Little Sweet Staycation ”

Although it was a 2D1N Staycation, it was an amazing stay at the Genting Hotel Jurong with my boyfriend. We got to have a peace of mind and relax ourselves with the facilities in the Hotel such as the Outdoor swimming pool and gym. We look forward for our next stay in a couple of months time. I can say that the Superior Room was smaller than I expected however everything else was great. I give a 4.5 out of 5 stars and would surely recommend my friends and families to spare their free time staying at the Genting Hotel Jurong.

Confused but great!”

Pros - great location for sg locals! just 5-10mins walk from jurong east mrt station. super convenient! Cons - im currently turning 21 this september. due to the fact i wasnt officially 21 yet, i couldnt check in due to the fact i needed a guardian. i had to wait for my mum to come down just to check in for me...which is ridiculous cos it practically wasted my time. Overall, my experience at Genting Hotel is 4.5/5. Great location, great facilities...just that you hv to be 21 & above!

Short stay”

It was an overnight stay. I choose genting Jurong cos it was near to the location I was suppose to be at. The room was a tight squeeze with 2 single beds but other than that I was happy with the hotel. I did not utilise the wifi service at all and therefore cannot commend. The plus point is that it's within walking distance from the Jurong East MRT Station. Highly recommended.

Love hotel rooms, but premium rates”

I was originally super excited to stay here. A new hotel, near malls for food, easy metro access, and my venue where I was photographing for three days was only five minutes walk away. First off, despite my two month prior reservations, I was still stuck in a smoking room when I'd clearly requested non-smoking upon check-in. Luckily, I was able to change rooms later that evening after acquiring a headache and not being able to sleep well. Second, for being a resort hotel, I'm coming in at 10:00 PM or so, to find the hawker stalls closed and no room service. Third, the room was barely bigger than what the hard bed could fit into. Fourth, there're no accurte temperature controls in the shower stall. I could have a cold shower or a scalding one. Forget about consistently hot or warm. The water temperature was dangerously uncontrollable. If my family was traveling with me, this is reason enough to not to stay here. Fifth, the price for the room despite my early booking for one reservation and corporate rates for another has this place being seriously over-priced. I'll consider someplace a bit further away and taxi every day the next time I'm shooting at Science Center Singapore. It'd be cheaper and more spacious overall. Despite these cons, the Genting Hotel Jurong staff are friendly and accommodating. They're tops to me. The swimming pool is quite nice a first thing in the morning before the kids show up. The breakfast buffet's selection barely changed day-to-day but is tasty and tolerable for a week.

Business Traveller”

I used to stay at Genting Hotel if I am outstation to Singapore due to my work place is near to Jurong. I love their breakfast an ofcourse location is good to me. If you prefer city area do not book here because it take around 40min by MRT to reach the center area. Overall this hotel is good.

Good option if you need/want to stay in the west”

Genting Hotel is one of the few decent options on this side of town. It's a largish hotel situated across the road from the Jurong MRT and a host of the Jurong malls. We had a deluxe double room with two double beds in it. The room was super clean and reasonably sized. The limit on two devices only for free wifi was a little irritating in a room made for four people, as was the fact that the hotel only supplied two towels - every single night of our three night stay I had to call for extra towels, even though they were taking away four, the would replace them with two! I don't know if it's because our stay was over the christmas new year period, but I found Genting to be fairly pricey given its location and star rating. Singapore in general is expensive and there was no real bargain here, however the number of hotels with rooms that sleep four in Singapore is very limited, virtually non-existent outside the city area. The shower was good, water was hot with plenty of pressure.

Value for $”

Room is small but good enough for short stay. Location is so so but it’s near to few shopping Malls and it’s at west side of Singapore where lots of factories are there. Good for business travellers who need to visit west side of SG for work. Room is neat and clean and they provide cold water dispenser with ice at corridor outside the room. Not many hotels provide this so thumbs up for this! Ip Breakfast was good with egg station and cooked food which caters to vegetarian too. The usual pastry and salad selections are standards. Given the price paid, the food is good and nothing to complain about.

No complimentary parking ”

Book Genting Hotel Jurong to stay over for my Birthday. Informed the counter staff that it was my Birthday, received a pack of macaron as a complimentary gift. The macaron was good, thanks for it! When I entered the room, the TV was not able to switch on. Informed the front desk and they sent someone to fix it within 15 mins. So far two plus points. Good! However, when I was checking out of the hotel, I checked with hotel staff whether there is any complimentary parking coupon. I was told that it was not included. Parking was very expensive, cost a total of $25 to park from 10pm to 12pm next day...Had I known there was no complimentary parking, I would have parked my car at Jcube instead...

