I'm a seasoned traveler, traveling extensively in South/Southeast Asia each year for 2-3 months each time(currently based in Laos, teaching English)....but this was my first visit to Nan. Unfortunately, not one of the hotel staff speak any English. The young ladies at the Reception were most charming and tried to be helpful. They only had maps of Nan in Thai - but...

this is the most expensive hotel in nan at the moment. the service is very good and almost everyone speaks good english. the rooms are very small but comfortable. the air-condition works well and is quiet. the hotel is all built of teakwood and has a nice atmosphere. beds are western soft and the room amenities are of a good quality. the hotel staff are interested in t...

Perfect hotel with perfect location. Nice and friendly staffs, they did what im I requested without said no at all. Lovely hotel owner, they are always there at the breakfast to check all guest satisfaction and make sure all your stay is going smooth. The lovely owner also recommended me what to do and where to go, feeling like you are at home Delicious breakfast. A...

Wow, I am so glad I booked this hotel after searching for many days online about hotels in Nan. Phumin Place is a beautiful haven, the rooms are huge and so comfortable and the staff are above and beyond helpful. The location is about a 5-second walk to the Night Market and Wat Phumin, but if you want to go further afield, the free bikes on offer are good quality and c...

Super clean & comfortable hotel which is hidden in a residential area with 15 mins walks to morning market, some attractions and some local restaurants & noodle shops. The room is handy in all aspects, the bed is comfortable with spotless clean white sheet&pillows, powerful hot Shower. The air-condition is easy to control. We were happy to have two free pick up from bu...

Nan We took the AC bus from Chiang Mai to Nan city. Nan province is in the north east of Thailand and borders Laos. Nan city on the river Nan, is a quiet and as it turned out, attractive and extremely clean little city (population about25,000). Nan, apparently, was an independent kingdom into the 20th century and was only fully integrated into Thailand in 1931. Bet...

Dhevaraj Hotel was very pleasant. The rooms were smallish but they were modern looking and nicely done up with good lighting and furniture. Mattresses were very good, not too hard or too soft. Mini-bar available in the room. No tea/coffee making facilities, mini safe or hair dryer in the room. Also only one available power point in the room. Furniture was modern and e...

Very kind hotel staff. They pick me up at the airport and help me booking a taxi to Pua. The room is spacious and very clean. Breakfast also is very tasty, have soy bean milk and deep fried Chinese stick. I quite enjoy the breakfast music as well. I will come back if I have another visit to Nan. I like the staff very much, their kindness made this hotel like home. Als...

Stay here was ok, the sign out the front is in thai which made it hard to find. If I employed teens to run the reception I would take their phones off them at the start of their shift, very annoying trying to get their attention to check in or ask anything. Visit nan steak house had the best cheeseburger there. But I won't be back to Nan.

Nan may be the best kept secret in Northern Thailand. It's a beautiful area! My husband and I stayed at Huan Gum Gim Hotel in late December. The room was beautiful and clean. A very nice break from all the budget accommodations we'd gotten used to. The room didn't have a private bathroom but there were two on our floor and they were cleaned regularly. Overall it was a ...

I stayed at this Guesthouse whilst exploring the town and province. Neat, modern and comfortable room with ensuite shower. Family run, the friendly owner went out of her way to help me plan my daily excursions and make sure that I was comfortable. No food available however free coffee on offer all day. They picked me up from the airport (small charge) and dropped me of...

We used to visit this small town many times. We could see good and bad points of these hotels. Fah Place Hotel is one another with good location where we can walk to any places. The owner and staff are friendly. We were leaving early at 05.00 am. The hotel made an impressive morning call both by phone and door knock. Bike rent was easily returned at 05.00 am...
