Lipa Bay Resort
Nathon,Dusit Dhewa - Samui Cultural Center and Fine Art of South East Asia - View on map
"We just arrived to ko samui from railay beach where the price of 1night there were going to pay our 4nights in lipa Bay. When we saw the hotel we were really happy as it wasn't a very tourist area so the beach was not crowded at all even when it was beautiful. It was the paradise completed with kind, helpful and friendly staff. We also travel by motorbike around the island to realised that other famous beaches in ko samui were nothing in comparison with the lipa Bay one. I would definitely recommend everyone to leave the famous North and East of the island and enjoy the beautiful beach of lipa noi beach in lipa Bay resort"

Nikki Beach Resort & Spa (SHA Extra Plus)
Nathon,Dusit Dhewa - Samui Cultural Center and Fine Art of South East Asia - View on map
"nikki beach was perfect in many ways; beautiful bungalows which are very new, nice beach for samui standards and quiet area, sunsets, great breakfast at the bakery, excellent food in the restaurant although a little expensive compared to other places but well worth it, great pool area with tons of day beds. staff are very friendly and speak good english. management is very helpful and sebastian is a star! ...he was great to deal with. nikki beach is not the place to go if you're looking for a quiet and completely relaxing get away. the attraction for most to nikki is the pool and the party atmosphere which surrounds it. visitors are allowed to use the pool and from midday until dinner it crawls with people enjoying the dance music and regular dj's. most people seem to love this aspect, it just means you do not have peace and quiet...if that's what you're after. the bungalow prices are an excellent value compared to what else you can get on samui. if you don't mind the music then you can't pass this place up."

Anahata Resort Samui(Old The Lipa Lovely) (SHA Plus+)
Nathon,Dusit Dhewa - Samui Cultural Center and Fine Art of South East Asia - View on map
"We stayed at the Lipa Lovely for two weeks with out three children. The location was perfect for us as the hotel is on the quiet unspoilt west side of koh Samui. Great if you want tptal relaxation and peace, not great if you want night-life and shopping. The beach in our opinion is the best on Samui, we visited many. The sand is white and powdery, the beach is very clean, there are no rocks or seaweed. The water is clear and there is no current. The beach is perfect for children as you have to walk into the seas for a long way before it gets deep so it's excellent for children. Our room was a family suite, 2 bed rooms, 2 en suite bathrooms and an interconnecting sitting room. The rooms where basic and clean, daily housekeeping is excellent and the resort provides outstanding value for money. The grounds are well maintained, the staff could not have been better, friendly and welcoming, great with our kids, they could not do enough for us. The food is reasonably priced and excellent. The breakfast is great, we have stayed in many resorts in Thailand and the Lipa Lovely did the best breakfast of them all. The pool is small and unless you use the steps to get in and out it can graze your legs as the sides are sharp in places. The location is in a very quiet area on the west coast, stunning sunsets are guaranteed! There are a couple of little shops and simple but good restaurants opposite the resort but that's all there is. Nathon is a 10 minute drive away, 25 minutes to Bhoput and 35 mins to Chaweng. We had a fantastic stay at the Lipa lovely and would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing break"

Baan Wasana
Nathon,Dusit Dhewa - Samui Cultural Center and Fine Art of South East Asia - View on map
"My wife and I stayed in a bungalow for a few nights. We booked it because we knew we'd be coming in on the ferry fairly late and it's somewhat close to Na Thon pier. The property itself is very nice and quiet, the rooms are clean and have plenty of space. The beach is amazing and pretty empty, so we had the beach to ourselves for most of the day. Our only issue with Baan Wasana was that when we arrived at 9pm (which I had previously written to them as our arrival time) no one was there to check us in. I had to call several times and we waited for almost an hour for someone to come let us into our rooms. By the time we got into our rooms all of the restaurants around had closed, so we had to walk past packs of barking street dogs to the nearby 7-11 to get some food. I recommend that you call the bungalow manager when you are still on the ferry and arranging your arrival time so that this doesn't happen to you. However, as I said, everything else was great and I recommend this place."

