This hotel was the one I was most satisfied with during my trip to Chiang Mai, and the overall experience was outstanding, so we extended our stay for another night. [Location] The hotel is not far from the Old City of Chiang Mai, and it only takes a few minutes by taxi. Although it looks close to Tha Pae Gate on the map, considering the daytime temperatures in Chiang Mai, I strongly recommend taking a taxi instead of walking. [Amazing Details and Hospitality] Welcoming Gift: Upon check-in, the hotel presented a large and well-filled welcome package, which included three bottles of large Evian mineral water and various snacks. This generous gesture pleasantly surprised us. Attention to Decor: The hotel's decor details can withstand scrutiny. For example, the corners of the bathroom are very smoothly finished, and the classic wooden chairs in the room have a great texture, showcasing the heritage of an established hotel and its pursuit of quality. Dining Highlights: The breakfast variety is rich, and I especially recommend the spicy chicken nugget soup, which tastes excellent and is quite memorable. [Areas for Improvement] Service Consistency: The quality of front desk service varies. We interacted with three batches of staff, and the communication experience with two of them was not ideal. Office/Technical Support: The hotel's email system seems to have interception issues. We tried to print our child's homework through the official email, and despite repeatedly verifying the address and having multiple conversations, the front desk consistently reported not receiving the email (which worked fine when tested at other hotels later). I suggest the hotel check their IT system to avoid impacting business or family travelers. Air Conditioning Noise: The air conditioning in the room is quite loud, and even when adjusted to the lowest setting, it is still noticeable, which may affect guests who are sensitive to sleep.
