I stayed at De Chai the deco for 3 nights. I have to say that this is the best De Chai compared to the other De Chai hotels in Chiang Mai that I have stayed in. The staff speaks very good english and are always providing advice on where to go, and how much the fares should be. When we bought some apples from the open air market and tried to borrow a bread knife from the kitchen at De Chai, the staff offered to slice them up for us. 15 minutes later, the staff came to our room with a beautiful place of nicely sliced apples. This is what differentiate De Chai the Deco hotel from all the other Chiang Mai hotels we have previously stayed in. The attention to the little details.

New hotel, good location and lovely stuff”
We were with our 3 young children and really liked the hotel. It's clean, modern and completely new. It's well located (3 mins from the old city) and the stuff couldn't stop playing with our children. We'll be back to De Chai the Deco on our next visit to Chiang Mai.

Exceptional”
I usually stay in the sister hotel (De Chai Colonial) but that was full. I think the Deco is better. The location is great, breakfast is excellent and the staff very friendly. The rooms are quite big, comfy beds and it is quiet. Bathrooms can be slipperly so watch it. The swimming pool is a bit small and more like a 'dip' area to cool down. The gym is adequate to stay in trim for a reasonable workout. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel. I have already booked the other sister hotel (De Chai Oriental) because I want to know what that is like.

Absolute dream”
This hotel is fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself is very modern and the rooms and fittings are well finished and polished. Attention has been paid to the small details which most other hotels miss. The location is perfect - The hotel is situated right between the busy night markets and central Chiang Mai (both are easily walk-able) and the hotel is always happy to call you a taxi. The hotel is on a little quiet back-street so you can be right in the middle of the city and still get all the piece and quiet that you would normally expect from a hotel on the outskirts. We had a slightly odd arrangement where we had two separate bookings with a night spent elsewhere in the middle. The staff looked after our luggage whilst we were travelling and made the whole process seamless I will be staying here every time I visit Chiang Mai. Why go anywhere else!?

Amazing hotel with amazing staff and amazing rooms ”
at the time of booking this hotel it was also my partners birthday in our check in. Walked into the room to a beautiful bunch of pink roses and a cake with candles. Check in was speedy with someone taking us up to our room to show us around and baggage also being brought up. The hotel and room themselves are amazing. So well decorated that you feel like your stay in the grandest hotel but for half the price. Location is great as it's just on th edge of the old city so easy enough to walk in and see the temples but also not too far away from the night markets. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Chiang mai

1. Very professional service attitude with polite manners. 2. Staff can not speak Chinese but can speak great English. 3. The suite room was great and clean. 4. Breakfast was simple but had nice and family atmosphere. 5. Great location, 1 min to Herb Basics (local famous brand) and 5 mins to Gate Tha Phae with delicious dishes along the street. 6. The swimming pool is too small. 7. The hotel was in the lane, which made it slightly difficult for uber/grab drivers to find it.

Clean, comtemporary design and New!”
I stayed in De Chai in Jan 2018. It was good, good service in front office and esp the cafe. The waiters are very accommodating.. Price wise a little high for this Location but it's ok ... not very central but manageable with tuk tuk. My personal preferences is always new hotel and if location is about 15 mins away from central of all activities... its fine by me. Some hotels really need to refurbish eventhough there are pnly 7-10 years old. I would likely recommend this hote De Chai. Will go again .

better than the Shangri La. no kids thank god. its a adult only hotel , breakfast was awesome. In Thailand , they immediately put a stop to loud kids. love it! kids dont belong in Chiang Mai as its a romantic or soul searching city . i would highly recommend this hotel . very very new and modern, hot water at the sink and soaker tub. staff pleasant and spoke english and helpful. quiet place not for partying and very romantic. not catered to Chinese so i give this place 6 stars!

clean and strategic location hotel”
we booked the two bedrooms room. it is not big as our expectation, there is only a toilet together with the shower which we don't expect. so it take a bit time when every one freshen up after a hot day. the breakfast provided was good enough and quite a variety. the hotel staff are friendly ,helpful and honest. I'm actually forgot my iPad when check out, and the staff return it to me when we waiting for our car to airport. wonderful time we have in Chiang mai and this hotel.

Very nice, comfortable boutique hotel nestled in downtown Chiang mai. In quiet street not far from Thapae gate. Room was comfortable and clean, with excellent bathroom. Lighting in bathroom was dim and could be improved. Nice breakfast with good egg station and friendly staff. All staff were professional and helpful. Pool is quite small and only four loungers so get there early if you want a seat.

My family and I had an enjoyable stay at De Chai. We booked the double room with pool view. The room and hotel surroundings was clean and well furnished. Beds and pillows were great. The location is also very convenient. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Pool was clean.

Great location, and fantastic value for money”
The location was close to popular attractions and great restaurants and bars. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast food was delicious. Large spacious clean bathroom with separate tub and shower, great water pressure. I would stay here again on my next trip to Chiang Mai. Room was clean, but don’t leave food out or little ants come out, that was the only downside to our stay. Otherwise fantastic.

The hotel is amazing! So clean and cozy, the rooms are spacious amd beautiful! Love the suite bathroom on 5 floor with pool villa that seems a dream! The employees are the best in Chiang Mai and help in everything we and our little daughter need! Hope to see them again!

A new De chai hotel in great location. Having stayed at De chat Colonial a few times previously was keen to stay in this hotel just one soi away. I found the deco context of this hotel really jarring in thai Lanna location and context. Facade of hotel so uninviting and heat attaching in hot climate. Rooms looked good but finishes lacking. Found vinyl covered chairs and cushions so wrong in hot environment for comfort or design. Stayed 3 nights... water pump on my floor failed day 2 so temporarily moved to another room which then had no hot water but no refund offered for these inconviences. Only compensation offered was taxi ride to airport. Staff were friendly and breakfast good but overall very disappointed in this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel from Feb. 14-18, 2018. During my stay in Chiangmai, my family and I failed to join a one-day tour because of the negligence of our travel agent. However, the staff members of the hotel provided us with great help and the problem was solved smoothly. Special thanks to one of the staff members whose name is Nan. Thanks for her warm help and considerateness that left us with nice memories of Chiangmai. In fact, all the staff members have been amiable and helpful. And the location is also excellent, just a few minutes walk to Thae Phae Gate. I would definitely recommend this hotel to families and friends. 此次是第三次前往清迈，在Agoda选择了这家酒店。酒店地理位置极好，走出巷子对面就是Herb Basics，右转走几分钟是清迈第一平价商场，左转几分钟就是塔佩门，路口就是711，周边吃饭交通都十分方便。 住宿期间因为景点失误有一天一日游未能成行，在酒店前台工作人员的热情帮助下妥善解决了问题，要十分感谢这位名叫Nan的女士。其实酒店所有工作人员都十分热情，也很积极地向住客给予帮助，让我再次感受到了清迈人的朴实善良。下次去还会选择入住这家酒店。
