Superb views and friendly staff”

​​​Arrived the resort after midnight, staff were very friendly and helpful. Our second time at Diamond Cliff, room was very nice, large and clean with beautiful sea view. The breakfast was very good indeed, plenty of choice. The resort has 3 swimming pools, we prefer the pool at the Grandwing and enjoyed pool side snacks & drinks , water falls , water slide etc. We stayed room 2506 with beautiful pool & sea view and I would like to recommend to stay high floor of Grandwing building. The hotel has good location in a quiet area of north end of Patong, just only 5 minutes walk to Patong beach. Shuttle to Phuket town and Bangla road is free but limited seats available , so , have to book in advance. For me, everything was great beyond my expectations regarding to bad reviews I found and would definitely come back here again. By the way we stayed Ocean Suite and highly recommend for those who like great views.​

A place to go back to! ”

We has the most amazing holiday at Diamond Cliff. The resort is magnificent, the rooms are beautiful with excellent finishes and the location is perfect. It’s quiet and peaceful in the resort, just 2 minutes walk from Patong beach and shops. There are tuktuks and taxis right outside the hotel, 200bht anywhere in Patong. The shuttle up to the rooms runs every 5 minutes and breakfast is worth including in the room price. The staff were lovely, we spent a few days touring and enjoyed a few days off just relaxing at the hotel. The pools are beautiful, I highly recommend this for families with kids.

Great hotel and great value for money”

The staff is excellent, went an extra mile to accommodate us. The health clinic is worth a mention, my 3 year-old son was a little sick and we went to the clinic for a free check-up. The room was luxurious and spacious (ours was a diamond suite), and was a great place for our son to play around while in the room. As for the location, I thought it sits nicely and aesthetically on a cliff and rather safe (think tsunami danger that struck this part of Phuket in 2004). Finding restaurants outside the hotel is not difficult either, it only requires 5 minutes walking along the coast. However, some sections of the road (1-2 minutes distance) might be a bit dangerous, as the sidewalk was mostly occupied by parking motorbikes, so children need extra caution from their parents while walking along the dangerous section. On a different note, on the swimming pool, our family loves the slides and the occasional rubber boats as the facility of the hotel. Overall, we had an excellent time staying at Diamond Cliff.

Great hotel”

It's so great! What a pity that I cannot stay long at Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa. Most of my time in Phuket, I was in islands and just back to city one day then I flew back to my country. The resort is quite big & peaceful. My room is next to small waterfall and has sea view. It's really great place for us to enjoy and feel that we are back to nature :) The food is good & they offer wide range of food. They have many kinds of restaurant such as Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Thai restaurants.

Staff are fantastic”

Best resort ever, the staff are amazing, and are amazing with children. They made our stay a memory we will have forever. My kids love the staff and the daily visits to the lobby for their good morning. Breakfast is delicious, pooks are great. Over all the best resort in Patong Phuket amd that would be why we have been back 7 times to the diamond cliff. We are looking forward to our return to make it our 8th. Had a bsll. Thankyou for making our stay a great one diamond cliff.

This is my fifth stay at the Diamond Cliff Resort Phuket and can’t recommend it highly enough The resort staff and grounds are excellent The staff bend over backwards to make sure you are truly satisfied with your stay The rooms all face the ocean and are massive The pools are huge and well located The breakfast buffet is plentiful and the egg station is a must Can’t say enough about this resort Do yourself a favour Stay at this resort and you’ll feel like you’ve had a real holiday Enjoy

Absolutely stunning resort!”

My mom and I checked out of this resort yesterday. What an amazing 10 day stay we had at this resort. Staff went out of their way from day 1 to make us feel like royalty. Pools are magnificent, enough space and loungers. Restaraunt food was a little pricey but the best quality food we ate the entire trip. The shuttle to take you to the higher level rooms was constantly running and we never had to wait longer than 3 minutes for a lift. The only negative was that the shuttle to Jungceylon mall was permanently booked up so we couldn't make use of that facility. The resort is located around 2km from Bangla road and this distance was perfect. An easy 20 min walk and far enough away from the madness of main streets in Patong. Thank you Diamond Cliff and superb staff for a very memorable stay. I will recommend you to everyone I know!

Dimond Cliff Resort and Spa”

Since arriving at the Diamond Cliff resort and spa Phuket. The staff has been very welcoming and the place is very clean. The view of the bay is very spectacular and beautiful. It’s Patong Beach is just a 15 minute walk away. The beach is very beautiful as well.

Beautiful resort with some quirks”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Diamond Cliff Resort. The resort itself is lovely, and there is a great little beach right across the street. The snorkeling was amazing. They also have a great breakfast buffet. But there are some drawbacks. The units are on a very steep hill with many stairs, even if you use the frequent shuttle. Also, strangely for a five-star resort, they do not provide soap in the bathrooms and are very stingy with the toilet paper!! We had to use the public facilities after running out of toilet paper twice in our six-day stay. They only provide one small roll per day! And I have never stayed at a resort/hotel that didn't provide soap!

Very Pleasant Stay”

Overall i enjoyed my 7 days at the resort (DCR). The room was excellent with a good sized balcony and a view of Patong Bay (Room 1832 for those interested). The on-site Japanese restaurant was slightly expensive but everything was fresh and well presented by the attentive staff - the yellowtail sashimi was excellent. There are other on-site restaurants including Thai, Korean and Italian if you don't want to go into Patong itself. My only complaint would be the price of the massage at the Diamond Spa - 2900Baht for 90mins aromatherapy is expensive. I would also advise that if you do not like sleeping on hard mattresses that you request a top mattress which will soften things and make sleeping a lot more comfortable. Guests should be aware that the resort is cut into the side of a mountain and to get to your room involves walking down/up some steep hills (usually there is a golfers style car to transport you if you only wait a few minutes outside your accommodation or the reception). Personally i found DCR and it's location was perfect - close enough to walk into Patong but far enough away not to be disturbed by any noise. It was only five minutes walk to the northern end of Patong Beach and about another 20 minutes walk to Jongceylon Mall with its many restaurants, bars and shops (including cinema and bowling).

