Everything would be rated very good, but for us, the bed was like a brick. It was very hard to sleep on such a stiff surface. Other than that the stay was excellent. The wireless was excellent and the check in/check out done in a few seconds. They had an excellent variety of foods on the breakfast buffet (you can ask for an omelet too.) There was some road noise i...

The hotel and its staff are excellent. It a nice, new, and clean facility. Its location is convenient to city center, markets and the Friendship Bridge. Rooms are simple and comfortable. Restaurant is good, and the rooftop bar and bistro is excellent...and provides one of the best views of Nong Khai and the Mekong River. You would have a difficult time finding a be...

This hotel is situated a couple of kilometers from city center but still convenient, very close to the Friendship bridge if you're going to Lao, and you should. Facilities are just fine, a beautiful swimming pool although it's a little cold this time of year to take a dip. Bed is super comfy, breakfast totally forgettable.

I arrived at 9 in the morning expecting checkin at 2 in the afternoon. I was immediately given a room. Neatly functional to the max. The hotel is very close to immigration and Friendship Bridge. Although not near to the riverside area it is only 30 baht by tuktuk. I explained to the front desk of places I wanted to see and they advised taking a tuktuk. A member of the ...

Great hotel and wonderful staff. From the man on the desk who came out on his scooter to show me the way to the hotel when I couldn't find it on my map app, to the very helpful and friendly housekeeping staff and the guy who drove us around in the hotel tuk tuk to find a couple of spots for a local feed. Really can't fault the staff or hotel.

Big room, plenty of space. Bed is large and comfortable. Good bathroom. Bring your own toilet paper as it is not supplied. If you ask you will get it (grudgingly) but will be advised you should use the bum gun. The 'breakfast' is coffee and biscuits in the lobby - but you won't be told about it. It is on the table near the door to the carpark (under the TV). We recomm...

I visited the hotel with my wife during the off-season, the price was very good. I was very happy with the hotel. The room was nice and with a nice view and balcony. I had a hire car which I was advised to park in a rough parking lot opposite the hotel. I was very uneasy about parking there as there were large buses and a taxi rank there and very few cars! My hire c...

The Sofa Gallery hotel is similar to a bed and breakfast. Khun Viset has renovated an old house along the Mekong to accommodate guests. The hotel is on the outskirts of town on the bank of the Mekong River towards the Friendship Bridge to Laos. It is nice to be away from the seediness of the tourist part of town, Thaa Sadej, where there are numerous guesthouses but fee...

My stay was a very relaxing stop over not to far from Nongkhai centre. The friendship bridge and river is only stone throw away. Lotus shopping centre is only a five minute walk. The staff are very friendly and helpful making the stay even more pleasant.

My first impression upon arriving at the hotel was that it seemed abandoned. My second impression was that reminded me of my first car - a Buick Regal. It was a luxury car but came at an inexpensive price due to age taking it's toll so that it was no longer a luxury experience. At some point, a luxury hotel decides whether it will try to maintain high standards, or if...