Great Location, Value for money! ”

It's a new hotel, have been upgraded to 2 double bed room when we checked in, was excited and satisfied with the spacious room, perfect for my children to roar around, the bed is good too as we have a good night sleep, so guess it's valued for money. Great location as it's the only hotel in Jurong. And near to the many shopping malls by walking distances. The staff, the desk front counter, bell boy, the staff in lobby even the hotel cleaner, they are all very polite and friendly, I must commend that.

Pleasant and Comfortable Stay”

The hotel is located strategically at Jurong district with shopping malls within walking distance. The room is simple and clean with comfortable stay. We had our pleasant stay at the hotel. The front desk staff is friendly too. Highly recommended to travellers would like to stay at Jurong district.

Convenient, Clean and Good Service”

I stayed 3 nights in Genting Jurong due to HDB HIP in my unit. I work in Jurong so this is the nearest hotel and also easy for me to go back home in the morning to open door for HIP workers to start work at 8am. Stayed in a smoking room on 7th floor. It does not have the strong tobacco smell in the corridor nor in the room. Housekeeping is clean and neat. Frontline staff at the check-in counter and Festive restaurant are polite and friendly. Tried the pan fried salman & nonya chicken curry rice - nice! The only thing I find not too comfortable but can still make do are: * Chair (stool) not so comfortable if need to sit for long as the chair has no back rest * No bathroom slipper - floor is cold. I do not like to wear shoes in room.... imagine stepping the dirt from outside all over the room. * Aircon is certainly strong. Had to switch to lowest fan mode, 27 degree celsius Overall, I am satisfied with my stay and their service. Will recommend to colleagues and friends.

Great for those who attend some business in Jurong area”

I've stayed here to attend some training in Jurong for a week. I found this place to be a very good place since it is near to the train station (5 minutes walk). there are also a lot of good stalls and restaurant for food. The facilities are also very well maintained and clean. but this place is far from the city center. but it shouldn't be a problems since the taxi and train station is very easy to access. will come back next time if I have training in this Area.

Comfortable stay”

The room was really comfortable. They have shuttle bus to Sentosa Island which is convenient for those who wish to visit there. Approximately 10 minute walk to MRT/Jurong East bus station, as well as numerous eatery or mall. Overall, I would stay here again in the future and highly recommend it to others.

Convenient hotel at the west of Singapore”

Genting Hotel Jurong is convenient as it is walking distance to the Jurong Easy MRT, which has 3 huge malls around it. So there's plenty to eat and shop in the area! The hotel also provides 24hrs free shuttle to Resort World Sentosa.

Wonderful stay at Genting Hotel Jurong East”

The room is clean and bright and everything in place except the Management should consider installing a bidet at the toilet just like the hotels in Genting Highland. The Science Centre is just a stone throw away - if you walk out from the foyer it is to your left. Cross over the road via the pedestrian bridge you have the MRT station and glorious food. There are a few shopping malls. Food can be found everywhere.. Be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, you have plenty of choice. Unlike Penang, the eateries are very clean and very well organised. If you do not convert MYR to SGD the price of food is very reasonable and comes in wholesome quantity. The shuttle bus from the hotel to Resorts World runs round the clock half hourly, and after 11.00 p.m. the next shuttle will arrive at 1.00 a.m. and thereafter hourly. Upon check out there is no worry about getting a taxi - they are parked in a row just outside the reception hall. You just pull your luggage to the first taxi and the driver will put them in the boot. The taxi fare is metered and they are genuine.

Clean hotel with friendly staffs”

The hotel is clean and the hotel staffs are approachable and friendly. Location wise, you have to walk a certain distance to the Jurong East MRT Station. However, there are many shopping centres nearby.

One night stay while waiting for visa processing”

Needed to stay one night for visa processing and wanted to be close to work on Jurong Island, this hotel is ideal for that and there is nothing else closer to Jurong Island. I didn't use any of the facilities but I was please with the room and slept well! Also several major Jurong shopping malls are just across the road!!

Well Located Hotel”

The hotel looks out to the Jurong East Transport Hub where there are the metro and busses. Beside that would be the JEM, J-Cube, Big Box and IMM all connected by a continuous sheltered bridge. The staff are super friendly too.
