Great Location on the Beach with great rooms”

We stay every year in Hua Hin and then go to somewhere else in Thailand. This year we went to Samui which involved going to Bangkok and then flying to Samui. When one part of our family went home we returned to Hua Hin to meet up with our younger son and his girlfriend. We picked out the Dusit Thani. The Hotel and staff were great. Very large pool area and pool, a grassed quiet area and right on the beach for those liking sand. We have been visiting Hua Hin for 15 years but had never visited the area where Dusit Thani was situated. I wish we had because if we had known what the Dusit Thani was like we would not have trekked down to Samui. Wonderful hotel and very friendly and helpful staff and as I say only 10 minutes to the hustle and bustle of Hua Hin town and all its different restaurants.

Adjoining Rooms”

I arrived early afternoon and was dropped off by my girlfriend, she had an errand to run for work. The staff was very nice about an early check in for me arranged adjoining rooms for the 4 days. The room was very spacious and well appointed for 2 people though my girlfriend and her sister were staying next door. The bath was big enough for me though for 2 people it might be a bit small. The grounds are huge, 2 pools, one freshwater and the other salfwater with a kiddie section. A lagoon between the pool and the condo's. The beach is quite shallow to be expected along this coast but, adequate. The meal prices are double and triple what you can find in Hua Hin. After trying one restaurant in the Night Market, It was almost not worth driving to the night market. The quality of the food at Rim Talay or the Restaurant is quite good. My Thai girlfriend enjoyed the food at both though she balked at the prices. Through the course of the 4 days there, I realized I was right, that you really did not have to leave the property to eat good food. The staff easily took care of my girlfriends check in later in the first day. Though she got to know the price of the rooms compared to what I paid for it. haha Dusit Thani Hua Hin is a very nice "Resort"

Excellent services trumped everything ”

family vacation was our regular tradition during summer time. i chose dusit hua hin because i want to try different hotel after i had tried and got impressed with cape nidhra and intercontinental hua hin before. dusit was probably among the oldest hotel/resort in this area (other would be centara hua hin). hotel buildings were built in colonial style with thai style decoration. lobby was awesome, huge with nice interior. staffs were superb at their services. check-in/check-out was fast and flawless. front desk recognized my reserve promptly and direct me to the rooms. i could really not find any hotel in hua hin that can match dusit's service, even several other 5-stars hotels that i previously stayed. the breakfast here was perfect. so many varieties to choose and 'all' were delicious. i can say this hotel had the best breakfast in hua hin by far. few minus i can mention here, room decorations were quite old and dark. the amenities here could not match those of cape nidhra and intercontinental. tv was crt, not lcd/led and remote was difficult to use, sometimes did not respond at all. lighting switches were so complex and not centralized. i also think lighting was not adequate, esp at night. i don't like room to be too dark. however, if you consider services and food to be your priorities, those dusit provided trumped everything, ... hands down.

Happy Stay at Dusit Thani Hua Hin”

my family and i spent 2 nights at dusit thani hua hin without needing to go out even. we can relax and have activities in the hotel which is really fulfilled our vacation trip and worth for money spent for the room rate paid through agoda. dusit thani hua hin has the best property; stunningly huge main swimming pool with separate warm jacuzzi pool, plus the other big salty swimming pool and private beach made us really enjoy swimming all day. food is great and the services are superb. our family had a nice time staying here and we will definitely go back to this place if we go to hua hin next time.

great luxury resort hotel”

I'm really happy I chose the Dusit Thani for my stay in Hua Hin. It's a beautiful property right on the beach with a huge, warm pool and newly renovated rooms. Everyone I encountered provided great service. The food was very good, both the extensive breakfast buffet and the a la carte meals I had. The beach was much better and cleaner than the beaches I saw close to the middle of Hua Hin. The grounds are nicely landscaped and the gym was well equipped and air conditioned. The lobby was impressive and a pleasant spot to hang out. I arrived before check in time and thought I'd have to wait, but they found a room for me and even upgraded me without charge. There is an hourly shuttle to town. All in all I found it to be a good value by Thai standards--and an outstanding value by international standards. I did think the breakfast buffet price was on the high side--better to include it in your prepaid reservation, I think you'll get a better deal on the breakfast that way.

