"Good to mingle around with its open concept bar. A lot of solo traveller as well that will join you for a good couple of drinks. One thing that really stood out is the host. THE BEST HOST EVER GOES TO MAM! She's is very cute and bubbly and starts her shift on the evening. Cheerful and informative also very inclusive with guests. Met some of the best people there and we get to make our own little pub crawl which is amazing. Don't be shy to ask on what to do or where to go becaue she will give you a little piece of Krabi that you will remember forever! :) "

"We only book in hotel since we are in Thailand and we took a chance with a hostel in Krabi... and it was the best move ever. This is not a hostel, it should be a hotel. We had a really GREAT service and the hostel is super clean! We recommended it to our friends and they were so happy to sleep there too!"

"Basic hotel. Clean room and it seems that renovation is taking place to upgrade the place. We booked a standard room, but since the room ia under renovation, we got an upgrade to deluxe with no extra charge. 5* on this. 1000THB deposit, so be prepared. Staff are generally friendly. Booking for Krabi tours are available at the reception such as island hopping and airport transfer, so it's effortless to just book there. Prices are reasonable and for some are cheaper. Better to book via them as their reputation may be at stake if the tour provider is not good. We booked for Hong Islands hopping, and the tour provider is Nang An. 800THB for 2 excluding park fees (300THB). iRest Sea Front is right by the beach, just across the street. 'Pier' to Railay and Phra Nang is just a few minutes walk. Souvenirs, food and convenience are everywhere to the left and right. McDonald is just right in Front. Somewhat, Ao Nang is very much lacking of local streetfood, no pull cart. "

"Snoozz Hotel is strategically located - about 5-10 minutes walk to the famous Krabi Town night markets (there are two in the town). We stayed one night (Saturday night) in a superior double bed room, which was sufficient for us who travelled as a couple. We liked how modern and minimalist the room design was. Pros: 1. Strategically located - walking distance to Krabi Town night markets, Vogue Departmental Store, local restaurants. 2. Has an in-house cafe for a quick coffee. 3. Clean and modern. 4. Has a motorcycle rental service (please be informed that you will need to leave your passport with Snoozz Hotel when you rent a bike with them. If you are uncomfortable in doing so, you might want to consider other places). We rented a bike with Snoozz Hotel for THB250/day and for 3 days. We were not comfortable with leaving one of our passports with them at first but we decided to believe that it was in safe hands. Thankfully it was. 5. Bed and pillows were comfortable but this really depends on personal preference (if you like firm mattresses, you may feel the beds are comfortable and likewise for the pillows). 6. 2 complimentary bottled water in the room. There is also a water dispenser in the lobby. Cons: 1. Could be slightly noisy in the morning when the locals begin their day. A point to note: there is a local bus/tuk-tuk service right opposite of the hotel's main entrance. If you wish to get a ride to the airport, it costs THB50/person. Make sure to confirm with the driver as the driver may start off with THB100."

"the hotel has a great location. it takes around 10-15 mins to the beach and right next to 7 eleven. The area is the best tbh and considering its cheap price, it was a very good deal! the staff was very nice, they provided airport transfers at 600baht. we had to go to the airport at 5.30 am, the driver was punctual. its just that when we booked the family room we thought we will be having our own bathroom but turns out they are all shared bathrooms but not a problem cus the bathroom was clean. they provided soap and shampoo. Im a satisfied customer:)"

"Pak up hostel is a great place to stay and to meet travelers from all around the world. The location is great, the facilities are excellent, and the price is cheap- Best to book this hostel through Agoda- the best deal and the cheapest price for sure, even relatively to booking straight via the hostel itself. All friends i met at these hostel stayed there for 4-5 nights even though there is not much to do in Krabi, it's just a great place to chill out and make friends. The rooms and showers are very convenient. I spent here two nights when arrived from the northern islands, went from here to Railay Beach (the pier is very close and it's 150 BHT for 30 min each direction). Near the hostel is a night market which is very good- tasty and cheap. Also spent there the night before my flight to BKK- its 30 min from Krabi airport. highly recommended !"

"me and my girl were there just for one night cause we leave krabi back to bangkok. so we just want to check old krabi town ! Guys, go to krabi town, not to places like AoNang or just like this... krabi town is cool, quite and special. The Chanchalay is very clean, well located and beautiful. "We stayed at 9 different hotels all around Thailand and this was one of our favorites. It says it is a Krabi hotel, but I would call it an Ao Nang hotel. (Very close to Ao Nang Beach, and Ao Nang Port) We made the mistake of taking a boat to Krabi Port instead of Ao Nang. Anyways, it is a great location. If I were only to stay a week in Thailand and I wanted to be in the beach area, I would choose this place. There is plenty of shopping, food, and two beaches close by. The beaches aren’t perfect white sand ultimate getaway beaches, but it was clean, and enjoyable. The hotel room was simple, and clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and wonderful. And the breakfast menu was delicious and a perfect amount for me. In addition they have a free tea time from 7 to 12 to enjoy a cup of tea before bed. I thought that was really cute. I have no complaints whatsoever about this place and I really enjoyed my stay here. Thank you. "

" I stayed here back when Covid-19 first started messing up the tourism in the area so my review might not be representative of Pop-In at its full glory. The place is quiet, clean and modern. Bathrooms are shared but they are some of the vest I have seen in Thailand. The location is good. 7 eleven, Tesco, restaurants, the beach, laundry, Makro, pubs and nightclubs are all within walking distance. The hostel itself has a very small communal area which closes at 10pm and the aircon is turned off during the day regardless of whether or not you have left the room. The matresses are thin and uncomforatable to sit on for long periods. There is also no communal kitchen so food has to be bought and eaten outside, which is expensive in Ao Nang. If you don't know the area and you are wondering whether here or Krabi is better for you, then here is better. Krabi is more residential and Ao Nang is the tourist place that you need to be at. The staff were ok. Maybe it's just me but I felt that they viewed me as an inconvenience. I wasn't greeted well and I felt as though I was interrupting just to ask a question. When the all accommodation in the province  was ordered to shut as a measure against the spread of Covid-19, we were notified by a note on the wall. There was little effort to spread the message or help with onward travel. But this was an extraordinary time so maybe the stress of the situation affected how they treated everyone. Overall, I would stay here again. It was clean, modern, had great showers and was centrally located. The price was the best at the time and if it is a good deal again it would be a good place to base yourself for a couple of days."
