The room is spacious and the bedding is clean, and above all, the hot spring water flows well in the room, which is a great advantage.... Everything is good^^ However, it seems strange that only one hot spring bathing ticket is provided for overnight guests. I specifically visited this place for the germanium hot spring water, and it should be natural to bathe once upon arrival on Saturday evening and once before leaving on Sunday, right? Yet, I was upset to hear from the staff that only one bathing ticket per person is provided for one night, and that we had to pay an additional 5,000 won for extra use. (The regular price is 12,000 won, and for local residents, it is 9,000 won.)
This is the best place to stay. I don't know about other places, but it feels like the only hotel. They give you bath coupons, so I took two baths in the morning and evening. The water is nice. The bottom of the tub was slippery, and I was wondering what that was. Was it because I went late? By the way, the stars in the night sky are like this. It's a clean area. I've never seen the Big Dipper so big and bright. The room was spacious with ondol (traditional Korean heating), and my friend was very impressed. I thought I was going to die from the heat—the heating is no joke. I slept with the window slightly open and several towels dampened on my head. Haha, I'm having a great trip.
It is not particularly dirty, but it is quite old and there are several places that need attention. For example, the marble threshold at the bathroom entrance in the room we stayed in was broken. The only unique and proud facility is the hot spring, and while the water felt good, the atmosphere resembled a neighborhood public bath, which was charming but not at a level one would consider a hotel. It seems that it was well-built in its early days as an old hotel, but now it would be quite disappointing compared to other hotels. However, there is no accommodation, especially hotels, like this one near the Han River in Cheorwon. So, if you plan to stay in this area, I would recommend this hotel.
Positive points: The room seemed old, but it was well maintained and clean. The hot spring water is really, really nice. The location is good. Negative points: There was a musty smell from the towels and sheets. I was disappointed that I could only use the hot spring once. They said it had central heating, but the room was too hot (visited in January). Usually, hotels with baths provide at least shampoo and body wash, but there was nothing, which was surprising. Although there were some drawbacks, the lobby and bathroom had comfortable sofas, and the beds and furniture in the room were luxurious and easy to use, allowing me to truly relax. Recently, it seems that many hotels prioritize efficiency, so I was impressed by a hotel with plenty of relaxing space. I noticed they were doing renovation work, and I hope they thrive and continue their legacy in the future.

“It's neat for its year of manufacture.”
On the day my son had his military enlistment in Cheorwon and was coming out for a break, I hurriedly found a clean spot without much expectation since it was a place I booked on short notice. However, it just so happened that the nearby Goseokjeong Flower Field was in peak season, so after checking in, we walked along the flower path and had a delicious meal at a nearby restaurant. After coming back to the hotel, I used the sauna voucher they provided, got a scrub, and even enjoyed a massage. It was a bit disappointing that there were no amenities, but we had a fulfilling night before sending my son off. The massage had to be booked in advance and felt like the massage therapist was also living and working in the space. It lacked care and seemed somewhat half-hearted since if you watch TV during the treatment time, it detracted from the experience. The entrance was through a dusty area that seemed like an old house where you had to push the door, adding an odd vibe. Excluding the massage, the rest of the night was quite satisfactory. The next day, we were able to go to a nearby place where we could ride a boat, making it a packed day. The water from the hot springs was really great!
