great hotel”

me and my daughter loved our time at grand mercure phuket patong, hotel is fantastic and great location for everything, swimming pool & steam rooms were great and food in hotel was excellent but what stood out most is the staff everyone was so helpful and pleasant to us all the time front getting us taxis , helping with our tours, at breakfast, room service. special thanks to jamnong bootsong who really went out his way to make sure we were enjoying our stay and thank you warawudhi pumthong for your help and advice. when i go back to phuket this is the only hotel i will stay thanks everyone at grand mercure .

Grand Mercure Phuket Patong, simply perfect!”

Our entire stay in Grand Mercure is perfection. We arrived around 2AM and were greeted with a warm welcome from Jackie, the receptionist and the rest of the staff. Thailand is known to be welcoming people.. and I feel the sincerity in them. We were escorted to our room.. and wow, it was what we were looking for.. the view of the pool.. the serenity.. and the feeling of being pampered. Jackie even called up to check if everything is okay. We stayed in Phuket for four days and majority of which were spent outside - Day 1: Arrival, Day 2: City Tour, massage, and Simon Cabaret, Day 3: Phi Phi Tour and Phuket Funtasea, and Day 4: was supposed to be James Bond Island Tour. However, we decided to cancel our day 4 trip to savour Grand Mercure's inviting pool, shop at the market area in front of the hotel, and at Jungceylon which is just a 10-minute walk... and again, massage to complete our trip. Overall, Grand Mercure is the place to be while in Phuket. Great staff.. and perfect location - near the beach, shopping areas, nightlife.. Simply, perfect!

Fantastic Staff”

I recently stayed one week at the Grand Mercure in Phuket and I really enjoyed my stay there. Everything about the hotel is absolutely first class from the room and pool to the breakfast buffet in the morning but what is really special about the hotel is the professional and helpful staff. Everyone working there, from the maids to the receptionists and bellmen, do everything they can to make your stay a memorable one; you are definitely treated like a VIP by everyone. I stayed in a pool access room and the room had every amenity, the wifi connection was great and there was a HDMI wall connection for viewing programs from your laptop to the TV in the room. The breakfast buffet had fresh coffee and eggs made to order and a selection of many fruits, pastries, and Thai dishes for breakfast that was amazing. The location is also excellent with Patong Beach and many restaurants within easy walking distance. This is one hotel that checks all of the right boxes.

What a stay we had at The Grand Mercure Patong! From the staff to the facilities and the food everything exceeded our expectations. My wife and I decided to visit Phuket before the arrival of our first child and were kindly treated to upgrade to a suite by the ever so lovely Ann, as well as a celebration cake and room decorations. When we visit Phuket again we will look no further than the Grand Mercure! We thank you so much for our wonderful stay.

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early. This was a big plus as I had 2 children. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, the service was exceptional and the staffs were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend Grand Mercure Phuket Patong for anyone visiting Phuket.

The Grand Mercure is a very nice Hotel, located in Patong / Phuket, with a comfortable swimming pool, nice Restaurant and services (internet, wi-fi). The staff is very friendly. If you like to do Gymn, the Fitness Room is nice, but quite small, with few machines.

Deluxe Pool Access Room”

Firstly the Hotel really impress me i would give 6-Star for the service. Receptionist was great i got early check in as they saw me with the kids. Clean room, kids friendly and love the pool access. All Staff was great and friendly. Also i would give a complement to Mr Anas the waitress really serve us well as a family. I would like to recommend this hotel to all Muslim Brother and sister they serve Halal Breakfast. Recommended for Singaporean. My room#123 was great!!! Well done Grand Mercure i will make my stay again when visiting Phuket.

World class hospitality”

I arranged an early check that was done very efficiently. The room was beautiful, immaculate & stylishly furnished. Even thoug the room was near the foyer, there was never any disturbance or noise of any kind, even with light entertainment on most nights. Breakfast was scrumptious with a wide selection of dishes. It would have been nice to have had Halaal options though. The pool was amazing, especially at night. Thai hoslitality & service excellence is evident at all levels, from reception & housekeeping to restaurant staff & security. I'll definitely stay at the Grand Mercure again the next time I'm in Patong.

Excellent Hotel”

During a recent 5 night stay at Grand Mercure Patong, I found my stay to most enjoyable! Nice friendly and helpful staff, imaculate public areas and rooms. The rooms were also of good size and good pool area. Strong wifi throughout. Good location to main shopping area's, beach and nightlife. Great value for money. Would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Patong.

Awesom stay”

They stay at Grand Mercure was awesome. I hope its not because the hotel just opened. I do hope they will maintain the standard as long as they are open. The hotel breakfast and food are delicious. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is great. It is also a good hotel for family with kids. I will do come back and stay at Grand Mercure again.

