Great hospitality, Clean rooms & Excellent bed”

Stayed for the first night in Khao Yai, didn't regret a single bit, my hubby & I were greeted warmly by the staffs once we alighted from the car. The check-in process was a breeze and they had a buggy to escort us to our room with our baggage. The room was clean and brightly lit, one thing I have to say, the bed was AWESOME, softness was just nice and it gave me a great good night sleep. Breakfast was equally great, I love the variety, simple and easy. Need honey for your pancakes? Well, they have the whole piece of HONEYCOMB waiting for you. The perfect kind of vacation. As I'm writing this, I am already missing the congee. The only con will be the traveling distance as it is pretty far drive in. But nonetheless would definitely want to go back again if I am visiting Khao Yai again, hope it reminds the same!

Awesome hotel”

The front desk staff were very friendly & helpful. We felt really welcomed. The rooms are spacious & clean. The surrounding are just beautiful. Lots of greenery & places to walk around. They even have rabbits, silkie chickens & alpacas. We had so much fun & took tons of pictures just in the hotel alone. It is not too big a property so less crowded. We totally felt very relaxed & really enjoyed our stay in DusitD2. I definitely recommend it to everyone who’s going to Khao Yai.

Soothing and Relaxing Ambiance”

Cool November to January is the time to be here, for this period is the highlight of the Khao Yai region. A poolside bar descended into the water, had a mountain of the national park as her backdrop. 2 circular inviting in-pool seating area laden with pillows were soon taken up by a couple and a large group during dinner. I had my cold beer and enjoyed the selection YouTube mashups they played. My hot burger served, one of the better burgers I had in quite a while. Breakfast was decent, nothing basic of a good hotel was missing. But felt pain on wallet paying for it separately, not in package. There was Alpaca feeding and a rabbit pen for activities. Bicycles you can take free of charge to ride around. The bed rewarded me with a very good night of sleep, and the TV programs in this hotel was thankfully tuned for the international audience. No qualms about the room at all, trendy, well maintained and everything you will need.

BEDS!”

The bed was amazing! The most comfortable bed in all of Asia! The room was very nice. I loved the tub too. As a married couple we were okay with the open bathroom concept, but it could be a little weird for people who are not real close. There is a curtain that can close all the area up so it was fine. We honestly loved the hotel! If you do not have a car though it is very hard to get around Khao Yai in general. There are no taxis or vehicles for rent like most places in Thailand. We did not know this until we got there, but the hotel staff were amazing and helped us find a rental car. We used Koratcarrental.com. Jimmy was a life saver. Even though he is located over an hour away, he delivered the car to us (2500 Baht a day). If you plan renting a car before getting there it would be much cheaper. BUt with delievery service coming from so far away and really no other options, it was a deal. We would gladly stay at this hotel again! The facilities are awesome!

Pros: 1. Refreshingly unique welcome drink 2. Stunningly beautiful room with a huge bathtub in the middle. 3. Quiet location with beautiful landscape, ample privacy, perfect for honeymoon. 4. Attentive staff who were extremely friendly and efficient. Helped us get a private driver on the same day for a half day tour, with very reasonable price. 5. They have a beautiful salt pool, bicycles and mini petting zoo for alpacas and rabbit, how cool is that! 6. Location wise, the hotel is nearby key Khao Yai attractions like Primo, Thames and Palio. 7. Breakfast is wonderful too with selection of international and local cousine. Cons: I can't think of any. Would definitely return to this wonderful resort in future.

Exceptional”

Absolutely LOVED our stay here. We booked a room for two nights and enjoyed both nights very well. The staff here are all incredibly nice from the dining area manager, who was very attentative to the customers in the morning time during breakfast, to the guard in front who helped call us a cart to bring us to our room the minute we arrived to the parking lot. The front dest staff who checked us in (Nice) was an angel and always had a smile on his face and showed great etiquette with the costumers. The beds were amazing as well as the pillows. The only thing I wish were different about the hotel would have to be the location. It was a good 20 minute to 1/2 and hour ride away from the center of khao yai but at the same time I can't speak for others who may enjoy the fact that the hotel is far out in the middle of nature and away from the city. Over all enjoyed our stay here and will most definitely be coming back for another vacation trip.

it's a great retreat!”

Getting away from urban rush? This is definitely the place to satisfy that desire. Price of accommodation is reasonable coupled with fantastic service from the staffs. The nearest attraction is Khao yai national park entrance. The bath tub right in the middle of the room is unique. Really suitable for laid back couples.

Great New Resort in the Khao Yai region”

First time we've been to Khao Yai so we chose the new DusitD2 hotel. The hotel location is isolated as are most things in Khao Yai. There really isn't a central 'city' location. Definitely need a car in this area. The hotel is brand new so everything looks nice at the moment. Rooms are comfortable with big bed, nice bathroom with freestanding bath. Staff are friendly, pool is nice, breakfast is impressive with huge selection......

Excellent choice”

With spacious, clean rooms, a bed so comfortable it's like being nestled in the hood, safe hands of the deity of your choice and a surprisingly comprehensive breakfast considering you're in the heart of rural nowhere, the Dusit D2 Khao Yai is an excellent choice when visiting the park or, in our case, relatives that have not yet plumped for indoor plumbing. The staff were friendly and efficient and the general manager accessible, visible and engaging. We enjoyed the pool and will return often. Thanks for a great stay. Chris and family.

