Couldn't have picked a better hostel to relax in Bangkok”
I booked hostel Urby after a meditation retreat, so coming back to Bangkok was a bit daunting. Hostel Urby was the best choice I made- it sits on the river with a lovely view from the balcony over the city. The Dorms have the perfect cubby hole beds with curtains and ice cold air con (duvet's provided). The common areas are large, bright, clean and modern. I spent two days chilling here in and out of the hostel. There's tea, coffee, cereal and a microwave for making your own foods and drinks which they allow you to bring in. The bathrooms are cleaned every day twice a day and are really nice. The staff are so friendly and welcoming giving advice whenever they can. There's a little bar attached to the hostel with beers and coffee etc. It actually felt really fancy so I'd give 10 stars for Value for money if I could. Next time i'm back in Bangkok i won't look anywhere else, I'm staying here again 100%.

excellent”
i stayed in hostel urby for a little over two weeks and truly enjoyed my stay. the facilities are very clean, as there is almost always someone cleaning the hostel. the beds are extra spacious with lots of headspace so you can sit comfortably in your own bunk. the curtains provide a lot of privacy and pretty much block out any light. the terrace with the view of the river and city is lovely with wonderful sunrises and sunsets. the location is in chinatown and a short walk from the MRT. the staff is so sweet and kind. i missed this place as soon as i left. i will return here the next time i’m in bangkok.

Very clean, good staff, bad location”
So Urby caught my eye because of the price and being on a budget that was necessity. Everything was clean, the cafe in the hostel is a bit expensive but very good quality and the staff were amazing. However the location is on the river bang next to Chinatown which was horrible. I always opted for a tuk tuk out of there because of the smell and busyness. Bit overall good hostel but be prepared to spend money on travel out of there so other spots in Bangkok as walking distance everything is the same.

Chillaxing @ the riverside”
Stayed at Urby for the duration of 29 days and had a very pleasant time! Staff is amazingly friendly, and super attentive; staying at the hostel feels like living with many bros and sis from different moms and pops. Everything is fairly easily accessible from here being able to use the ferry, bus and MRT. Only two things changed from being super positive to being less convenient during my stay: the breakfast time was shortened by an hour and the microwave broke and wasn’t replaced quite as yet. I will however not choose any other location when returning to Bangkok. Thanks everyone! :-)

The adorable hostel i’ve ever visited in the world!”
Urby is the best hostel in Chinatown area with location, view and accessibility I grabbed the motorbike from BTS(sky train) Saphan Tak-Sin station in only 10 mins to the hostel. Stepping into the frontage which is located behind the main Chinatown access to the third floor reaching to the reception area. Receptionist made us a fast track about check-in things and introduced necessary things politely and friendly. The standing out point for this hostel is about their Minimal Design creating a clean and comfortable looks with simple color that they use. URBY is a must accommodation to stay. It will be part of your unforgettable visit to Thailand. Cheers you guys!

Can't beat the view”
Tucked in the back of Chinatown Hostel Urby was the perfect place to decompress after long days exploring busy Bangkok. Yes it may be a ways away from Khao San and other tourist hot spots with a little bit of research the views will melt away any negative thoughts as you sip a beer and meet some nice people on the deck. Definitely be back

Exceptional”
Located in the lively area of Yaowarat (Chinatown), Urby was my favourite hostel out of the ones that I stayed in Bangkok. Clean, capsule-like dorm rooms for those that value their privacy and a great balcony/common area that overlooks the river for those that want to socialise.

Amazing hostel”
Hostel was absolutely amazing. Best thing in Bangkok(I didn't like city too much). It was very clean and comfortable. Interior design really made me want to spend time there. Honestly rarely you can see such a clean amd nice hostel. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. Localization was ok. District itself was ugly and empty of any places to go but close to main turistic attractions. The only real disadvantage of the hostel was that people weren't too much into socializing(most didn't even speak English). Which was pity because hostel had a great terrace and general design for that . That was a big disadvantage for me as a solo traveller. I was spending my time in Bangkok alone. Perhaps hostel could arrange some integration?

Came back a second time”
On returning to Bangkok, I headed straight back to Hostel Urby, as I had such a great experience first time around. Great staff, great location by the river and great price A+++

One of the best!”
Honestly this is the best hostel I have stayed in so far in Bangkok. The stay is worth more than the price charged (I stayed in 8 persons female dorm and it only cost me around 300baht per night). Location is perfect and you can enjoy scenic view by Chao Phraya river and need not worry about food as Chinatown is merely 5 minutes walking distance away. But the hostel is pretty distant from the centre of city, if you are keen to go shopping at Siam or other shopping centres, considered hailing a taxi or Grab. On a side note, there is ChaoPhraya Express Boat pier just 10 minutes walk away. So it is pretty convenient if you plan on visiting other places such as Grand Palace and Wat Arun. Cleanliness is commendable as I actually witnessed the cleaner vacuum every nook of the room. Simple breakfast (cereal and milk) is complementary. All in all, very much in love with its minimalist design. I would definitely be back!

