City Beach Resort (SHA Extra Plus)
Hua Hin City Center,Hua Hin City Center - View on map
"The City Beach is well located in Hua Hin and within just a few minutes walk to shops, money exchange/ATM, bars and restuarants. Tuk tuk to Tesco Lotus mall is only 100 baht. The hotel staff were very friendly, courteous and extremely helpful at all times especially for my golf booking arrangements. I've stayed at the City Beach twice now and would be happy to go again if visiting Hua Hin. Luggage trolleys are noticeably noisy if you're sitting outside the foyer enjoying a drink. They've solid rubber tyres and the ramp is very steep, so the porters have a few problems I imagine. If you're in a wheelchair you'll need a bit of help with this for sure. Room furniture, bathroom fittings and decor are OK but on the verge of requiring refurbishment soon,(signs of wear and old repairs showing in places). Laundry in the hotel was expensive. We found a laundry at a fraction of their prices just a few minutes walk away and used that for the month we were there. "

Kiang Haad Beach Hua Hin Hotel (SHA Plus+)
Hua Hin City Center,Hua Hin City Center - View on map
"We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights at this hotel. The hotel staff was very kind and friendly. The location is very strategic. It is walking distance to Hua Hin Village Mall, bus station and 2-3- minute walk to the beach. 100 meters to 7/11 store. The breakfast was quite ok. The room was clean but a little bit small for 3 of us. You could also hear the noise of people outside. The hotel offers car rental and that’s great if ever you want to go the other spots in Hua Hin. The WiFi was not that strong on the 5th floor where we stayed. I turned it off and used my 4G. Moreover, I will recommend this hotel to my friends and maybe plan to stay here again soon. "

G Hua Hin Resort & Mall (SHA Extra plus)

"It was our first time to visit Hua Hin, we are grateful to have stayed in G Hua Hin. Their staff are really nice and helpful, helped us to get a daily rental car with driver for our half-day trip, as it is difficult to get a cab in Hua Hin, transportation is an issue, they have free shuttle to night market at 6pm too, which we would have joined if we haven't booked the car. The pool is very nice, even it is a bit close to the street, it is still very relaxing, and love their pool chairs!! They have some soaked nearby the pool edge, so when you get up, your legs are in the water, it feels wonderful if the sun burns you, you could just have your feet in the water for relief We have chosen to stay at the room with Jaccuzi, it is so nice that there is a stair near the Jaccuzi, you could just walk to the pool if you want to swim a bit (It looks like all Pool view jaccuzi is on 1/F). Definitely will recommend it to others!! We enjoyed it so much, and if you are a no-planner, it is good that, it is close to a mall and G Hua Hin is actually a mall by itself "

"Hotel looks new, big comfortable and visually pleasing room with balcony, staff speaks good english and is friendly and helpful. Riche Hua Hin Hotel (SHA Plus+)
Hua Hin City Center,Hua Hin City Center - View on map
"we have a very pleasant stay at riche hotel hua hin. the staff is very friendly and very good but only abit difficult to communicate with the receptionist as they dont understand english but thankfully there are 2 drivers/bell boy that can at least understand simple english and can speak simple english too. the room is very clean and comfortable. i find it rather very convenient because they have free shuttle service to 3 places in the city which are clock tower(opposite chatsila market and near to hua hin night market), plernwan (vintage village) and also to hua hin beach which you can ride a horse with less than 500 baht depending on the riding time you choose. the timing for the shuttle service is every 2 hours subsequently but if you have different timing you can request in advance. there are shuttle service from city back to hotel too. for those who wanted to go to santorini park, swiss sheep farm and the venezia you can take an orange bus in front of a family mart, oposite esso fuel station and the fee is really very cheap around 35 baht per person. there are minivan to bangkok at there too which is 180 baht per person. Maven Stylish Hotel Hua Hin (SHA Extra Plus)
Hua Hin City Center,Hua Hin City Center - View on map
"We really enjoyed our stay at Maven Stylish Hotel Hua Hin. We stayed in a deluxe room which was spacious. Everything was clean and modern. In the room, there were lots of plugs for charging devices, plus robes & slippers, and the wifi was fast. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotless. The swimming pool is small but it was fine for us. The gym is quite small with limited machines, so not the best for those wanting a serious workout. As for the buffet breakfast, it's pretty basic but reasonable for the size of the hotel. The location is great - you can walk to the street market, and to many restaurants and shops. The staff were very nice and helpful. We recommend the hotel, and hope to come back again. "

Hua Hin Grand Hotel & Plaza (SHA Plus+)
Hua Hin City Center,Hua Hin City Center - View on map
"Stayed on the 15th floor in a recently renovated superior room. Good room and love the view from up there across Hua Hin. Staff are just great here and are always helpful. The breakfast is fine and quite an extended choice for Thai breakfast options. AFAIK in low season they dont put bacon out and only semi warm fried eggs. If you want bacon and say an omelette then just ask and they will knock up fresh for you. Great large size swimming pool and always clean. Ample secure parking to the rear of hotel. Okay the hotel is not on the beach but its a 10 minute walk away with access points near the hilton hotel and a small street near to Market village shopping center, the latter being a far nicer part of the beach and more peaceful but you can still find food and drink there too. Also the Night Bazaar is about a 15 to 20 minute walk and there is a market right outside the hotel but closed on Tuesdays when I was there. Yes its an old hotel but they try hard and the staff are just great. For the price you pay via Agoda it is probably the best deal you can get for your money in Hua Hin."

More about Hua Hin City Center

Hua Hin is a popular resort community south of Bangkok on the Gulf of Thailand. It first became popular as a holiday destination for the royal family, but is today better known for its polished resort atmosphere. The days of Hua Hin as a sleepy fishing village have passed, but visitors can still get a glimpse of the old days at Hua Hin Fisherman’s Pier.

The mood is relaxed around the hotels in Hua Hin, and there are plenty of water sport facilities, shops and restaurants to keep tourists busy. The dominant sightseeing attraction is Thai King Bhumibol Palace, which is open to the public whenever the royal family is not using it. Lesser sites in the area include Pone Kingpetch Monument, a tribute to a local celebrity who became Thailand’s first world boxing champion in the 1960s.

Hua Hin Beach is where most of the activity centers, with resorts and hotels in Hua Hin operating comprehensive facilities. Deck chairs and umbrellas are widely available for rent, but active types find jet skis, banana boats, dive shops and windsurfing or kite-surfing outfitters. In the evening, the most popular place to be is Hua Hin Night Market.

Hua Hin is easy to reach from Bangkok by bus or via Hua Hin Railway Station, which is why it’s especially busy on the weekends. Thai families flock here during national holidays; otherwise, it’s busiest with international tourists from December to January. The beach community has ample facilities, including San Paulo and Hua Hin hospitals.
