Great choice!”

Great location. About a ten minute walk with kids. 5 if you are solo. Gym is pretty sparse. Pool is great. Can order beer via a phone on the wall lol. There is a really good grocery store/ mall with Dairy Queen/Dunkin Donuts etc. Convenience stores are close. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Beds are fine. AC works well. Hot water and pressure was good. Food is close by. We went to the Jazzy restaurant which is a 1 minute walk away! Overall nothing bad to say. Good value! Good for staying with little kids too!

Fantastic little hotel”

2nd time staying at this hotel, have stayed at other hotels in Lamai but we think this is the best hotel in Lamai.. wouldn't stay anywhere else now. The rooms are excellent, very clean, modern rooms, great bathroom and shower. The housekeeping staff do a very good job, each day our toiletries, coffee, tea, sugar and 2 bottles of free water are replaced, Very good value for money. 3 mins to Tesco and Central Lamai. Can walk to beach in 5mins. No noise from other guests. Just amazing-There are no negative things to say!

Excellent Hotel great staff”

The Hotel is brilliant super clean with great room ultra modern and very big as it looks on the pictures when people say it is very quiet it is but you are only 7/10 min walk to the beach and about a 5min walk to the start of the main strip where the bars are will be staying here again loved it .

Fantastic!”

Crystal Lamai was the best hotel that we’ve stayed at in all of Thailand. We’ve been travelling all around Thailand for a month and Crystal Lamai was hands down the best! The room, the pool, the staff, the value for money, everything was perfect. If we ever come back to Koh Samui we will be staying here.

New hotel. Value for money”

This is a new hotel with clean rooms and good facilities. Many restaurants available nearby. Pool is small but okay. Friendly staff

Wonderful”

We had a wonderful stay here for 5 nights. Sparkling clean rooms, very quiet at night I really enjoyed sitting in the balcony just looking at the palm trees.. Amazing! Only thing some would argue is location, but hotel is within walking distance to the beach, and you probably will have motorbike (big parking) to drive around.

Best value in Thailand”

I had such a great stay here. Clean and nice rooms, friendly staff, very good location and a nice pool. I doesn't want to leave.

Exceptional”

Fantastic value for this hotel. The staff was excellent. Super clean, with a very good swimming pool and comfortable beds. Location is about a 10 minute walk to the beach, but close to restaurants and we were happy being there without feeling the need for a motorbike. Highly recommended!

Clean and modern”

We stayed here after reading reviews on travel sites and we were not disappointed. The hotel looks recently built and everything was clean and modern. It had everything you need including pool, gym, restaurant and it was a short strole from the main pubs and beach. We stayed an extra night as we loved it so much

Great value for money ”

Great hotel nothing bad to say about it , clean, beautiful pool, friendly staff unfortunately the area was bit dead and beach was super dirty but it has nothing to do with the hotel I would just not come back to the area again. I believe once tourists are back they will clean up the beach and I would 100% give it 5 stars.

Cant fault it”

What a lively hotel. Very clean and modern. You could snell the new fittings in the room when you walk in. The staff were amazing and yhere was just something so relaxing about the place we booked another night there

Great value - best bang for your buck in lamai”

My only knock was the gym was just 1.5 cardio machines - the good thing is there are quite a few gyms in the area for 100-200thb per use.

Comfy bed & nearby city attractions”

Great big king size bed and European style room met our expectations. No views from the windows, as the majority of the rooms were facing other unit walls. Pool is small, but functional. Happy hour cocktails not worth money, as they put basically no alcohol in it. Better go to the city, as it is nearby with great eat&drink options, as well as numerous places to get massage. I would recommend this place to those who like to explore the city, rather than laying in front of the pool type of holidays.

Excellent”

The breakfast was great. Check in was easy and staff were friendly. The location was good too. A 5-10 minute walk away from many restaurants, bars and the beach, and tucked away enough that there wasn’t much noise coming from the street. The room was a bit noisy with people talking inside the hotel. There were no blackout curtains so street lights shone into the room, the pillows were tall so my partner and I experienced neck pain. The lounge chairs on the balcony were uncomfortable and strained our backs. The pool area was lovely and there was a fitness centre. Overall I would recommend this hotel. We extended our stay by two nights.

Perfect location very clean ”

This is the little things. Could do with a stronger shower , more loungers round pool and international Tv ie Netflix on those rainy days otherwise could not fault this abode ! . Would defiantly recommend and return.
