“A particularly amazing machiya, very charming!”

The boss is very enthusiastic and polite, patiently answering our questions. The breakfast is especially delicious and quite impressive! They also recommended some amazing sushi nearby 🍣, so good!

“You can experience life in Kyoto.”

The town house has been turned into a guest house, and I think you can feel the experience of living in Kyoto at an affordable price. The building is not new, but it was very clean everywhere. I also enjoyed chatting with the other guests and the staff. I would like to stay again.

    “Okay.”

Satisfactory Stay This accommodation offers high satisfaction for the price. The location was a bit disappointing, but the cleanliness of the place and the attitude of the staff were excellent. The accommodation had convenient facilities and a beautiful garden, and the hot water was great, allowing for a good night's sleep. Although the transportation was a bit inconvenient, it was nice that it was within walking distance. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay.

    “Exceptional”

We just left Kingyoya today and wish we had booked more time than just 3 nights. What an incredible location--close to everything, on a quiet street--and the building is just beautiful. Our room was large, spotless, and the indoor garden was gorgeous. The two fellows working here were fantastic--just so friendly and helpful. As soon as we arrived we asked about bike rentals and they were arranged almost immediately, the rental place actually dropped them off that same evening. Had no idea this could be done. This was particularly helpful as I had an injury and would've had a hard time getting around without a bike. Wish we could rate this an 11/10 but that's not an option, when we return to Kyoto we'll definitely be staying here.
