"Comfy Bed", Cozy, & Great Location ”
My cousin and I went to the GLAD Yeouido Hotel for a short getaway from work and all kinds of stress. Turns out it was exactly what we were expecting. *Despite the main road situated right in front of the hotel, it was super quiet. **Location-wise, it couldn't be any better. It's impossible to miss the hotel because the hotel is literally right in front of Exit 4 of the 'National Assembly' Station on Subway No. Line 9. My cousin lives in a far-away city outside Seoul, but she had no difficulty in finding the hotel. ***Finally, the "AMAZING BEDDINGS"!!! The beddings help make the hotel experience hit the trifecta. I have some serious sleeping problems. However, once I laid down under the fluffy cozy soft blanket supported by the awesome bed itself covered in with a soft linen, I went into a deep deep sleep in a matter of seconds. Good Job GLAD!!! (The only downside during the stay was the morning buffet. In spite of my low expectations, I wasn't quite satisfied)

Last time I used GLAD was almost a year ago and I was so impressed that I decide to stick to GLAD whenever I am on Yeouido. The hotel itself is still as good as always. However, the staff was slightly less friendly, or I shall say one of them. I arrived at the hotel around 13:00 and was received by a male receptionist (his attire did not look the same as that of the other receptionists though). I was fully aware of the 15:00 check-in policy, so I was simply trying my luck by asking whether it is possible to get an early check-in. He could barely understand English (again I have to say the other staff on the premise can use English adequately), gave me the poker face, and insisted on charging me extra USD 30 (or 50? I could not understand his English either). I just told him I would be happy to come back later but he could not get it at all. When I came back later that day, the receptionist who checked me in was fantastic and professional.

Near big park - Yeouido park and Han river. Design hotel that really so cool! Line 9 (used 1 stop connect line 5) very close. bus transfer center, Easy to move anywhere in Seoul. All staff very young. and casual. That's cool. Breakfast buffet also great! Croiassant and coffee tastes so good :-)

Staff friendly and welcoming. Room very modern and clean...... great bathroom . If you need to be in Yeouido area I recommend this hotel.........but Yeouido is not the most convenient area for sightseeing or shopping.

Suitable for Business traveller”
Located right in front of Airport Limo - National Assembly Building station (Bus number 6030). If the purpose of visiting Seoul is for Shopping and Sightseeing, Glad at Yeouido is not highly recommended. It's about 30 - 40mins Subway ride from the shopping districts e.g. Myeongdong. However, if you prefer quiet area and it's for business, this is perfect. Overall, I like this hotel as the room is clean, mattress and pillow are very comfortable.

I would highly recommend the GLAD Hotel if you have work related meetings scheduled at the National Assembly or companies based in the Yeouido area. The hotel was also conveniently located near many restaurants.

Satisfied”
It was a pleasable experience to stay there. I stayed in the Glad King room on the 8th floor which had bathtub in the bathroom. The Bed, pillow, the wooden floor, bathroom, the desk and so on, everything was clean and neat. I had to wait for hot water in the shower for a minute, there were not much things to enjoy at the Lofty as it was written- no wine, champagne, beer, but just coffee, milk, water and just somecookies...I was having hard time to communicate at the front desk because the staff was not good at English. Since we were two, we needed two amenities- such as shower cap, comb, Cotten balls, Q-tips, and so on, but they were not prepared as I requested. Other than that, the location- takes 5minutes to IFC mall by walk, breakfast buffet- not many kinds of food, but perfect for breakfast, gym were clean and good. The room was quiet, warm, a and comfortable I had good sleep there. If I have chance to come back to Korea, I am willing to stay at this hotel again and recommend to others.

The hotel itself is trendy, while the staff are friendly and attentive. The room is spacious, which we didn't expect for a hotel in Seoul! The only down side is location. It is at National Assembly station.Need several transfer at metro if you travels from the main stop of city. There are various restaurants five minutes away from hotel. I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I visit Seoul in future.

Nicest staff in Korea!”
The staff at Glad Hotel went above and beyond in every way I could imagine. Proactively helpful. Generous. Kind. They gave great recommendations as well and I really liked how they remembered who I was every morning, asked me if I needed a taxi to go to the same place I went the previous day and helped make sure I had everything I needed. Any question I had they were quick to jump online and search for me and then make any arrangements I needed lickity split. Thank you Glad for a tremendous stay!

Smartly designed with good attention to the detail”
Overall, this is a fantastic property with great attention to detail. The service was very attentive and proactive. The room was impeccably designed with smart furnishings. The bathroom (in the corner deluxe) was well laid out. If you have an option to purchase the executive lounge access, please do so... Wine and beer plus light dinner every night. Glad hotels seem to have a winning recipe going for them, and I look forward to seeing the hotel group expand!

It was vey nice stay - friendly staff and this hotel is yhe member of design hotels assosiation, so it's very interesting inside/ I like stylish rooms and amenities. The map of the Seoul presented for free at the lobby - is the best for travellers! And the location - is perfect - it's 15 sec to Subway station - National Assembly.

Very convenience and comfortable place”
It was a great experience with this hotel during the staying in Seoul. Very convenience to use public transportation mad it can be easily reached from Gimpo and Incheon airport. The room was quite tidy and comfort. Specially the bed was perfect for relaxing after hang around the city.

Home away from home.”
Personally, I love the location. It’s accessible, National Assembly Station - Line 9 is literally outside the hotel but far enough from the congestion of overly crowded areas. I’ve stayed at Glad on three separate occasions and will likely stay here again during my next visit.

Convenient location”
We just needed a place to stay for one night and the GLAD Hotel was very convenient and comfortable. It's about a two minute walk from the hotel to the nearest subway station. The check in was quick and easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the young gentleman at the concierge counter. He was very helpful and he spoke very good English. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved the shower! We will definitely be returning.
