Honestly prefer the old design better when it was still Mandarin orchard. The shower is badly designed, water keeps getting out of the shower causing the bathroom floor to be wet all the time. We didn't mind the fact that there's no clothes drawers. Room is pretty clean.

During my time of stay it was still known as Mandarin Orchard Hotel. it was still going through some renovations hence the check in process were longer, however staffs were quick to handle the situation and made sure guests were comfortable while waiting. Pool was rather crowded due to it being a weekend, amenities were pretty okay. Good stay however.

nice newly built but have some issues”
i used to stay to this hotel long time ago and now become Hilton, the interior is now more modern and more comfortable, but have some issues since the day i arrived at 5pm but have to still waiting at front desk, the reason is just to check the room again, then i got room at 21floor and the bathroom have issue with the hot and cold water pressure and machine that have to on off again to get the water not too hot or too cold, and then when its raining the water dripping from the seal of the window and got wet inside

Perfectly located with all the amenities you need”
We had a great stay at the hotel - it was perfectly located within walking distance to Sydney Harbour and World Square. We even took a walk down to Circular Quay. Lots of good food options around and staff were extremely helpful. Enjoyed the stay here!

Stayed during hotel renovation”
We stayed at the location when the hotel was going through renovation under Mandarin. As the lobby had been relocated then, the walk in was quite long. Room was comfortably spacious and had a unique pleasant scent. The staff were helpful and patient. Had an extremely good experience here!

Birthday staycation nightmare ”
Checked in and realised my room had no greetings on the tv - no warm birthday welcome w fruit platters or chocolate or cake (usually quite standard of 4-5 star hotels especially when THEY ASKED what I’m celebrating) - called for toilet paper and water and tissue paper at 5.30pm as I had only 1 each - took 45mins to come. Told them to avoid 6-6.30pm cos I had a zoom meeting and since they delayed, pls avoid the time slot. Told me ok.. but rang the bell 3 times while I was in meeting. The next day, my actual birthday, I went for breakfast - room came w breakfast but 5 different staff insisted at Estate restaurant that I had to pay for my breakfast - ask them check my booking but all seemed to not be aware my room came a breakfast. Left room at 8.30 - went back at 12.15pm to a messy room - room clean up not done even after I indicate for service w the light at the door. Called to ask whats happening.. only to be spoken to rudely and asked “so what do u want me to do about it?” Shocked to my core at horrible rude staff - this is basic… cleaning of room when guests leave the room.. 3-4 hrs is more than enough time to clean it even with many other rooms. At 1pm plus, room was still NOT cleaned. Duty managers came and tried to explain that the birthday welcome was only on the birthday itself in the evening. Totally didn’t buy it.. but let it be. Promised the world to me on service recovery but in the end force me to take up the service recovery on the day of my check out when I was busy and told them I’d consider and confirm again. When I said I was busy I can’t go for the high tea that they provided as part of service recovery, they insisted that no choice it was supposed to be on the day of check out? Literally forcing me to accept their service recovery so they can check off the list to said they did right by guest! Refused it and ask them to do better. Additionally, my friend delivered a cake to me at concierge and was told by concierge I checked out already on my 2nd

Hotel still undergoing renovation when we stayed there. Not much facilities available but hotel nearby alot of restaurants and amenities. So not a big issue. Check in and check out was fast no hassle. Room is clean and spacious just nice for the 3 of us, me, my wife and son. My son liked the bathtub very much. Will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was undergoing construction during our stay but we were given a high floor this could not hear the construction works at all. However, we had to walk quite a fair bit to exit the hotel. Staff gave us a good room with an amazing view upon request for our honeymoon stay. A solid 9/10.