Fantastic”

The hotel is brand new and not yet fully completed, it was very quiet. The staff were great, super friendly, Mercure has obviously put some extra effort into the staff training. Well done. The hotel is well located right opposite OTOP and easy to get around Patong, the room was nice and fitted out well, we had good value for money, a nice 5 star hotel. My only dislike is showering in the bath tub, not a fan, prefer separate shower. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice pool, great location at Patong”

The hotel is located at Patong but the Patong beach is 7-10 mins walk from hotel, as well as Jungceylon mall as well. They provide shuttle to these two locations few times a day. The only drawback is there you need to pass by the garbage collection centre and there are garbage trucks park along the road and you need to tolerate the bad smell whenever you pass by. Some convenient stores are along the corner, so you can buy things conveniently. The pool is very nice, big and long, you can see lots of guests, kids will spend time in the pool. The breakfast is THB 35000 and kids is half price. However, the breakfast is not as many variety as 5 stars hotel, but it is fine. The bakery Chau Chau opens at 7am daily and the price is ok. It is fine to grab a nice breakfast as option. The hotel does not provide transport go and back from airport. Therefore, pls book your taxi upon arrival. The taxi from hotel is slightly more expensive as well.

Another great stay at the Grand Mercure Phuket”

We stayed at the Grand Mercure for one night over a month ago, but Seta at reception remembered us immediately. We were upgraded to a deluxe suite, and could not have asked for anything more. We really enjoy staying at this hotel, as it is close to everything, and the rooms truly are an escape from the rush of the outside world. The food is excellent! We have stayed at many of the hotels in Phuket, but this is one of the few that we have gone back to.

The best hotel in Patong!”

The Grand Mercure is the best hotel if you are staying in Patong. Fantastic facilities, super friendly staff, coupled with a great gym and bar area. I will definitely visit again when I come back.

Great service”

We were looked after very well by the staff and the hotel manager Sebastian. Rooms are modern and clean and the pool is refreshing with a small swim up bar. We ate at the hotel throughout our stay as it we had been travelling for a few weeks and just wanted to unwind. Dinner was very nice. Tapas which we ate on our balcony was really good and the western lunch baquets were also very nice - all of which were reasonably priced for a hotel. The cocktails are absolutely yummy and also very well priced. The hotels position is awesome surrounded by restaurants and massage places and a short walk to Jungceylon Shopping Centre which takes you past loads of market stalls so the walk in interesting if you are keen on shopping. We used to stay at The Burasari however since we believe it needs work to update it we have not found our new hotel for Patong. Stay in the pool access room if you can as its nice to have your own lounge chairs and these rooms also have a rain shower (but no bath).

Wonderful Stay”

There were many wonderful things about Grand Mercure but the star was the staff. They were attentive and recognises us, never failing to ask about our stay. They also prepared a little surprise for us on our anniversary. Wow! The location is good and quiet, with eateries, massages and all you'll need nearby. The breakfast was great and food was very nice, I like that you will never feel that the restaurant is crowded despite being high season. The pool was nice, gym was great with well maintained equipment, surrounding was quiet, and wifi was fast! All in all a great stay!

No regrets. It was an awesome stay! ”

Very worth every penny. From checking in to checking out, everything was smooth. Hotel is located very close to Patong beach and a lot of restaurant. Staffs are super friendly. Breakfast was awesome with halal food served. Room was very clean and nice. They even surprised us with an anniversary cake in the room after our late night outing and bed & bath tub decoration. This hotel made our last night stay in Phuket a memorable one. Well done!

Very quiet, Really great very new hotel”

The staff are really friendly and attentive. The beers and meals are extremely cost effective (especially the deals at the hotel bar) which was a great surprise for a large hotel in Phuket. The only down side (and it is seriously a small one) is the water treatment plant across the road. You are far enough away from the 'dodgy' bars but you are close enough to get there easily if you like. The beach is in very easy walking distance but the pools and the pool bar are so nice I didn't want to go down there (I did a few time for a walk).

Good Quality Well Positioned Hotel”

My wife and I stayed in a Pool Access Room with Club Access for three nights. The Hotel is quite new and well laid out. The building quality is not great - less than a year old and already showing signs of wear (ie door handles broken, loos tiles etc.) and no visible signs of maintenance program - so I have concerns for quality in the future. Staff are quite attentive and the breakfast is very good quality, vast selection and plentiful. The Club is a 'tiny'room in an upstairs area - on our first visit there was nowhere to sit - they provide good food and drink selection and that staff very attentive. Fitness room is also small - two treadmills and two bikes with three weight machines - a bit underwhelming for those with any desire to keep fit - spent most of my time waiting to use the equipment. The hotel itself is really well positioned for access to street food, markets and most frequented areas. Its reasonably good value for would recommend the Grand Mercure for short stays.

Relax and comfortable”

It's comfortable but i think things like laundry bag should be FOC as I stay in a few hotel they would not charge us for that but in grand mercure they charge us 100 thai baht for it. They charge deposit per night which i have to put a deposit for 4 nights of stay with them which i felt that it's just on a high side. Other than this everything was good.
