Definitely a good place to stay but not centrally located to everything”

I was very happy and satisfied with my stay in Don Muang Hotel. I had a late arrival from Don Mueang International Airport, good thing that I decided to booked my 1 night stay here! The room was huge with balcony, new and very clean. (room was really well maintained, also the hotel itself) . Staff was nice and helpful too. I had complimentary breakfast which was really delicious, especially the sticky rice with chicken skewers! The only downside was it is far from the center and not connected to the BTS, you need a Grab or Taxi in order to go somewhere but totally would recommend this place if you have a flight in or out to/from Don Mueang International Airport. More power, keep up the good work. Thanks alot! Believe me, you won't regret it! ✌

Clean and very practical”

Getting to the Don Muang Hotel can be a bit confusing. From the airport indeed follow the instructions to Amari Hotel. There just flag down a taxi cab (red light on windshield), ask to run on meter and the fare to Don Muang Hotel can be less than 40 baht. Much quicker than trying to call the hotel shuttle. Some taxi's might refuse to run the meter and we paid 100 baht the first time and we learned. We stayed in the annex building, room was spotless, efficient aircon that was quiet, plenty of warm water in shower and excellent bedding. Our only problem was the smell of nicotine in the room, we were offered another room but were too tired to move after midnight. Breakfast is continental, o.k. with that as it is budget price hotel. Excellent cleaning staff and breakfast aid. Location is good, maybe 20 minute walk to trainstation/airport. Other direction about 30 minutes to local market and supermarket Tops. Many eateries and coffee shops nearby. Quiet neighborhood.

Convenient hotel close to Don Mueang aiport”

Used this hotel several times when catching flights to and from Don Mueang airport. Staff are extremely helpful and communicate well, able to organise pickups and dropoffs to and from airport. Another plus is that they also have onsite parking and allowed me to leave car there several days for small fee. Room is small and cosy. Has international wall sockets which are handy for plugging in appliances with different power fittings. Only small complaint is being woken up early in the morning by people leaving for early morning transfers to the airport.

Convenient, clean, great family room options”

Very close to the don mueang airport with option for the free shuttle transfer to BKK. Walking distance to 2 seven elevens. Delicious cheap restaurant right outside. Simple but clean rooms. Staff were very helpful in getting taxis and giving general suggestions. They seem to really care about their guests. Loved the bunk bed + double bed room. Great affordable option for families with kids passing through Bangkok. We had one day there and took the kids to the Dusit Zoo which far exceeded our expectations! Half an hour away with the taxi arranged by the hotel.

Transit hotel at Don Muang”

My second time staying here as I arrived at midnight at Don Muang. It is a good 10-15mins walk from international arrivals. If you have luggage, you will need bring it down stairs of an overhead bridge. Rooms are small but adequate. Breakfast is simple enough. Shuttle van to Don Muang is 35B which is reasonable and has fixed departures in the morning hours only.

Great”

The staff can speak english and even i heard them speak chinese as well... maybe they are able to speak many language. Room very clean and very close to the airport. They have van to Don Muang, 35 baht per person, leave since 4 am (per hour). Breakfast is great, i really love their pork and sticky rice. All is great. Thanks. If i visit Bangkok again will stay here.

We booked a modern twin room. Clean & quiet room. Affordable. The location is near a convenience store and places to eat however it's a bit far from tourist spots like the Grand Palace. But it's near Don Mueang International Airport.

Great no frills hotel”

Great room, comfy bed, hot shower, TV, AC. No elevators (lifts). Location is perfect for travelers flying in/out of Don Mueang International Airport. They offer an airport shuttle for 30 Baht/person. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Good value and good location”

A good location very close to Don Muang airport that I will use whenever I need to stay over a night between flights. The room was clean, large and with good TV and internet. The staff were very helpful , they looked after my luggage while I went to Seoul for three days for free, and the breakfast was basic but nice . I would recommend this hotel for a stopover of one or two nights.

Perfect stopover spot”

If you are travelling in Thailand and next to find a hotel close to Don Muang Airport then this is hard to go past. Rooms are basic, but clean and the hotel offers a basic breakfast and cheap airport transfer from as early as 5am. This is the third time I've stayed here and will be the go to for every trip going forward.

