"Like everywhere on koh Yao noi, prices are a little less competitive than the rest of Thailand, but otherwise we loved this resort. Great big rooms, with plenty of space and nice balconies. The food however, in resort, was outstanding. As a chef, who rarely finds enjoyment in resort food, this place blew my mind. They have real love and talent in the kitchen. The lady in charge was also just fantastic. On an island where walking around to different restaurants is a not really an option, this is a godsend. If I had to put negative comments, it would be that the pool was incredibly warm. This should not put you off though. A great place to stay and chill..."

"Cudowne miejsce! Właścicielka i jej rodzina sprawiła, że nasze dwie noce na wyspie Koh Yao Noi były naprawdę cudowne. Obiekt jest przy samej plaży (odpływ jednak jest tak duży, że woda do kąpania jest może przez kilka godzin dziennie i jest bardzo płytko), posiadają basen, i leżaki przy plaży, hamaki pod palmami, można tam wypożyczyć kajak lub skuter. Odwiozą Cię również na prom. Prowadzą też restaurację, gdzie można fajnie zjeść i napić się np. mrożonej kawy. Może jedzenie nie powala, ale jest bardzo smaczne, domowe i obsługa mega przyjemna. Bardzo polecam, można tam naprawdę odpocząć i wychillować."

"Good basic budget accommodation run by nice and polite people. The room was clean, the transportation fee from the pier was 50 baht per person. 7 eleven shop, fruits shop and few restaurants are just 50 meters nearby. The fan room was not hot at nights (which is a good thing). The sound isolation of the structure is not best and you will hear the neighbors (ours were polite and I could sleep without any problem). For those who complain that the room was not clean after several days: just don’t eat in the room and everything will be just fine: after all, it’s a not a 5-star hotel :)"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Namtok Bungalows. The room was big with a balcony seating area, wet room and a kettle with tea/coffee and a fridge. The bed was big and came with a mosquito net which was helpful- the only negative was not having air con but we acknowledge this is a bit of a luxury and there was a big fan in the bedroom which we could move away. The location was great, walkable from the Pier we docked in from Krabi. Fruit shake/rotis stand, couple of restaurants and a couple of shops nearby. Scooters are the best way to see the island as we rented ours from Namtok for a reasonable price and the owner gave us a half day price too which was helpful. Try and find the more secluded beaches in the north east of the island. Down south there’s the market for souvenirs and a 7/11 for supplies if needed. We would love to come back to Koh Ya Noi and Namtok Bungalows had everything we needed plus we liked being slightly away from the more built up areas of the island. "

"The hosts are the friendliest people I have met in Thailand, with the warmest welcome I could imagine. If you need anything, like a taxi, a motorbike, an activity to do, a place to go, the owners will be happy to help you. The bungalows are simple but cosy with everything you need. The other customer come from different countries and everyone will happily tale their stories during the evening. If you are looking for a quiet place to sleep in, but with cool and warm people to be with, you found it ! Les hôtes sont les personnes les plus amicales que j'ai rencontré dans ce pays, avec l'accueil le plus chaleureux qu'on m'ait donné. Un taxi, un scooter, une activité où un endroit où aller ? Ils seront heureux de vous aider. Les bungalows sont simples mais douillets avec tout ce qu'il faut pour y dormir. Les clients viennent de différents pays et passent leurs soirées à raconter des histoires autour d'un verre. Si vous cherchez un endroit calme et agréable, vous y êtes !"