Thank you Diamond Cliff for a wonderful trip, we have just returned. Your service was fabulous and especially loved your guest room for late check outs. Appreciated greatly your facilities available. Pools were fabulous. Location not too far from Patong, walking distance and the free shuttle was great, however the only thing I would change is that they should run hourly as only fit 10 people and book up fast and no return trip available however only 200 BAHT for a tut tut. Amazing hotel with fantastic views ”

Diamond Cliff is a must. Amazing rooms with a fantstic view of the beaches from your private indoor spa. Three different pools with slides, games and swim up bar. This Resort is just 20 minutes walk out of the hectic Patong with free shuttle bus services. Friendly staff is always a bonus as well.

Stunning room with amazing view and great pools”

Had problems at our first hotel and ended up coming here earlier than planned, we originally only booked for our last 4 nights but checked in 5 days early in the super delux room. We were on floor 15, I think it's a newer wing compared to where the junior sweets are (were upgraded there but declined as was further away and old dusty rooms). Our room had amazing view, comfy beds, more than enough space and nice, modern bathrooms. Couldn't ask for better pools either! Nice big and clean. Swim up bar is good, especially during 2 for 1 happy hour, although only 1 person working most of the time so it's a bit slow. Walking distance into patong. Found most amazing little street restaurant just outside of the Graceland hotel on the beach front called "mr Rambos". Big dinner with drinks and entree wouldn't cost more than 500baht for 2. Great staff ate dinner there 7/9 nights! Will definitely be returning to diamond cliff! Wouldn't even consider anywhere else

huge room, great service”

i stayed in diamond clff for 3 nights with my bf. i really satisfied with their service except the fact that they don't provide airport shuttle. i stayed in ocean suite room with jacuzzi inside the room, as it is one among the most expensive room, i expect them to at least provide us with free shuttle. but they said they don't have such service. but overall i am really happy with their staff services. coz the room is far away from the front office, they will provide u with the shuttle to the room. diamond cliff also provide u with private beach service, i recommend u to definitely ask about this program in the front desk. they will take u to other part of patong beach with few people over there.

Very friendly and professional ”

The stand out comment I have about Diamond Cliff is how wonderfully friendly and kind the staff were. My husband and I came with our 11 month old baby, slightly anxious about how easy it would be to enjoy our time there and how practical the whole thing would be. The staff were so sweet and sociable with our baby, it made us feel very relaxed and welcome. The facilities for kids is great- a fun pool and an adult pool that kids can still use no problem. There is also a great little kids playroom should you wish to get out from the heat, it's air conditioned and supervised. There's also a great connection to babysitting service that we used a couple of times when we wanted some alone time out with our friends. Breakfast was superb, more choice than you can imagine and great egg station! Dinner is nice, though service a little slow at times. My only con would be that it can be a bit difficult to get around with a pushchair if you're at the upper end of the resort, lots of stairs!

Beautiful rooms, nice service, on a hill with a nice view”

We loved our vacation at the Diamond Cliff resort. The kids enjoyed the big pool with the slide. The room was spacious with a very nice bathroom. Enough space for everyone. The garden is beautiful too. The hotel is on a hill. There are shuttles to bring you up and down. It is quite a walk to the beach (and especially back up the hill). We rented a car though, which was very convenient for this location.

everything was amazing throughout our stay. we have stayed at diamond cliff before and probably always will when going to phuket. the service is amazing, the location perfect (the quieter end of patong). the staff are always so pleasant and willing to help with anything and the pools are also perfect- with a swim up bar. no complaints at all.

Amazing !!!!”

I stayed in a delux suite when at diamond cliff and it was great. There were 2 of us sharing a room and it was extremely spacious . The food was great and staff very friendly. I had been to Thailand a few times prior and had always wanted to stay at diamond cliff, I'm glad I finally did. They have 3 pools, plenty of pool chairs and one pool across the road looking at the beach. They also have a shuttle bus that will take you to paradise beach daily. There was nothing tha staff wouldn't do for you, I highly reccommend this hotel.

Beautiful resort with two pools & kids' playroom”

We absolutely loved our stay at Diamond Cliff. The tree-lined pathways are very well-maintained and the flowers were in full bloom. You can see far out into the sea from the roof above the breakfast area. Every member of the staff that we encountered were friendly... from the security guard to the breakfast manager and the staff that led us to our room. Special thanks to the gardener who helped us retrieve our clothing that fell on the bushes over our balcony. The breakfast buffet was excellent and we enjoyed our conversations with the breakfast manager who greeted us every morning. One tip: Any service that requires staff to come to the room, can be very slow. Sometimes, we weren't even sure if they were coming. For example, our bags took over an hour to arrive at our rooms. When we needed help with our clothing that fell over the balcony, nobody came even after we had called. We are thus, very grateful for the gardener we managed to call over to help.

Large resort with many features”

i crashed my scooter just before i was due to check in to the diamond cliff resort. i was mostly stuck in my room after that and couldn't move around the resort as easily as i would have liked. however, the staff were excellent, and being a hilly resort there are buggies pulling up out the front of the lobby all the time and they will run you around wherever you want to go in the resort. there was always a good place to park my scooter and security guards that would watch over it. the room i had didn't have that great a view but if you get an ocean front room i dare say that it would have.