Ideal hotel for transit flight passenger”

The room is good enough for us as a transit passengers as the location close to Don Mueang airport. The breakfast was good too. The hotel offer shuttle service to Don Mueang airport for THB35. Hotel is value for money.

Convenient place for early morning flight”

The evening check-in staff were friendly and efficient. My room was clean and quiet. I easily arranged a 35 baht shuttle to the airport for 4am. I would be nit-picky to find faults in this decent budget hotel. The lack of an elevator in the second building I was in might be a problem for some, but I knew that when I booked it. There was a strangely-placed step that I stumbled down every time I entered the bathroom. I was offered breakfast at 3:40! Although most people wouldn't feel like eating at that time, I appreciated the offer as in a lot of hotels, you just miss the free breakfast it you leave early. The shuttle left at 03:55 and not 04:00, so be aware if you are a last-minute person! The only problem I had was getting there. I was coming from Mo Chit and the first taxi driver said he didn't know it, so didn't seem keen to take me. The second driver couldn't find it and stopped at the Don Muang Amari hotel despite having the address in Thai. He had to ask about 3-4 people.

Beautifully clean and convenient to airport ”

A very clean, well located hotel with helpful staff. The hardest part was the zigzag taxi ride to get there. Now we know the location very easy to walk from the airport. Also a really good indoor market on the to stock up with fruit and veg. Very well located for Don Muang train station as well. Be careful though as trains seem to come in in different platforms to what the timetable states.

Great airporthotel against great rates”

A hotel that does what it pretends. An airport hotel with convenient shuttle service ,clean comfortable rooms. Hotel situated in a neighbourhood. To get there just walk from Don Muang or take a taxi. If you order in advance they can pick you up for an extra fee. Shuttle TO airport is 35 THB.

Perfect Airport Hotel ”

This hotel is perfect if you have to catch an early morning flight from Don Mueang Airport. Check in after dinner is perfect. They provide a shuttle service to the airport and breakfast starts at 0400! WiFi is fast. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable.

Very Nice For Transit Purpose”

Great for transit. Super clean rooms. Our group pre-booked 2 Mini-van at minimal additional cost and they will reach the arrival area between gate 11 and 12 in 10 minutes time after you let them know you are already at the meeting point. Very helpful staff. Simple breakfast was provided and it was enough for a day starter. The pantry near the lobby offers free 24 hours self service drinks (hot chocolate, coffee, tea) with simple snacks. Near don Muang Hotel and one of the best transit place for you to overnight if you plan to go to other Tha cities (e.g.. Hua Hin , Khao Yai, Pattaya the very next day)

Great hotel to stay”

Hotel is well within the proximity of the Don Mueang Airport. Great hotel to stay and friendly staff. Hotel offers breakfast, although simple but yet it is able to keep you full. Room is clean and reasonably spacious. Will return back again.

3 Hotels in 1”

There are 3 different properties(that I know of) within a block of each other that are under the management of Don Muang Hotel. The eponymous main hotel where reception is located, the Thipay Mansion across the street and an newer auxiliary hotel building a block away from the older 2. I stayed at the Mansion and the newer building. The Mansion is a very basic room with bed, Tv, and the combined shower/bathroom-your shower spray will soak your toilet- that budget travellers in Thailand know so well. It reminded me of a bare bones European pensione-a box with a bed. The AC was ok and there was a strange mini balcony that opened out onto the back of an empty space about 18" from the back of another building-I would never open this door or use the sooty balcony. For its obvious signs of usage, it was clean. Cleaner was the room I stayed in at the newer hotel a block from reception. New white floors, decent wifi, fresh paint, better bathroom. Pay the extra $5 for this Deluxe room. Ok stay

Very good service”

I always check in this hotel whenever I have earlier flight to catch in Don Muang. A bit far, suggested to take a cab for the 1st time, so you will know where is the exact location is. They provide the transportation to airport in the morning which is very convenient. Room is big, breakfast is fantastic!!

Will Stay Again”

Very happy that we discovered such a great place close to the DM airport. Good price. Incredibly convenient to airport. Makes using the LCC Don Muang airport easier. Simple rooms, friendly staff, great price. We we’ll definitely use again.
