Stay Here!”

I was recommended Fun Wan Hostel by a fellow backpacker who mentioned it's the best place he had stayed in S.E.Asia for such a low price and I can second that. Cheap, Clean, Convenient Location, Comfortable and has great staff and large common rooms. Definitely stay here, you won't find better overall value anywhere else. Thanks Fun Wan, keep up the great work.

One of the best hostel in Bangkok”

It's a very clean property with almost all facilities available. Located in the heart of Sukhumvit Soi 11 which is close to many tourist joints. Most importantly, I very much liked the staffs who helped me out right from check-in to check-out. A big fat thanks to that amazing staff who not only booked a cab for me but also walked down with me till I get into the cab. I will definitely pay visit to Fun Wan when I visit Bangkok. Well done guys and keep it up. :)

Good value”

My only gripe I had with this place was the communal space, and the ground floor in general. As a non-smoker I found myself getting a lot of smoke from people smoking at and near the bar, even if I was far away from them in the communal space on the same floor. Because the smoking area is undercover the second-hand smoke isn't able to escape, so even if you don't find yourself with a cough like I did, you will likely find that whatever you are wearing will smell of smoke the next day. Gross. The main communal area could probably be improved by having fans blowing the other way (towards the smokers and out into the street), but if you are a non-smoker then the bar is off limits and i'd seriously consider heading elsewhere to 'commune' with people. It's never going to be perfect due to the design and there is such limited space to work with that I understand there is only so much you can do. Everything else about Fun Wan was fine, the staff are great and location is perfect next to BTS.

Had an Incredible Stay”

The place is great for such a low price. Was really impressed with the size and comfort of the beds, best I have experienced in a hostel and a hotel for that matter. The room is a decent size. The staff made my experience great. Got tons of insider tips from the morning and afternoon female staff. They did have one male staff who didn't seem to know much but the owner gave me loads of advice for Bangkok and Thailand. Will definitely be back before I fly home. Highly recommended.

Excellent Budget Hostel”

I expected a lot less for the price. Beds are incredibly comfortable and they provide nice white linens with big blanket and fluffy towel. The hostel is really clean and smells good too. The room was spacious and the bathroom had good water pressure and hot water. Close to two train lines and a boat which made exploring the city easy. Staff was friendly and helpful and gave great advice to help me get to expereince Bangkok like a local. Highly recommend this place. I already booked my return stay.

I loved it here”

I loved staying at Fun Wan, the staff were amazing, full of helpful advice and very friendly. Beds are extremely comfortable with very cool Air Con and big blankets to snuggle under. Definitely recommend it to anybody on a budget or not. Great location and super clean.

Loved It”

Staff, location, comfort of beds and overall atmosphere made all the difference. Can't go wrong if you opt to use Fun Wan as a 1 night or 1 week stay (actually met somebody who had already stayed 5 months). This place is great and it is because the staff and ownership care so much.

Been at Fun Wan several times, great place, nice beds!!!!, big lockers, clean, great location and price. What else can you ask for?

Great hostel”

This hostel was really cheap and it exceeded my expectations. Rooms and common areas are generally clean, beds are comfy and huge, bathrooms are also clean but only one for each room with supposedly 8 people staying. Not a big deal, though. WiFi is also efficient, and location is great, around 6 minute walk to the BTS Nana Station.

Great Value for Money”

If you are an experienced budget traveler you are in for a real treat with this gem of a place. Central, seriously really in the middle of the city, location, helpful staff, CLEAN, freebies and extremely comfortable beds. If you are looking for a cheap stay this is the best place to do it. Not recommended for people who usually stay in high end places as it can't compare because it is less than 5 dollars; I had some dorm mates who complained and I found out they had been traveling for a month staying in hotels and this was their only hostel experience. Definitely stay here if you want a real value hostel.

Convenient Stay”

This is a perfect place to stay for convenience. Walking distance from public transportation makes your stay great for transit travelers. This Hostel is right in the middle of Bangkok action (this area mostly bars/massage/food/shops), no silence here but enough to see and do.

Great Place!”

This hostel is very well located in the heart of Sukhumvit, with easy access to the bts and the metro, shopping malls, bars, clubs, street stalls, cafes and restaurants. The staff is great and helpful, and the hostel is pretty well run with space to lounge around. It's clean and tidy and the bed was comfy. The only minor drawback is there are only 2 washrooms for the dorms on the 1st floor. Apart from that, I enjoyed my stay here.

Great price, location, and community!”

The entire staff is very friendly and professional. The kitchen makes good food and the hostel is cleaned regularly. It's a great place to meet new friends from all over the world and the location is close to anything and everything you can want to do. If you ate very social or just need a good price on a bed this is a great choice. I came back for a second time after traveling around thailand for a month. I highly recommend this place for solo travellers and groups alike 💪🏼👌🏼🙏🏼

Great value for small budget, amazing staff! ”

This is a very low budget hostel, so don't count on many luxuries, but rest assured you'll get good value for what you paid for. Clean bed (room depends on who you're staying with, the female dorm was rather small, so we had to puzzle a bit to fit our stuff in there), clean bathrooms and hot shower. Good location close to the BTS station and away from the noise of the busy street nearby. The most amazing thing about this hostel is the staff though, they are so kind and friendly always ready with a smile and impeccable English. Keep up the good work guys!

Great Option”

This is a great hostel in the center of the city. Budget travelers will especially like it as it provides so much more than other hostels for such a low price. Great staff and unbeatable location. I highly recommend.

Very Impressed”

I thought the price was incredibly low and didn't believe it would be as good as it was. Upon check-in the staff was really friendly and welcoming and assisted me with my lost luggage and arranged for it to be delivered the next day. The 8 bed mixed dorm was very spacious and had a lot of room under the bed to store your luggage, unfortunately not all the guests did this which made the room cluttered, but I kept my luggage out of the way under the bed. Very clean, in great location close to lots of public transportation, nightlife and cheap food. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

Good for the price you pay. tiny room and BATHROOM PROBLEMS waiting queues!”

When I came in to this hostel I felt the staff was not very helpful or friendly. But everything is clean and the price you pay is fine. Good location close to metro station Nana and also very close to interchange Asok/Sukhumvit stations. The 8 people's room was really tiny and there was not enough space in the floor for all of us to place our backpacks and really unconfortable when you want to take your clothes or anything from it. When you come in the room you step in all the backpacks. The bed is really nice though, with nice bedding and a nice towel. The problem is about BATHROOM! There are only 2 bathrooms per floor and both have SHOWER AND TOILET IN THE SAME ROOM, SO IF ANYONE IS TAKING A SHOWER AND YOU NEED TO GO TO THE TOILET YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT

Great value for money and location”

Can't really fault it - it does the job, the beds were SO comfortable, and it was super close the main hustle and bustle of Sukhumvit and the BTS. The area around it is pretty expensive to eat and grab a pint, so if you're on a budget I'd go for a bit of a walk to find somewhere to eat and drink.

Underpriced”

I think it is extraordinary how little this hostel costs. It is one of the nicer places I've stayed in Southeast Asia. The staff are very friendly, it is clean, quiet, and only a five minute walk to the city center.

Excellent”

Room was clean. Staffs are friendly. In the heart of city, easy access to important places. But if you can spend 100 bhat more there are hostel which are providing free breakfast and free drinking water. But overall things are good. Would recommend.
