The room was neat and clean with big corridor. Staffs were nice and helpful (although they might not be very informative. They got confused at some of our questions about sightseeing direction but we sorted things out in the end) The hotel is about 15-20 mins walk from bus station and just 3 mins walk to Phumin temple. There are night market in the area every weekend s...
this is truly one of the very best historic boutique hotels in northern thailand. the character of the 80-year old hotel has been retained, with added modern amenities. decor is lanna inspired and beautiful. service could not be better. located in the heart of the old town, just a block from the bustling morning market. breakfast is great ... but it would be nice if ...
NanNakara is far more than we expected, it was at great location (only few steps to Nan landmark - Phumin Temple and Nan Museum, great spacious room with amenities travelers may need, great breakfast with beautiful taste and decoration, most of all, great staff with attentive service (they prepare special dish for Vegetarian every morning). I am sure to stay here agai...
I booked a twin beds room but I got double bed. I asked to change the room type but the staff told that all room were fully booked and the problem was not solved. Hope that I won't face the same mistake occurred by carelessness on my next stay.
PRO 1. Best location ... very near night street market, Phumin temple, museum 2. Reasonable price 3. Large room 4. Nice breakfast (not buffet) 5. Great service (nice staff) 6. Bicycle provided Con. 1. Air con keeps falling in to my head, cant adjust the direct of airflow 2. Low water pressure Overall is superb and value for your money I will definitely comeback to t...
Wow, I am so glad I booked this hotel after searching for many days online about hotels in Nan. Phumin Place is a beautiful haven, the rooms are huge and so comfortable and the staff are above and beyond helpful. The location is about a 5-second walk to the Night Market and Wat Phumin, but if you want to go further afield, the free bikes on offer are good quality and c...
The hotel locates near Nan market and major Nan attractions like Wat Phumin and the National museum. It's about 30 minute walk to those attractions. The best thing about this hotel is its owner who made sure we had the most memorable stay in Nan. He and his guest truly lived up to Northern Thai's hospitality! He helped us booked the car to visit nearby national parks w...
A simple, but clean and comfortable hotel opposite one of the best noodle restaurants I’ve been to in Thailand. Not far to other places to eat and drink with a good breakfast available. Good for a short stay.
Unequivocally, Nan Boutique Hotel is one of the, if not THE most delightful, pleasurable hotels in which I have ever stayed in SE Asia. My first visit to Nan; on arrival, I unfortunately found the hotel in which I was booked unsatisfactory. I moved to Nan Boutique Hotel. Delightful, comfortable, lovely hotel. Quiet location, tho' just minutes from the market, "Walk...
Dhevaraj Hotel was very pleasant. The rooms were smallish but they were modern looking and nicely done up with good lighting and furniture. Mattresses were very good, not too hard or too soft. Mini-bar available in the room. No tea/coffee making facilities, mini safe or hair dryer in the room. Also only one available power point in the room. Furniture was modern and e...
small hotel with all-convenient provided for small group tour or travel in this area using your own car,is located in the Mimaung community so it just in walking distance to survey wat phumin, wat mingmaung area.
First impression at Nan with nice people in Sukasem Hotel. They are so pleasure to me and helpful and they made the reason to come again. About the location is very convenient for everyone to go and enjoy the town, it's quite near signature place such as Wat Phumin,Market and Museum. You can hire the bicycle or motorbike from the hotel to visit there.
This hotel so good, here so clean and comfortable. Good located also.
The stay was ok. It's a Thai-Thai hotel. We wanted to check in shortly after 2 pm but they were not ready as they still had to iron some pillow cases. When we asked to change the room to the last one down the hallway, it was no problem. Breakfast was mediocre. No table/chairs available when we got there. The "buffet" is right next to the open kitchen and area where the...
The room was modern, clean and spacious but it is a little bit in a remote location but suited my requirements (cheap and cheerful) near to a bicycle event start point. There was also a central area for self serve coffee/tea and biscuits. Good value
My wife and I stayed here for three nights in November 2017. The staff was very helpful, the facilities were excellent and roomy. We did use bicycles one day, but we are in our later 60's now and decided we were just as well off walking the 12 to 15 minutes to the town center. The hotel is very close -- just a few minutes -- to the night food market. One day we dec...
Stay here was ok, the sign out the front is in thai which made it hard to find. If I employed teens to run the reception I would take their phones off them at the start of their shift, very annoying trying to get their attention to check in or ask anything. Visit nan steak house had the best cheeseburger there. But I won't be back to Nan.
Pros You will feel as a guest of a family, who will treat you with upmost privacy. The rooms are clean and decorated very nicely in a traditional style Excellent free espresso coffee for breakfast. Didn't try the standard American breakfast, but if you request a Thai dish by the Thai name they are happy to make for you as I enjoy savoury rice porridge(keow tom). Fa...
This was my second stay at Huen Kuang Nan, very satisfactory with nice clean room. Wat Phumin is about 10 min walk and hotel is located in quiet residential area.
We used to visit this small town many times. We could see good and bad points of these hotels. Fah Place Hotel is one another with good location where we can walk to any places. The owner and staff are friendly. We were leaving early at 05.00 am. The hotel made an impressive morning call both by phone and door knock. Bike rent was easily returned at 05.00 am...
