I enjoyed our stay at Fiordland hotel. The facilities are a little dated but it was good value compared to everything else in town. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

“Late back building ”
We stay here only 1 night, welcome with friendly owner. our room is on 2nd floor as we found that we were only or alone in this property. The motel clean but it seem the building itself is over 40 years old as it look like military camping during the world war. We felt scared and insecure as we were stay alone and park only our car our side next to the main road.

“Lovely”
The room was lovely, super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Had a kettle with plenty tea and coffee, a little fridge, a TV though I didn't use that, and a bath and shower. Highly recommended as a place to stay if you're doing some of the amazing hikes in the area and want to recover fully! ☺️

“Good value .. great staff ”
We arrived late at 10.30 pm and were unable to get any food anywhere .. the lovely manager knocked on our door ten minutes later with a couple of mango lassies and some sweets to tide us over … so hospitable and kind … the rooms were clean and great value but the service was the best !