Tranquil, Spacious and Friendly Staff”

On our WEEKDAY family vacation, there was an Indian wedding being held on our arrival. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the main pool as it was my priority to bring my parents to use this facility especially as we as a family always visit Dusit Thani, Hua Hin. After checking in, the front desk staff was not helpful in understanding our needs and as a weekday vacation, she did not agree to accept my request for an upgrade to a sea view. All staffs at the restaurant are exceptional. They are always friendly, helpful and go beyond their ability to serve as. Overall, we always enjoyed our stay. We never had any experience of restrictions to use the facilities. After being a loyal guest to Dusit Thani Hua-Hin and had this experience, I will explore other hotel options.

An amazing holiday”

The hotel was amazing. The position is 20 minutes out of Hua Hin and the hotel provides a shuttle service. Hua hin city is ok after a couple of trips into town I was happy to stay at the hotel. We upgraded to the club room and I highly recommend the club. An Amazing buffet breakfast is included in the club and food is offered all day - non alcoholic drinks from 10.30 am till 5.30pm everyday. 5.30pm till 7pm pre dinner drinks wine, champagne and Beer with an great selection of food. The rooms are large with a view of the pool and ocean. I recommend the Dusit Thani for a luxury holiday.

Fantastic hotel”

We only stayed at the Dusit in Hua Hin for 1 night as a "pit stop" as we drove from Khao Lak to Rayong, we wished we had stayed for longer though as the hotel complex is so large and beautifully decorated, we hardly saw any off it!! We were greeted by very friendly and professional staff upon check-in, who were also very courteous and efficient upon check-out. We went into Hua Hin town for the evening but before and after we went into the hotel bar were we received fantastic service and they have very good musicians playing inside, they also serve nice little canapés with your drinks and a selection of luxury nuts which went down a treat!! One thing i must mention is the breakfast; we were on the room only rate so we paid for breakfast in the morning which was 600 Baht. Some people may think that this is a little expensive for breakfast, but trust me, it is worth every penny. The selection of items available is fantastic, having stayed in many 5* hotels, i can quite safely say that this breakfast was the best that i have seen. I would love to list the items for you but it would take me all day. So; i recommend that you go and stay at this fantastic hotel yourself and experience true Thai hospitality!!!!

Does justice to the Land of Smiles”

The most important caveat I have on this hotel, and the only thing I wasn't crazy about during our stay there, is the beach. It's not too clean and the sand is not as pristine. HOWEVER, the hotel makes up for it big time with a grand pool, which makes Dusit Thani Hua Hin a great getaway anyway. We loved our room. It was the right size with all the right touches of Thai culture. Our room was overlooking the pool, which is simply beautiful both at day and night. But our favorite part of the room was the bath, romantic and spacious, with a separate tub and shower, and a wide window that opens up to the room. Service is everything you'd expect of a top hotel. The staff is friendly and attentive, which is a huge thing when you're traveling to de-stress. Overall, Dusit Hua Hin is widely recommended, but make sure that you stay there to enjoy all the facilities that the hotel has to over, and not just as a place you'll sleep at after a day of touring around. Hua Hin is a charming place, so make sure you get to explore, but make sure to also set aside a day or two to just splash out at Dusit

December in Hua Hin”

I chose the Dusit Hua Hin by chance, just picked what sounded nice from the Agoda Web site but was so pleasently surprised from the moment I arrived that I did not want to leave. I came for 3 days and stayed another 2 because it was so good. I am planning to come back again with lot's of family this time. I have already recconmended the hotel to my brother's family, my sister's family and for us all to get together at the Dusit Hua Hin. I have also asked not to mention it to too many people because a secret like Dusit Hua Hin should be kept a secret so that you can come back year after year and hope that it only gets better.

