“Love the Stay! Excellent Service! Great Location”
I absolutely loved the service provided by the staff at Kin Hotel. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient, and every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and welcoming. What impressed me most was the hotel's proactive communication. On my check-in day, the hotel contacted me via WhatsApp and provided useful information before my arrival. After check-in, they sent detailed information about breakfast hours, facility operating hours, Wi-Fi access, and even a map highlighting nearby attractions and points of interest. The level of service I received was truly exceptional and among the best I have experienced throughout my years of traveling. In fact, I've stayed at several five-star hotels that did not provide this level of personalized attention. The location is excellent. The famous Ben Thanh Market is just around the corner, and there are plenty of money changers, spas, massage centers, restaurants, cafés, and local food options within walking distance. My stay was very comfortable. The room was clean, modern, and well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed the shower, which looked brand new and had excellent water pressure. The room size was also very reasonable for the price paid, offering great value for money. One area worth mentioning is the room view. I stayed in Wing A, Level 1, Room ***. My window faced the rear of the hotel, where there wasn't much to see and the neighboring buildings were quite close. Some rooms facing the street likely offer much better views. Since my room was located near a storage area, I occasionally noticed housekeeping carts parked along the corridor when leaving or returning to my room. The corridor itself is relatively narrow, although I personally didn't mind as I'd rather have a more spacious room. The breakfast area, swimming pool, and gym are located in Wing B on Level 10. It can be slightly inconvenient as guests staying in Wing A need to go down to the ground floor and walk over to Wing B to access these facilities. That said, breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of choices. The gym and pool were both modern, clean, and well-maintained. The pool is on the smaller side, but I understand the space limitations in a city-center hotel. Soundproofing could be improved as I could occasionally hear guests talking in the corridor. However, this wasn't a major issue and did not affect my overall experience. The hotel also features a rooftop sky deck with a wonderful atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying views of the surrounding city. It's a great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. While there are cheaper hotels nearby, I genuinely believe Kin Hotel is worth every dollar spent. The quality of service, room comfort, facilities, and overall experience more than justify the price. A Few Suggestions for Improvement: These are minor points based purely on my personal preferences: It would be helpful if guests could receive two key cards by default. Since my room's window view wasn't particularly appealing, I usually kept the curtains closed, making the room completely dark when returning. Having a second key card or installing a small night light would create a more welcoming atmosphere when entering the room. This could be especially beneficial for rooms without windows. I wasn't sure whether the room slippers were new or reused after sanitization. It might provide greater reassurance if they were individually wrapped in plastic or if disposable slippers were provided for hygiene purposes. Although I understand the facilities have designated operating hours, it would be wonderful if the gym and pool were accessible 24 hours, as they generally do not require staffing. In addition, keeping some lights on in the restaurant area at night would improve access to the rooftop.
