We arrived late at around 21:30 from Baguio by bus (6,5 hrs) which stopped 60 meters away from Isabelo’s Inn. You can take both roads and then either walk the stairs up or down. look for the signs. if you want to see the hanging coffins you need to register in the tourism office 50 meters away (100PHP/pax), call a guide (300PHP/group) and then go to the gate of the coffins, present your slip and pay another 10PHP fee. The procedure could either be German bureaucracy or an application for an Indian tourist visa in Bangkok. Be aware that no shops are open at night so bring food and water for night check inns. best food (non fried) you find down the road at yoghurt house. at isabelo’s the gentleman was so kind to give us an upgrade to a room with an external private bathroom which was very kind. they also placed the other guests not right next to each other which made our stay very quiet. pros: - water refills for a better price than fresh bottles (reduces plastic and is better for your wallet). Don’t understand why people complain. - reception gives info about how to get to e.g. buscalan by public transport. - nice wooden floors and style of the guesthouse which makes is cosy. - veranda & common area for hanging out. - good size mirror inside the clean room plus windows you can open. - smoking area on the balcony. - clean, white cotton sheets (can you believe that?) although the pillow case is unfortunately polyester. plus white cotton towels. - clean, private external bathroom had pretty hot shower (on and off) but the amount of water was minimal. - extra toilet rolls and soap in the bathroom. - curtains to darken the room and a check out at noon. - super central to a few sights, the tourism office and the bus stop. - thinner style matrasses so you don’t feel like lying in a hammock. - walk in rate for a twin was 1.000PHP without breakfast. - they helped out when the laundry was closed. - convenient store just below (beer, snacks, etc…) the guesthouse. - big breakfast choice you can order a la carte. (sometimes included in the rate) room for improvement: - missing wall hooks and a small bedside table between the two beds in the twin room. we used the chair. - guests need to be pretty quiet as the walls are thin. there is a curfew from 22:00 in sagada - still not sure why they do that. they love rules. - wifi inexistent in room no. 8 (daytime might be working) smart sim works very well - especially during night shift. - the only ones in the streets at night are dogs. and they bark accordingly as soon one of them feels irritation. - considering the beautiful wooden floor they unfortunately have these bright LED lights in the rooms and hallway. a (cheap) bamboo lamp shade would upgrade the atmosphere. - missed a proper butt gun (bidet). Dislike using the same bucket for the shower (if you prefer more water than available from the shower head) in general the stay was great and we would recommend isabelo’s inn. especially when you want to have basic, clean rooms, centrally located and close to bus stop and tourism office.
It is really near the Information center. I was given room 13 and though I was hesitant when I heard the number, the experience proved me that it was definitely just a number. The view from my window is just awesome. I can see more stars as well. It is cold when I open it and it's beside the comfort room and stairs to the roof top. If you're planning on wandering around and just want somewhere to sleep, please consider this! Bonus is that if you're already here on a Saturday at around 5AM, it is sooooo misty outside and there's a public market! I ate local food as well. Go walk around and the people and sellers are mostly nice enough for a chat. Please always ask permission before taking pictures and doing things. Cons: Wifi is slow in my room. I think it can be fixed with a wifi repeater. DITO sim doesn't work. I used my GOMO.
Stayed here for 6 nights. Location is very convenient with it being in the town centre. The inn itself is homey and has a good view of the mountain scenery. Breakfast that comes with the room booking is also good. Place is made of wood flooring so you might hear some steps or creaking here and there but not too noisy to bother you. You need to be a considerate guest if you want to stay here. There's a lobby in each floor where you can gather with your friends, if you're staying with a big group. Be mindful of how loud you're getting as it can be heard in the rooms if you get too loud while talking. Standard room is a bit small though you can still walk around the bed and has cabinet to put your things in and a balcony. Overall, you get what you pay for. Not too fancy like a hotel, but comfortable enough to get what you need during your stay in the beautiful place of Sagada. Staff is also approachable and nice.
Isabelo's Inn and Cafe is situated in the heart of Sagada's center. Around it is the municipal hall, the tourist information office, the Coda Lines office, public market, souvenir shops, St. Mary's Cathedral, hospital, sari-sari stores and restaurants/eateries. The Saturday market is also situated in the same location. It's accommodation is basic and simple, but comfortable. The walls are thin so you can slightly hear conversations from the other rooms, but not loud enough to be disturbed. They do have hot showers, delicious breakfast and wifi. They don't serve lunch and dinner, but they will allow you to bring food from outside and eat in the dining hall. You can also work in their dining hall (they have electricity sockets). Although they don't serve meals other than breakfast, you can order tea, coffee or hot chocolate in other times of the day. You can also check-in earlier if there are vacant rooms. But they do have a strict 12 noon checkout policy.

“Highly recommended Inn, for sure!”
Me and my partner loved it so much here. PROS: ✨Decent and clean room, tanaw agad from Tourism Office. Hindi na need magpaka-pagod sa paglalakad. Walkable na lang talaga ng sikat na mga restaurants and other places like Ganduyan Museum... so hindi need mag-tricab everyday. Grab the opportunity to walk talaga. Malamig naman kaya hindi mo ganoon mararamdaman ang pagod! Hindi ka manlalagkit. ✨We were allowed for an early check-in. Ang nakalagay sa Agoda eh 12noon pa dapat ang early check-in from the standard 2pm check-in time worldwide. ✨They serve meals here. Sarap ng bacon and hotdogs! Tbh, on the pricey levels ang food sa mga restaurants sa Sagada, pero sa Isabelo's they serve decent meals at a more affordable price at may kasama na options like coffees/water ang isang order, depende sa gusto mo. Coffee was good, pang-masa at para kang masayang nagka-kape sa bahay mo sa province ang feels! Ganon! ✨Very hands-on naman sila sa guests. I remember, nag-check pa sila kung gumagana nang maayos ang flush sa comfort room namin. Hehe. Very minor detail sa experience, pero means a lot! So far, wala naman akong nakitang negative talaga. Nakakapagod lang umakyat sa stairs lalo na kapag galing ka sa tour with extreme physical activities, pero I think dapat expected na 'yon kasi puro lakad talaga sa Sagada at normal layout ng mga bahay and guesthouse 'yong ma-hagdan. Overall, the experience was great with them! Will definitely book again kapag bumalik kami. Salamat po sa inyong lahat sa Isabelo's Inn and Cafe!
