A very enjoyable experience. Looking forward to come back.”
Pros: - Very friendly and helpful staff. From the front desk to the cleaner. - Good size shared room with single bed with lockers and shared bath room (outside). - Not too far from the Muang Mai fresh market (about 20 minutes walk). - Not much noise even though the property is next to a major road. - Nice sounds of nature during the day (birds) and night (frogs and grasshoppers) - Spacious shared community bath rooms with tiled showers. Outside the main dorm building but covered and build to a high standard. - Desk with a comfortable chair in the room. - Very good, speedy and stable WiFi. - Plenty of parking spaces for scooters, motorbikes and bicycles. - Very nice property with a lot of palm trees and green areas. Cons: - Relative far away from the old city. About 40 minutes walk one-way. I've stayed at the Eco Resort Chiang Mai for 2 nights from July 10th, 2016 to the 12th. The check-in went very well. A very nice lady at the front desk checked me in. She need to move a female guest from my room to another because the lady in the room didn't want to share with a male stranger :-). The process took about 10-15 minutes. The front desk lady showed her concern that I needed to wait so long but I assured her that I was happy to wait because I was not in a rush. I went to my room in the dorm building once she gave me the go-ahead. I found the room immediately and was pleasantly surprised. Nice single bed, desk with a comfortable chair, a large locker, large window. I've had two very good nights at the Eco Resort. At night the frogs and grasshoppers were creating nice ambient sounds which allowed me to sleep very good. The outside shared bathrooms are very nice, modern and build to a high standard. They get cleaned everyday and there is also daily room cleaning service. The cleaner was very friendly and polite and finished his job very quickly. I've thanked him enthusiastically. I've made use of the very nice desk with a comfortable chair, the locker and the very good

Totally lovely & well-designed”
my two friends and i had a shared room in the dormitory section. it was very affordable for such a lovely room. the amenities were shared, but we didn't mind as there was no inconvenience. the room was fully ac'd, and our beds made up each day. breakfast was included although it wasn't special. eco resort chiang mai is a little out of the immediate town, so you do need to get a song taeow or tuk tuk to get into the night market and old city - it looks walking distance on the maps but it really isn't. the gorgeous garden, the amazing pool and the shared areas all make up for the slight distance from cm proper. the staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us directions and acting promptly on any requests.we all agreed that we would totally reccommend any of our friends to stay here again.

Beautiful place nestled in lush landscaped garden”
Breakfast - nice; fruit, eggs, toast, hot dishes e.g. noodles, fried rice, fried vegetables, muesli, black tea, coffee, salad. Good selection for the price of the room Room - the one I had in the dorm was great - lots of light, simple, really clean nice white cotton bedding. Reaaaallly comfy bed. Simple decor but all you need. Chiang Mai has so much to offer you won't want to spend too much time here, but in a way you will be tempted because the surroundings are so lush, and you won't get much of that anywhere in Chiang Mai centre (inside the moat) for this price. Pool is really nice. Great to come back from a course and jump in the pool for a swim and a little bit of tanning : ) Vicnity - there is a massage place a few houses down, and food places around the corner (where Thai's pick up food) but there is also a restaurant at the hostel if you just fancy chilling in the rustic restaurant where you can sit outside and enjoy the garden. It is such a serene place, and the greenery is to die for, but Chiang Mai has a lot to offer so I'll probably move closer to town in about a week, so everything is on the doorstep Enjoy!

A great place to chill out !”
I booked this place for 4 nights after being told by an australian met in Malaysia and who stayed at Eco Resort for 2.5 weeks. The moment you step on the ground, you feel how quiet this place is. There is vegetation all around. And, when you walk towards the back, you almost drop dead when you see the amazing pool. They put me in a room in the dorm building just on the left of the reception. That room had 2 bunk beds. 2 guys were already there. It did not please me too much since the rooms are very very small and I had to occupy one of the upper beds. I went back to the reception and asked for another room but I kindly had to insist. I finally got a room in the back building, right by the pool. I really liked that room wich had a bunk bed. I repeat, the rooms are very small so I paid the extra to be alone. I could only do it for 3 nights since room was booked for the 4th night. On the fourth night, I had to move to the room next to mine and share my room with a guy who was already there for over 2 months. A big group of teenager invaded the place and from an oasis, the place turned into a summer camp. I decided then to leave for 2 nights until they were gone. The pool is awesome. The resort is super clean. The breakfast buffet is delicious but don't show up too late because the food gets cold. Coffee is very good as well. The immediate area does not have to much to offer as foodwise but walk to the main street on the left when you exit the resort and you'll find good restaurants with cheap food. Much cheaper than in old city. There is also a 7 Eleven. Wifi is good but often, you get disconnected. Works everywhere, even all around the pool. The staff is polite, friendly but limited english is spoken. Ironically, when I checked out, there was a seminar in the conference room in order to recruit english teachers for Thailand.

Amazing hotel, nice pool”
the eco resort is really nice - especially for the price you pay. not all the shared rooms are in bunk bed style, so you get a twin room for yourselves! the bathroom is nice and clean, the pool is big and good for relaxing. breakfast was ok, the meals are a little bit expensive, but you can eat outside the hotel. rooms have thin walls, so it can get a little bit noisy from time to time. internet worked fine and we had a great stay!

A calm place in a busy city”
The best thing with this place is the park surrounding the hostel/hotel. Birds and butterflies helps one's mind to calm down after many days in the city. Also the air quality is good here. The breakfast isn't great. They've also stopped serving cereal. Dry pancakes. Refilling takes forever. But for the price you pay at the hostel part of the resort, one can't complain. Beds are wide, even though they are bunk beds. Lovely light duvets and fresh sheets. The pool is one of the bigger hotel pools in Chiang Mai, probably 25 metres.

