's good if you want to explore Malioboro area and around. But if you drive your own car, it can be tricky since there will be traffic jam near Malioboro road at night (I stayed at Saturday night). But no worries, parking area for car is available there. CLEANLINESS : I like that the towel is so white and looked like new. Sometimes the closets are wet. STAFF : The water ran out twice during my stay there, first around 7 pm and second around 8.30 am on the next morning. No warning about that and it ran out while I was taking a bath (around 7 pm). When I asked the receptionist, he only said that the water run out and need the tank needs to be filled again for a while. No apologies there. No information on how long it will takes if I didn't ask him about that. Then i had to postpone my bath time. The next day, I had a stomachache and wanted to go to the bathroom when my brother told me that he heard another guest asked about the water. And I ended up not going to the bathroom. I knew it wasn't entirely the staff's fault, but the fact that they couldn't handle the case properly really made me upset and showed me how bad their management is. Also, they let soap dispensers (almost) empty for a while, and it was hard to get soap out of it. FACILITIES : Locker worked well. Inside the capsule is pretty cool with TV and adjustable light. Considering all the factors, I don't think I will be back again. If you are not come alone, there are better places with competitive price you can pick. If you split the cost, I think it won't be that far different from the price here."

"This is the best hotel we ever stayed. The staff are very friendly, helpful and thoughtful. We request for a morning call as our daily tour start as early as 4:00AM local time and the front desk staff never failed to follow up with us about the our preferred breakfast so that they can get their chef to prepared for us to take out. The breakfast is a complimentary with the room we booked and yet the staff is thoughtful to prepared it for us. I think the manager really train their staff well to understand the true meaning of hospitality where even a 5 star hotel might able to provide this kind of heartfelt service. The room is very clean and the bed is super comfy. Daily room service to tidy up our room was given an excellent service as well. This is a worth staying hotel as a very reasonable price lets not mentioned their buffer breakfast where we manage to enjoy it on the last day of our vacation. Thank you so much Ayaartta Hotel Malioboro, you have make my trip memorable. "

"We took a bit of a stab in the dark with staying in Yogyakarta as no one we knew had been there or knew about any of the sights. I had seen a documentary about Borobudur however and was determined we were going to see it. We chose the hotel purely on reviews and to be honest, the reviews do not do the place justice! There were many safety procedures as we arrived and in one way felt it was a little over the top but then realised during our first day how much it was needed. Safety and security at the hotel was very important and we felt happy to be staying there! We arrived at night so went straight to our room, the room was large as well as the bathroom and the balcony had a lovely night view of the swimming pool. When we woke up in the morning we were completely blown away with the view of Mount Merapi in the distance. The view from our room didn’t quite match the one from the breakfast area/restaurant where we were literally stopped dead in our tracks. The hotel certainly feeds off the volcano as an attraction point with big floor to ceiling windows and balcony areas so you can stare in awe. The first day we wanted to explore a little of Yogyakarta itself but were soon stopped in our tracks. The taxi driver we ordered from the hotel tour guide wouldn’t leave us to explore and instead insisted on showing us around the tourist shops etc via car. The distance between the places were no in walking distance and it soon became apparent we needed a car for many reasons so were grateful. Yogyakarta is trying to be a creative hub and there are many artistic marks on the city, sadly the place is not exactly “tourist friendly” yet but it is a very authentic Javanese city and we are glad we visited the area. The next two days we booked a driver from the hotel to take us to Borobudur and Prambanan the first day and Ketep Pass the next day to see Mount Merapi close up. Our driver Agung was fantastic, he was very friendly and made the few hours we had in the car each day go a"

Yogyakarta, also known as Jogja, is a vibrant city located on the island of Java in Indonesia. It is a popular destination for travelers from all over the world, thanks to its rich cultural heritage, stunning natural landscapes, and delicious local cuisine. However, choosing the best time to visit Yogyakarta can be a bit tricky, as the city experiences two distinct seasons: the wet season and the dry season. The wet season in Yogyakarta runs from October to April, with the heaviest rainfall occurring from December to February. Despite the rain, this season can be a great time to visit, as the city is lush and green, and the temperatures are cooler. The wet season is also the low season for tourism, which means that hotel rates are generally lower and there are fewer crowds to contend with. On the other hand, the dry season in Yogyakarta runs from May to September, with June to August being the driest months. This is the peak season for tourism, as the weather is sunny and pleasant, making it ideal for sightseeing and outdoor activities. If you are looking for a budget-friendly trip and don't mind a little rain, then the wet season may be the best time for you. However, if you want to enjoy the city's outdoor attractions and don't mind paying a little extra for accommodation, then the dry season may be the way to go.