Nice view and lovely beach scenery”

The night I stayed, I had a special mocktail drink, which was very good, called Songkran Special drink. I enjoyed that evening by sitting at the bar area and had a little girl talk, then my sister and I went to bed. Before leaving the hotel, we walked along the beach and passed by the pool.We quite enjoyed strolling because that day was the hottest day in Thailand. We decided not to swim, we had afternoon tea instead. The tea set was quite good and we were full and could not finish it. I think the highlight of the hotel are two chandeliers. I remembered taking pictures since we arrived the hotel and I am so stunned by how big they are. Overall, my sister and I enjoyed while staying at the Dusit Thani Hua Hin very much.

Very nice hotel, nice pool and good food”

I have been there so many times already. Almost every time I go to Hua Hin, I would stay at Dusit Thani. I love the buffet breakfast, and I also love the free snack and drinks on the seventh floor. There are 2 pools to choose from, one chlorinated and the other one is disinfected with salt. We do not like chlorine and so we picked the salt one. The beach is nice anc clean. All in all, it is a great hotel. What can I say, I am there almost every time I visit Hua Hin. That says a lot about how much I like the hotel!

Great hotel with beautiful swimming pool”

we very enjoy staying in dusit thani hua hin hotel, very beautiful and big hotel, the swimming pool is very big and we all very enjoy swimming there, the breakfast have many choice with good view. it takes about 10-15 minutes by hotel shuttle bus to the town from the hotel, hotel shuttle departs every hour from 10:00 hrs and costs thb 50 each. we all very enjoy staying in dusit thani hua hin hotel.

Grand, and lovely”

stayed for 3nights at the end of may. i decided to treat myself to a 5star and i was well impressed. stayed in the superior room, nicely sized with a clean white bathroom. had a balcony with an amazing view of the pool and sea, and at night it was enchanting. rented a motorbike 200-300bht a day. about 10-15min from the main town of hua hin. not so bad as i thought, and actually enjoyed the ride. huge pool and very relaxing. very nice interiors and felt appreciated by the hotel staff. hua hin is a lovely place and so it dusit thani! i miss you!

Great deal , gool place”

although location of dusit beachfront is close to cha-am more than hua hin, it is not too far from hua hin. comparing with the beachfront hotel at hua hin, at dusit, i feel more comfortable and more private. welcome drink is tasty, fitness and spa is awesome. hoteliers are nice and willing to help.

Wonderful family holiday”

This is a great place to relax. Our first time staying with Dusit Thani and also first time in Hua Hin. We stayed in the Dusit Club Rooms; have access to the executive lounge that provides variety of snacks, fruits and drinks; had 2 connecting rooms - spacious; very clean; well maintained; good wifi, good view of the sea and the lake. Enjoyed the large swimming pool and the view of long beaches by the Gulf of Thailand. We also enjoyed the sport and spa facilities - well maintained. Shuttle service to town from the hotel operates at an hourly interval. Friendliness of staff, services and quality of foods including choices are excellent. Looking forward to come back again.

Very good service and helpful staffs”

Hotel is between Huahin and Chaam beach. Not so far from the city and can easy access to travel spot in Hua hin. Hotel provide the Bus to city but it start from 10:00 am. The hotel's facilities is good. There are many activities for family. My kids're very enjoy the horse riding very much even we did not prepare in advance. The staffs are very good and give good care for our kids. Only minor concern that the bathroom has some smell. If this could be fixed, it would be great. Definitely, we will go back to stay in Dusit Thani.

Dusit Thani Hua Hin”

Hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The amenities on offer eg safe in the room, beach towels,toiletries, bedding were all excellent quality. Staff were very attentive and genuinely helpful and friendly. We were allowed a 4pm checkout on the day we left which was very helpful. The beach was good but perhaps could be cleaned each morning. I have not stayed in Hua Hin before therefore cannot compare the various hotels, but I would certainly recommend the Dusit Thani and will certainly stay again.

Real noble 5 star hotel”

Dusit Thani Hua Hin is definitely a real real 5* hotel. Its grandeur, its design and the services provided - up to the marks! We really enjoyed it. But - it takes you a 20 minutes ride downtown Hua Hin. Yes, bus shuttle service is provided by the hotel. Better choice is a car or - if you dare to ride - a scooter.