Excellent place”
Hostel Urby is clean and modern with AC and working toilets and showers. It's about a 7 minute walk from the MRT and a water ferry stop and less than that to the main drag in Chinatown. The only things I didn't particularly like were that it's on the third floor and only stairs and the top bunk is really high. Normally, I can stand on my toes and see the top bunk, but at this place, I had to climb 2 steps on the ladder to see anything. And the space between the ladders is pretty big. I asked to move to a bottom bunk, though, and I was fine, so try that.

Excellent place ”
This is my second time in Hostel Urby. I love the place because it is near China Town, MRT Station, and other tourist spots. Bed and mattresses are comfortable. The entire place is cozy, clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The only downside is that the hostel is in the 3rd floor of the building and there is no elevator, just stairs. For us girls, carrying a suitcase/luggage is a bit of a struggle. Overall, it's a great place to stay!!!

Relaxing hostel”
What I love about this place is that a lot of space to relax like the balcony (they have this styrofoam big pillows) and the river view! Mike and Garfield are the best front desk staff thanks Mike and Garf😁 Downside- There is this hobo china man sleeping there becuase Urby is too nice they just allow the guy to come and use their facility but the guy is using up space intended for the paying guest, and there is a drunkard local guy lives there he messed up big time the toilet at night with lots of puke🤮 but the hostel it self it’s excelent!

Most Astonishing Hostel I've Seen”
I only stayed at this hostel for three nights. I would honestly stay at this hostel longer, but I just really needed 3 nights in Bangkok. This is probably the chillest hostel I have ever booked. I was in love of the view that was in the back of the hostel. You guys really have to check that out. It is amazing. But everything about this hostel was perfect. The bed was comfortable, the whole building of the hostel (including the facilities) is spotless, the wifi was good and the staff was awesome. I wanna thank you to Hong or Kong (I can't remember his name lol) but he made my stay miraculous!

Clean, convenient, great location, lovely staff”
Chic and comfy hostel with nice common area and kitchen connected to the porch area with river view. The staff is very lovely. There are two bars connected to balcony. 5 mins walk to Chinatown. Couldn't ask for better location in Bangkok and comfortable stay in the hostel with well-thought throughout the whole space. 10 mins drive to Kaosan road, old town area or city/business center of Bangkok.

so great !”
The staff is friendly and speaks very good English, the whole place is new and so clean ! The big balcony overlooking the river and Bangkok skyline was great. The beds in the dorm are private (walls separate every beds) and comfortable, you even have AC and small breakfast. For the price I paid I was surprise to have such quality !

Amazing view!!! ”
This was my first time in Bangkok. I was so happy I chose this hostel!!! It was so amazing waking up my first morning to see the city in front of me coming to life! And it was just as amazing to see the sunset over Wat Arun. Right in the middle of Chinatown, you can't help but feeling part of the neighborhood. Great rooms, very comfortable bunks. A great place if you enjoy meeting a few wonderful people from all over that just want to enjoy the beauty of the place. The people at reception where fantastic, Very helpful and genuine. There is a bar on premises, and owner is just as friendly and wonderful. The only thing that I thought could be improved where the cleaning times as they were just at same time as people were waking up and having breakfast. Overall, I loved it!!

Always again”
Book this hostel cause of all the good reviews and I have to say its one of the nicest hostels I stayed in. The hosel is new(opened in Feb 18), everything is neat and clean. The staff can speak English and the Riverview is great. I would absolutely stay her again. Its right in china town so food stalls everywhere, 300m to 7 eleven, 400m to the next pier, not in walking distance to Khao song road but plenty of bus going all directions.

Looking forward to staying here again”
I'm glad I opted for this place, despite its slightly out of the way location , transportation-wise (I did make it to the ticket counter at Hua Lampong in 23 minutes walking through the maze of the inner car-less soi`s between the Wat and the river with 20 kgs of luggage but I was moving very fast and sweating profusely as a result). This is an extremely spacious hostels with very private beds and an outside deck facing the Chao Praya river. The staff deserves a special mention for their friendliness & helpfulness. I just wish their breakfast wasn't limited to cornflakes and milk but that's probably asking too much considering what a great deal I got.
