Cozy, friendly & charming with superb hospitality!”

location: the guesthouse is located right on the main walking street, but not too close to the center of the busy noisy walking street traffic. this is a definite plus because if it would have been noisy and hard to sleep if it was too close to all the tourists and shoppers. amenities: bicycles free of use. you can roam thru the local walking streets and other areas with the bicycle. some places only offers this as a rental. room: there are several types of rooms: fan, air conditioner, room with bath. we stayed in the air conditioner room. the room is cozy and homey room with touch of simplicity. the room has only the basic necessities - bed, dressing mirror, clothing rack. the space is limited so if you're looking for the comforts seen in the typical hotels such as tv, big closets, in-room bathroom, etc., then this isn't the place for you. guesthouse decor is mostly handicrafts of the local thai dam hill-tribe. you can see the colourful unique handmade mobiles throughout the place. common areas: there are 3 shared bathrooms which is filled with lushest green plants giving a touch of nature. even though it is a shared bathroom, it is very clean and well kept. the toiletries are most organic (soap, shampooo, conditioner) and always well stocked. refrigerator is always stocked with bottle waters for the guests. twinings tea, coffee, dutch cocoa are also available to guests in the tv sitting area. plenty of areas to sit and read ** pet friendly ** the guesthouse also welcomes pet. the owner also has a large white tamed bangkaew dog. we brought our two shih-tzus with us to stay here and they had a great time too. if you have a large dog, i wouldn't recommend bringing it here. the room has limited space and is more suited for small pets.

Beautiful guesthouse and friendly service”

Me and my partner had a great experience staying in Husband & Wife Guesthouse. The interior of the guesthouse is beautifully decorated. The room is clean and well kept. The toilet is surrounded by plants as if one is in a garden. The boss, Jeff is friendly and helpful. He went into great length in introducing the interesting places in Chiang khan to us. He even took us for a tour to introduce the places where we could have our breakfast. Free bottle drinking water were offered to us during our stay. Oh and we can use the guesthouses' bicycles for free.

Friendly staffs but, languages barriers”

Pros: 1) friendly staffs 2) cozy and nice designed room Cons: 1) languages barriers in communication The staffs can't speak English at all. I had a difficulty to find the way to the guesthouse. When I tried to speak them on the phone, nobody could help me to explain that. That is a big problem. They certainly have to be responsible about services for English speaking visitors at least when they promote themselves on Agoda. Also, Agoda should check it clearly and mark that the guesthouse can't provide service for English speakers. 2) It is not only about the place. If you plan to go to the area, you'd better to prepare mosquitocide.

Lovely&warm guesthouse with good service-mind”

this guesthouse is very warm & lovely. it was decorated very well. the front of guesthouse full with interesting souvenirs and local otop products of thailand that allow you to shop as you please. interior decoration with modern contemporary trend make you feel warm and contemporary. the backside of the guesthouse have a small lovely garden that let you rest and feel close to the nature. the recreation room is rather small with fragrance. i think it is so small and sweet for family, it might be more suitable for any lover. there have 3 rest rooms outside the recreation rooms that you have to share with other visitors but don't worry! every rest room are deep concerned, so it is always clean and comfortable! the both owner are very nice people, friendly and good service mind. they have a quite big dog, no need to be frightened if you have a chance to see him. he is no fierce.

Retro wooden house in a cute small town”

Love our stay in this quaint and quiet small town. The room is conveniently located in the main street though parking is a little challenging on weekends. The guesthouse is very welcoming to our two cats as well. Had a wonderful stay :)

Great Breakfest”

Wow, They just open new Buffet Bar. I do not know how they can Give room for this price and The breakfast. The food pays for the room ... Even Pizza on Breakfast bar ..People, this deal is not going to last !!!

Great staff, atmosphere, and location”

The rooms were great, the location couldn't be better. The owner/staff were terrific, the guesthouse doubles as a great cafe and is walking distance to everything you want to see in Chiang Khan.

Brilliant host and the warmest vibe of Chiang Khan”

We really enjoyed our 2 nights at Husband and Wife Guesthouse and this was our second time. The owners were very nice and the people were generous. This won't be our last time staying there unless they are all booked!

Lovely homestay”

We stayed here for a night. I must admit that this is a very lovely homestay. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There's a common living room with mini aquarium. Toilet and bathrooms are clean. You'll get a breakfast coupon worth 50 baht per person and you can choose breakfast from 6 local food shops near the hotel. The bad things about this hotel is the bed is quite small. I have no problem with the bed as I'm Asian so the bed size fits me. The homestay is next to the walking street so you can hear noise from the street at night.

the room was a bit small but you will feel the special atmosphere at the guesthouse. and all staffs are very helpful and try to make clean everywhere.

Cute guesthouse and room, welcoming”

The guesthouse was cute with the shop at the bottom. The room was cute and clean, my room having a cute outdoor shower which was scenic, the bed was nice. The room has welcoming open sections and help yourself coffee. An interesting breakfast arrangement with vouchers for nearby restaurants which were of good quality. Overall a nice stay.

Charming combination of traditional Thai and modern design - a lot of love and care has gone into this. Very friendly owners. Marvellous range of coffee, fairly priced, and some nice mocktails. No food though.

Located in the center of town on walking street. The building is a very traditional wooden house. The owners are very helpful and the place is very clean. Breakfast is offered at nearby restaurants.

Nice place in Chiang Khan”

Location is great. Staff limited English, as most in this region. It was a bit too expensive for the quality of the room. Ok clean, but defintely not great. Our big room felt in real life smaller than the proposed 40m2, probably due the low ceiling and roof. The guesthouse itself looks great. The town is wonderful. Coffee bar in the guesthouse is quite popular and serves good coffee.
