best hotel ever”
this was my first holiday in samui as my girlfreind worked on the island, being thai she recommended this hotel as it was in a quite location where we could spend time getting to know each other, i was not dissapointed we spent 4 nights there and i wish i booked more. the hotel itself had a real tropical feel to it and all the staff were really freindly and helpfull, the breakfast was good and the pool bar area was great service and good value for money with regular promotions on food and drink. this part of my holiday in thailand was the best and i will be going back to this hotel for 2 weeks in april. thank you ever so much to all the staff at coral cove i wont forget you

Great views, friendly staff”
the hotel is located on a hill that looks over a beach and the water. you can tell when entering your room that this is a better quality hotel than the run of the mill in thailand or better than other hotels claiming to be a 4 star hotel. you will need to rent a motor bike to get around or you will be paying high taxi fees everywhere you go. but you want a bike to get around samui anyways. only thing bad i can say about this hotel: there were not enough plugs to plug in my computer, my razor, battery charger etc. in fact, there was only 1 socket on the wall where i had to unplug the lamp to use it. also, over new years eve the power went out and the food got cold for the new years eve party, but the hotel at least had a generator so i guess that is a plus... the weather is not controlled by the hotel

Gorgeous apartment in a gorgeous location”
Brought my mother to Thailand for the first time, Coral CoveChalet was the perfect place. We were only 10 minutes from Lamai and Chaweng, it was so peaceful and beautiful and the private beaches were lovely. The staff were exceptionally nice and we ate in the restaurant a few nights and the food was delicious. I don't have any comploants and would definitely return.

Affordable Thai beach luxury”
I stayed 5 nights here, loved it and didn't want to leave. I was traveling alone, and found the location so serene, and perfect for a quiet luxury beach holiday. My bungalow looked over the private beach, and I watched the sun rise over the ocean each morning. Snorkeling equipment was available to hire (very cheap at 150b a day) and there were heaps of beautiful tropical fish to see only a few feet from the shore. It never felt like crowded at Coral Cove Chalets, the staff were quite attentive, especially the restaurant waiters who were very sweet. The breakfast was very nice, not a huge selection but really delicious - local fruit, omelettes made to order, fried noodles/rice, sausages, toast, croissants. I asked for prik nam pla with every meal, never a problem! The lunch and dinner menu was fine although not overly spicy (but cheap ~ 130b), but it was a 100 metre walk to the adjacent beach where an open air restaurant sold incredible Tom yum and curries for 60b. My room was beautiful, the balcony was a lovely place to sit. Loved this place!

Good Hotel and Great Location ”
Our 2nd time to Samuiand would definitely go back and stay at Coral Cove Chalets, best location in my opinion. Quieter than Chaweng and not overcrowded. Chaweng is full of Jet Skis and boats etc, where as the private beaches at Coral Cove are quiet and clean with good snorkeling and more features. Very close to the Cliff restaurant and a few others which are really good. Don't expect 5 star rooms, but comfortable enough for a beach holiday for a week or two.

Very Lovely resort in Traditional Thai Style”
We found this resort to be great..Prices were great..!! The Deluxe Bungalow in Thai style we stayed in was perfect,large-rooms,very clean with soft linen and comfortable beds, clean and fresh modern bathroom and close to beach but away from the road which was noisey.. We didnt get any road noise were we were though..!! Air-conditioning worked well and the place was very well maintained. The food was wonderfull a little expensive but when you eat lovely fresh sea-food every meal then who can complain??

I love this hotel”
That's the best hotel I been so far! I love their breakfast and their staff very nice. Good sea view and you can snorkeling in the private beach. there is a nice restaurant in main beach, cheap and very delicious. but if you wanna go to Lamai or chaweng you must by taxi or motorbike.

Pretty good”
In a lovely spot with well maintained grounds.Beach not really swimmable, but Lamai not far away. Staff really good, bike rental easy, buffet breakfast not too bad, the salads very fresh. Only downside was the pool chemistry.. Hurts your eyes so can't really go under.. A common fault in Thai resorts. And the water a little cloudy, although it was improving. Next time I'll book at Lamai as that's where we spent most of our time anyway. Nice and quiet and easy to look at hotel.

Nice hotel! It's big too.”
lots of space, two pools, right on the beach, this was a nice hotel and a great price. a couple small complaints were the ac took a while to get going, but once it did, it was comfortable. the food was awesome, but the restaurant was empty and took a really long time to make. we mentioned it to the staff. i felt the food made up for the slow dining service though. also, almost everything is outside, the dining room, bar, even hotel hallways and lobby. since it was right on the beach, there were mosquitos biting us like crazy at dinner and checking in, but nothing a little big spray won't fix. other than that, pretty awesome hotel, i would stay again.

