Find hotels near Lamai Beach in Koh Samui, Thailand

2nd time staying at this hotel, have stayed at other hotels in Lamai but we think this is the best hotel in Lamai.. wouldn't stay anywhere else now. The rooms are excellent, very clean, modern rooms, great bathroom and shower. Can walk to beach in 5mins. No noise from other guests. Just amazing-There are no negative things to say!

I-Samui is a relatively new resort with owners and staff who are very eager to please. My room was lovely and airy with modern fittings. The flat-screen TV, air-con unit and shower were superior to those you usually find in such modestly priced accommodation (1,000 baht or $28 a night including breakfast during my stay). Breakfast is served on the outdoor terrace overl...I-Samui is a relatively new resort with owners and staff who are very eager to please. My room was lovely and airy with modern fittings. The flat-screen TV, air-con unit and shower were superior to those you usually find in such modestly priced accommodation (1,000 baht or $28 a night including breakfast during my stay). Breakfast is served on the outdoor terrace overlooking the small swimming pool. All three options include orange juice, tea/coffee, toast and jam. You can also choose to have eggs, bacon, ham and sausage if you are feeling hungry, while muesli with fruit is a more healthy choice. The coffee was very good quality. The resort is quiet but very close to the nightlife action in central Lamai. My only gripe is that part of the lane leading to I-Samui is dark at night. I would prefer to see some lighting. I would certainly be keen to stay here again. Highly recommended.

Pillows are old (and you’ll wonder if you have lice - I did not) The value here is in the prices remaining cheap for those willing or forced to tough it out; and the location is ideal for the busier parts of otherwise quieter Lamai Beach. Staff is superb but the office has limited daytime hours only. I think the online ratings are too high, though.. seems to me this is a 7.0 or 7.5 on Agoda, at best - or a 3-star on Trip Advisor. If they are charging more than 320 Baht, you can do much better nearby.

This place is magic! Rooms are cozy with love. The food is amazing: all fresh, organic, healthy and so so delicious!!! The garden is so nice with a big beautiful pool and yoga Studio with a gym! The place is located in Lamai! Which is the best place to stay on a he whole island. You have everything around, but it’s not to busy. And last but not least the owner is ...This place is magic! Francois and his wife were very helpful when booking taxi from the airport to their premises and as well pick up and ferry to Koh Phangan. For vositors we would recommend to walk to Crystal Beach. Lamai Beach is not so nice. Try New Hut at Lamai Beach for lunch or dinner. Good prices and nice place. Also nice dinner at seventy fahrenheit restaurant in Haad Lamai road. we had a wonderful stay here. there are cheaper places to stay if you dont book before you arrive but we were still happy with our choice. this is the nicest beach in samui, not too noisy like chaweng and the others dont have enough going on. lamai is just right! the hotel is always clean, staff are helpful and the pool is great. this hotel is not for kids though! ...we had a wonderful stay here. there are cheaper places to stay if you dont book before you arrive but we were still happy with our choice. this is the nicest beach in samui, not too noisy like chaweng and the others dont have enough going on. lamai is just right! the hotel is always clean, staff are helpful and the pool is great. this hotel is not for kids though! the bar across the road called toe-knees does the best foreign food in lamai and tony the owner is really friendly. well worth a visit if you stay here!

Bonny Hotel is a small reasonably priced hotel good for long stays. It attracts backpackers for the same reason, but younger people seem disappointed with the area and the lack of fun, so it's quiet compared to Koh Phangon. A lot of retirees and families, yet still a few little islands of bars and scandalous behavior. I've been in Thailand quite awhile and this is my favorite spot. Easy to make friends.

Inexpensive eateries are close by, 7-11 across the street, and a shopping mall close by. At times during the day the local road/temple next door can be on the loud side but no complaints here. Would recommend this place, and would stay again here if we are in the area.