Rajapruek Samui Resort (SHA Plus+)
Nathon,Dusit Dhewa - Samui Cultural Center and Fine Art of South East Asia - View on map
"It was my third time in Samui, second time at this property. If you want to go to Samui to enjoy the endless parties and crowded crazy life of most popular beaches like Chaweng and Lamai, this is not your place. But if your plans are those of a family relaxing trip, or romantic getaway, here you will find it for sure. The beach is the best in Samui, safe and clean water, nice sand, very few people with only 4 or 5 other properties in the area, and unbelieveably beautiful sunsets. Hotel has kayaks and a small catamaran that they let you use without any charge, as well as snorkeling masks (although there's not much to be seen underwater). Villas are spacious, clean and well equipped (although you shouldn't expect the most advanced gadgets in your room). Hotel offers wi-fi internet (150 baht / day) and, if you don't have a laptop, they lend you one for free. Breakfasts are very good, and restaurant menu is varied enough for three four days. A couple of neighbour hotels within walking distance are another option to give your meals more variation. Finally hotel staff is friendly, and make their best to make your stay satisfactory. They're of great help arranging tours and reservations for you. I would definitely recommend this place (and will try to make it myself for a third time)."

"Viva vacation is a gorgeous family run resort offering excellent value for money. The spacious villas are set in the most beautiful well maintained gardens and the property had a stunning beach front location. The food and service was excellent throughout our 7 day stay. Honestly one of the best places we have stayed in south east Asia. "

Lipa Lodge Resort
Nathon,Dusit Dhewa - Samui Cultural Center and Fine Art of South East Asia - View on map
"We arrived and there was no airport pickup as requested through Agoda, and when got to the Lodge they showed us to the room, but it was nothing like we had requested. When we enquired, the receptionist quickly had our luggage moved to a lovely ocean view room that was three metres from the waters edge. While we were at lunch, the manager approached us and apologised profusely about the airport pickup and also pointed out that we were still in the wrong room as the one we had booked was much bigger and had a bath tub. We were shown the new room and the staff very quickly moved everything from the one room to the other. That was the end of any problems we encountered at Lippa Lodge Resort. The hotel staff “ Petchie” greeted us every morning and checked if we needed help in planning activities, he suggested places of interest to visit either by foot or taxi, a nice personal touch. This is not a hotel as per European standards, but rather a quaint resort that is built up of a number of individual traditional houses, beautifully scattered around the gardens. Our room had a lovely view of the swimming pool and the ocean, with the mainland visible in the distance. Really lovely and quite, just the sort of place needed if you are looking for a romantic getaway. As we were there in the low season, the resort was empty and there were only two other couples there at the same time. The breakfast was good, although we have had better at other Asian hotels, although the setting of the dining room was great with large windows opening up to provide a lovely view of the sea. The setting of restaurant for dinner was spectacular as it is right on the beach and the combination of lights and candles made this a favourite with visitors from many of the other hotels along the beach. Dinner food was great and not very expensive. We had an oil massage on the beach next to the pool, the location was beautiful. There is a quirky German restaurant that sells cheap drinks just a short"

The Siam Residence Boutique Resort (SHA Plus+)
Nathon,Dusit Dhewa - Samui Cultural Center and Fine Art of South East Asia - View on map
"We have been to the Siam before so we knew what to expect and I'm glad to say it didn't disappoint in any way. Location for us was great. Nathon town was about 4km away we hired a car but scooters are available. The peace and tranquility of the Siam Residence is diametrically opposite to the hustle and bustle of Nathon and indeed the rest of Samui. Here the staff are fantastic and go beyond duty to make you feel welcome. Food is excellent and covers both Thai and European dishes and for the service and style the price is amazing. The rooms are actually villas so for your money you get a bedroom with two king sized beds and TV. The bathroom is huge with a toilet and shower. A lounge with large sofa, tables and TV. A dressing room with hanging space and drawers enables you to unpack properly and a safe for your secure items. Outside there's a covered porch facing gardens or pool. All kept immaculate by the wonderful cleaners and gardeners. All this at an amazing price "