Great outlook with stunning setting”
This resort is located halfway between the 2 main beaches it pays to have a scooter here. The beach and pool setting is 10 out of 10 , pool bar is cool just closes a little early the resort staff were friendly and most spoke good english .Buffet breakfast was good . Quiet location and would be child friendly ( we were lucky enough to leave ours at home ), would recomend to anyone .

Avoid if you need support from the staff”
Overall this is a nice clean resort with a nice pool and beach and fairly good location. The rooms are clean but the furniture dated and makes the rooms feel "old". We enjoyed out stay up to the point when we had to deal with the front desk staff. On every occasion we asked them for something we received a very unfriendly, frank attitude like they really did not WANT to help us. This reached a climax on the final night when we asked them for help with a taxi/transfer to the airport very early the next morning (4.30), at which point they said it's too late for them to help us with that (it was about 8pm) and basically told us we are on our own in trying to get to the airport. No matter how nice I asked they did not want to help with anything to help get us to the airport on time. So the bottom line is that if you are looking for a resort with friendly staff that makes you feel welcome or that are looking after your best interests while you are in a foreign country, then I suggest you avoid this resort AT ALL COSTS.

Good Value”
Hotel is 1/2 to 3/4 hour from airport, take the van taxi for 200 baht... The hotel is also a couple of miles from the village but the good thing is they rent what appears to be hotel staff motor bikes for a reasonable price..Try and get a good bike.. they prefer and tell you the good ones are rented out but when you return, they are still there..The next day I suggested to them that I was going up the hill to rent eslewhere... I got a better bike then of my choice and kept it for the whole stay there... Breakfast is somewhat better then OK!.. limited choices but good.. Evening reception staff very friendly, day time older staff, "not so much"...maybe because of the bike problem?.. Good views of the sea from everywhere.. beaches clean, poor snorkling even with bannanas to feed the fish...fish were very small. Returning to the airport?, baht per person... Overall I believe,'a good value' and would stay there again..

Perfect for families - good for solo traveler”
This hotel is close to paradise. Location is great, because it is close to Silver Beach and quite close to Chaweng. The hotel is best for families and couples. I was a solo traveler, and I was the only one. Staff is friendly, pools are nice, food is good and the room is clean. Could not wish for anything else.

awesome hotel”
great rooms and view and the food was great and buffet breakfast too( try the ommelette they make in front of you they are great). it was a very nice stay here but the beach was very small not like the pictures they have, but it is secluded. we were both happy as they did our room for honeymoon and the cleaning staff do a great job. they try their utmost to serve any need you have and can also hire motorbike to go around the place and try so many different restaurants

Little oasis”
I've been trying out hotels in the koh san rd area for almost 10yrs and this is by far the best i've been in for cleanliness, comfort and proximity. Definitely coming back to this one! It's worth the extra baht.

Loved the peace and quiet of this location.”
We enjoyed our stay at Coral Cove Chalets. Altho our room was nice with great views it was close to the main road so it was rather noisy especially noticeable at nights, also the air on is Loud. Coral Cove beach is a lovely quiet spot away from the more populated beaches of Lamai and Chaweng but still close enough if you like to get into the hussle and bustle.

absoulute paradise”
the only negative comment about our stay was the check in and check out process the 3 woman at the front dest were very unfriendly and unwelcoming which was so out of character for every other aspect of our stay Lovely rooms and great acess to 2 private beaches. The restaurant staff were the loveliest group of people u could ever hope to meet.

A nice resort with beautiful surroundings”
Although a little pricey, a really beautiful resort. Slightly old but well maintained. Clean nice sized rooms, good air con and bathroom facilities. Ok pool and small fitness room. Close to beach which is a private beach area, although quite dangerous to swim in due to rips and strong currents. Excellent staff, very friendly.

Beautiful located hotel”
The hotel is beautifully situated in a mountain, but the hotel is far from both Lamai and Chaweng where there is shopping and restaurants. There are no shops at all in the vicinity. Five minutes by taxi and you get to the incredible beach Silver Beach (Ao Thong Takian) where we went every day (bad way to walk the same route). It will be expensive to get taxis to and from Lamai or Chaweng, which we did every day. Hotel private beach was bad, many steps in the staircase and grainy sand. The bottom was rocky, but the snorkeling was fine, but we would not choose a snorkeling trip around the island instead.
