Nice staff Clean and nice rooms Beutiful resort, with good swimmingpool and pooltable. Nice bar and lounge. Quiet place for those who like that but still just 4 minute drive or 20 minute walk to lonley beach with clubs and party, so its a good place for everyone. Good price Great location

I really enjoyed my stay, the bed is super comfortable and the air conditioning and hot shower works well. The staff is really kind and friendly, especially the nice lady at the reception. The swimming pool is warm and maintained perfectly. Around is plenty of restaurant and bars, and at a couple of minutes from lonely beach.

They have a swimming pool with a nice view of the sea, badminton(?) court and a bar with pool table, football table and board games. You won't be bored there! The staff was really friendly.

This place was a gem! 10/10 would stay again. Nice staff lovely garden, nice location, nice food, reasonable prices. All in all i had a fantastic stay. i Stayed in three different rooms due to my lack of pre booking, and as so i tested all the variety. Just Lovely! Enjoy!

Not a lot of food options around the hotel. Need to bring food here for BBQ or picnic. Nice view. No blankets provided, only sheets. Parking limited to a few cars. Walkway to the rooms are not good for trolleys.

I saw many foreigners in this hotel. This hotel is closed the sea but can't swim because of the hard rocks under the sea. However, the hotel has a swimming pool service.

Bug nest”
We spent there 7 nights after being travelling Thailand for a month. It’s noth worth it. We expected clean room, fresh towels once per a while and toilette paper. Of you want all of this, you need to say it to a guy on a reception, after this he’ll send someone to “clean” up the room. The lady just threw away trash (included our personal stuff - some games, clothes and so on. She saw a bag on the floor and just threw it away. The guy on a reception promissed, he will take care of it and look, if there isnt something in the trash. He didnt do anything. Next day morning we needed to left and nobody was there, so we left without our stuff or a proper apology.), after the cleaning we didn’t even get a toilette paper. First night there i killed a cockroach in the bathroom (which has open space between roof and walls), every night we were fighting with lizards, ants and mosquitos in our room. The last thing pi**ed me off when they called a taxi to get us the last morning to the pier and the taxi never showed up. The price is really high for the low comfort.

When we talked when i made drinks for you or when you came for cleaning your room etc. everything was fine, you and your wife where verry happy, as you told me yourself (6 days). I never heard you telling me that you where fighting with lizards, ants and mosquitos every night. When you told me that the cleaning lady threw away a plastic bag with some games in it, i did apoligize for throwing away the plastic bag. You sad it was not really a big deal and you put the plastic bag next to the garbage bin and asked to clean the room that day (Last day). One tip i would like to give to you, please tell a hotel or resort the problem that you have when you are still there and not in a review after you left (almost one week) The hotel or resort can not solf your problem anymore and get a rate that is (maybe) not fair. Rooms have just bed and tiny table on one side. No chair or table or dresser. Narrow space on 3 sides of bed, don't expect more. Hot water alone costs 15 baht. But nice sunsets.

Great place”
I booked this place based on the reviews and because I had been disappointed with some expensive accommodation which had been oversold. You get exactly what is described at Elephant Bay. Small, clean rooms, basic but perfectly adequate. Hot water on demand, great pool, nice friendly bar and chill out area and reasonable food and drink prices. Very peaceful except the day one couple decided to play their music loudly at the pool -I'm ashamed to say English. I would be really happy to go back here.

Gu bay happy resort”
We extend our stay for whole week more since we simply fall in love with this place and wonderful manager Sylvia and Boy. This place has love is the air vibe, and if you are able to feel it you will never want to leave. We had a feeling that we have been friends with them for ages, even though we just met them staying at their place.They are not greedy and they will never take advantage of you (like in other places). They will try to help every way they can what ever you ask for.We really love them. Close to Gu Bay resort is Mercury hotel with lovely swimming pool that you can use if you get a drink (or not :)), and beautiful secluded beach with small italian restaurant where you can rest in hammock. For all the rest you need to have scooter which we rent for less than 5 eur a day. So it was very convenient for us.I would recommend this place to everybody with free spirit. Maybe is the best for solo travelers - not for families with kids (unless in hippi mood).