Great place to spend your time”

The hotel is a bit far from the center of Khao yai but worth to visit. Fresh air, tasty breakfast, well maintenance and friendly staff, I love all these things I mentioned above. Especially they gave a warm welcome to pet. I brought a kitten but no problem occured during my stay. My pet walked around and enjoyed. A yard behind the hotel is clean and spacious for my family activity. Biking is fun and your tree house is the best photo spot for instagrammer. I would love to revisit. Hope to see soon!

Very relaxing resort”

DusitD2 is a very nice and relaxing resort at Khao Yai and it was newly opened in 2016. I like the pool very much. As it was their winter, soaking in the water is extremely nice. Their breakfast variety is not much though. The room is clean and big. I love the bath area with big vanity top !!! Too bad bec of peak season i cant get the connecting room for me and my children. U definitely must need a car to get here and around KhaoYai. No regrets choosing this resort. You can catch the sunrise or sunset near the pool. I managed to take the beautiful sunrise at the pool and my room (was lucky to have this room) was staying Room 125 and 126 - tips for you :)....

The hotel is wonderful. internior design of the hotel is really gorgerous inside. everything is really perfect. one thing need to watch out is that when driving to the hotel at night, it is in side a small road. need to be extra careful while driving. it is closed to many khao yai famous restaurant (within 30 mins driving). BTW staff are friendly. hotel is gorgeous. many activitiy. swimming pool is pretty. worthy for picture.

Perfect Getaway”

This is the perfect spot for a getaway. Set a little off the beaten path, it felt like we had the mountains and the beauty of khao yai all to ourselves. The pool is amazing and the beds are the most comfortable I've experienced in SE Asia. It felt like sleeping on a cloud!

Exceptional”

The location and ambiance of the hotel are excellent. The room is huge with balcony & bathtub in the main bedroom. The staff is professional & helpful. We would like to come back to this hotel if we are back in Khao Yai.

Lovely hotel”

The Dusit D2 in Khao Yai is a lovely place to stay however staff do require a bit of training (the waitress in the bar insisted that Dusit Gold membership did not apply to drinks) and the breakfast really needs a complete review as it is not reflective of the standards that are expected at a Dusit property. The grounds are beautiful, however, the rooms equally so and K. Earth, the receptionist, a credit to the hotel.

Good hotel overall with great large swimming pool”

Very pleased with our visit. Huge swimming pool, good breakfast and comfortable bed. Location is a bit distant & private tranportation as in others Khao Yai resorts is a must. No stunning view from room, but the garden was beautiful and they had alot of different activities such as wall climbing, kayaking and alpacca & rabbit feeding. Nice bath tub in the middle of the room, but toilet only behind glass with door not to the top of roof, meaning noise and smell into bedroom. Very friendly staff but cleaning 7/10.

A great bunch of staff and service at its very best”

Going beyond the excellent service from the DusitD2 team. 1) We were alerted on the power failure at the holiday days before we arrive the holiday. Notified and expecting the electricity to be up and running by 5pm but the electricity in the region was still disrupted. Fans and room light was still operating so we stayed for a night and enjoyed the good ambience without electronics (TV/Phone) and connect to the nature and chit chat for the night. 2) Was hungry at night and we visited the restaurant at 1030pm. Restaurant was closed but they manage to still wipe out a good meal just to satisfy our tummy. That's the extra mile they would go and really appreciate the actions from them. 3) The next day we decided not to continue with DusitD2 as we need electricity to charge our phones so we requested to move out. The manager of the hotel quickly booked a high end hotel (Free of charge) for us and placed us at Atta Lakeside Resort within 10mins. The room in DusitD2 is a perfect getaway for couple. Most of the tourist was put on a new resort/hotel due to the electricity outage so we had a quiet stay and enjoyed the mountain view in our 1 day with DusitD2 . Thank you for the wonderful experience and service DusitD2 team. Will definitely recommend and visit it again =) Cheers!

Stunning place”

A gorgeous hotel in Khao Yai. Only stayed one night but would definitely stay again. Only slight negative would be the food/restaurant service but easily could have been an off day.

Birthday Getaway ”

The hotel is located quite far away from the tourist attractions, however the staff are really friendly and accommodating. It was my birthday and they had arranged a small cake for me which was really nice of them. The rooms are spacious but have some flies in the room and the unlimited mini bar u have to ask for as the housekeeper who makes up the room forgets to. The housekeeping also uses damaged pillow casing as the cases the thread was hanging down. As for the breakfast is very limited regarding the Asian meat dishes. The pool was very nice which my daughter enjoyed very much. Overall had a relaxing time and would go back again when passing Khao Yai.

NICE HOTEL WITH NICE WEATHER AND FACILITIES”

Very nice hotel, nice room and nice breakfast. Overall happy with the services and facilities of the hotel. Hotel a bit far in, i guess most of the hotel is the same in Khao Yai. You need to have own transport to move around. In my case, i rented a car from Airport, so no problem. Stay in End Nov, cold weather at night & early morning. Design of room is very chic with a bath tub in the middle of the room : ) Will recommend this hotel.