Booked 3 nights - stayed 5 more”
I LOVE eco resort. It's my favourite place i've ever stayed in. I originally booked 3 nights checked out. I sat having a coffee and decided to cancel my train ticket and stay nearly a week longer. I wish I could have stayed the month. It was beautiful, peaceful and majority of the staff are friendly and helpful. I stayed during low season too so it was extra quiet. I couldn't recommend this place enough and I can't wait to come back. I stayed in the Dorms at the front of the building for the first 3nights and then when I checked back in, I was at the back of the pool. I loved both buildings, they both have their own charm. Either way, you can't go wrong.

Greenery Location”
My 4th times staying at Eco Resort Chiangmai. (26-29/8/16) Services are good and now is low season less guests. The only problem is that the wall of the room is not sound proof. I can hear the next room voices when they are talking, taking a shower or flushing the toilet. On Sunday at 1.00am, some guests were talking loudly by the poolside and it disturb my sleep. I got up and asked them to lower their voices. ( I' ve been working in the hotel industries for more than 20 yrs from Shangri-la to Four Season) so I would give 7.5/10.00.

Beautiful setting and great pool”
This time when I stayed at Eco they sprayed for mosquitoes again, but they put up notices everywhere to warn people. Very good, I arranged to be somewhere else those two hours. Also, very good that they put up the sign for no smoking by the pool. Nice to be able to breathe. I will definitely come back to stay next time I'm in Chiang Mai.

Eco Resort Chiang Mai”
If you are looking for a peaceful, quite, greenary, a different experience from your daily life, with no appliance like TV and fridge, Eco resort could be your answer. The location of the resort is not in the center of Chiang Mai town, but is not that far either. If you plan to rent a vehicle while traveling then there is no problem. But if you dont, the location might take you some time to get there. The resort is newly renovate, a renovation from an old school with Thai - Tropical Style. There is a big swimming pool and excercise area for a longer style costumer. The over all atmosphere is nice, but since this resort is an adaptation, the room is not so comfy as I expected, a bit small, and no TV and Fridge, but look good though. The Food is kind of nah, compare to the same price rate, there are hotels that can provide you a better and more variety breakfast, anyway the staff was nice. My conclusion is gonna be, this resort is good for some certain lifestyle and taste, you might give them a shot.

Made My Trip!”
I love love love it here. I do not want to leave. Everything is perfect and I wouldn't have stayed so long in Chiang Mai if it wasn't for this place. The breakfast is lovely, the swimming pool is huge and clean and beautiful, the rooms are cute and cozy, the staff are sweet and helpful, and the whole place is set in a beautiful park like area with sitting areas, trees, lanterns, and flowers. 100% recommend it.

A little haven in Chiang Mai”
Imm Eco Resort is a great place to stay if you want to get away from the fumes and sounds of Chiang Mai but still stay close to the city centre. The hostel part of the Resort is well worth the money and the pool is lovely. On the negative side, I might have been bitten by bed bugs during my stay. But I'm not sure. The place seems very clean...

Great hotel on a good location”
the hotel located on a quiet location, not far from the main road (from which you can take one of the large tuk tuks to get to the centre of chiang mai for only baht per person), was a very nice one with a lot of vegetation and a pool. but beware of the mosquitos that start attacking at the dusk and later on and in the early morning (the hotel also offers eco repellents that are quite effective).

A pleasant stay at IMM ECO Hotel Chiang Mai”
My first and main comment about this hotel is its best value for money during this peak season of Songkarn festival where the whole Chiang Mai downtown area is noisy, hot and jammed with people and vehicles. This is a truly Eco hotel located in a quiet quarter with vast premises and lush tropical vegetation, including exotic trees and plants for westerners: Some of the trees even bear ripening fruits on their branches! The architecture is a mixture of colonial and Thai traditional style (wood, brick & roof tiles) but the room amenities are modern and efficient. After a hot and tiresome day wandering around the city and its surrounding countryside, it's a "cool" treat to plunge into the hotel's super-size swimming pool even a 5-star hotel could envy. Some minor cons should be noted: Due to its big garden with trees & ponds, mosquitoes will harass you at the outdoor area of the barn house restaurant & bar after sunset. Internet rate is relatively expensive compared with the nearby internet shops (60 v. 15 baht/hr).

Always a pleasure to return to this resort”
Khun Aoy, and Khun Parn always go out of their way to help me. They are both friendly, speak English well and professional. They are always happy to oblige if you have a problem and they will solve it for you. Thank you so much for having lovely staff members. As well as the other staff around the Resort they always remember you and greet you when you come back to Eco Resort.

Almost like a retreat - with a pool ”
Eco Resort is a bit away from the city centre, but it's nice to get away from the traffic and bustle. The air feels nice and you can hear birds and see butterflies in the surrounding park. If you crave the city it's only a 10 minutes bike ride away. Breakfast is included and the pool area is smoke free, which I appreciate very much. Will stay here again.

Amazingly relaxed hotel- cheap with a nice pool”
We arrived at Eco (tuktuks say echo) on the recommendation from another traveller. It did not disappoint. It feels like a health spa- lots of trees, ponds, statues etc and the pool is fantastic. The price was very good- not the cheapest in chiang mai but well worth the couple of extra pounds. Everyone we met there extended their stays including us- apparently the staff can sometimes be reluctant to let you stay longer but we never found it a problem. It is outside of the town- I would imagine a good 40min walk but tuktuks and songtheuw (?) go past frequently. Was between 20-50baht each. The breakfast isn't amazing and isn't replenished often so get there early and the wifi is a bit temperamental. Aside from that it is the nicest place that we have stayed so far and would recommend it to anyone.
