Hua Hin Grand Hotel & Plaza (SHA Plus+)
Hua Hin City Center,Hua Hin / Cha-am - View on map
"My sister & I stayed here for 3 weeks to 14/2/20. We really liked the hotel last year & it's great value for money so we had no hesitation in returning. We also met up with quite a few other repeat guests. We really like the location of the hotel & it's got a really big pool with lots of sun beds (not always the case with hotels in Hua Hin). The bathrooms could do with updating but our room was kept spotlessly clean & the staff are always very friendly. We hope to return there in 2021. "

Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin (SHA Extra Plus)
Hua Hin Beachfront,Hua Hin / Cha-am - View on map
"Sofitel was carefully selected by me, a kind of perfectionist, for my first holiday in Hua Hin with my family (wife and young baby). I have no more words to praise its charming colonial architecture and lush gardens and would like to comment on location, beach, hotel and room facilities. Sofitel is right at the heart of Hua Hin downtown and it can be proved by the presence of McDonalds and Burger King (the only shop in Hua Hin, I think). Hua Hin Railway Station (a famous scene in Hua Hin) and Village Market (the biggest shopping mall) also is just around, as well as the great Mamma Mia Pizza restaurant. Hua Hin beach, the one just in front of Sofitel, is not a good place for swimming(lots of rocks) but it has widest beach ,whitest sand and best view comparing to Cha-Am and Khao Takiap. The sun chair of Sofitel is served not just on beach but inside hotel territory. Your privacy therefore can be protected with exact same sea view. There are three pools in Sofitel, one is particularly for adult (2.6 meters deep) and one is quite kid-friendly. My wife and my baby really like the bed (bedding) in room, Sofitel calls it “MyBed”. It is soft and cozy. The negative things to me are overpriced breakfast and hard/dated towels in bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. "

Putahracsa Hua Hin Resort (SHA Extra Plus)
Hua Hin Beachfront,Hua Hin / Cha-am - View on map
"This is a late review, but I still remember every detail of my stay at Putahracsa. From the moment you step in the lobby the staff would welcome you with very friendly and genuine smiles. They are not shy to approach their customers to help out and definitely did their best at servicing their customers. Any requests you'd make they did their best to help out. The service was definitely a major factor for me enjoying my stay so much. Secondly, the hotel itself was very nice and relaxing. The environment was quiet and "private" with two beautiful pools. The rooms were comfortable and large. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that the hotel was situated on two sides of the road. So to get to the second pool from my room I had to cross the street to the other side. This is only a minor problem tho as there was always a staff member near the street to help you cross the street. Other nice things about the hotel include the free DVD's they provide which is great for night time as Hua Hin is not a big party/nightlife kind of town. The hotel also has a tuk tuk which you can book to take you from the hotel to anywhere in Hua Hin. Although taxi's in Thailand aren't too expensive anyway, having this service saves you from the hassel of finding a taxi yourself. The hotel's location is also pretty good as it is within walking distance to the night market. (which I would deem as one of the major attractions in Hua Hin)"

Wora Bura Hua Hin Resort & Spa (SHA Extra Plus)
Khao Takiab,Hua Hin / Cha-am - View on map
"This small hotel (77 rooms) has everything expected from a 5* hotel. The staff and service is great, the breakfast is absolutely excellent, with little extras on the buffet every day, and lots and lots to choose from. The pool area is great, one of the biggest and best pools I've seen. Comfy sun beds, and enough for everyone, two towels per person and day, and as soon as there was a rain shower that wet the towels, the staff came running with new ones! A little bit overpriced with food, and especially soft drinks in the bars, and the food in the restaurant is good, but not excellent. The pool bar is another source that needs improvement, no action, no good drinks, no happy hour (this was instead in the lobby bar 4 pm - 5 pm, but who sits at the lobby bar in the afternoon?). The rooms are huge, with nice balconies facing the garden/pool. We stayed in a superior room, so there were also bigger rooms, but we were 2 adults and 2 children, had 2 queen size beds, and this was more than enough for us. The bathroom is lovely too, with doors that can open up to the room, if you want to. Lovely interior design, colonial style, nice bathrobes and slippers, umbrellas and beach bag in the room. I can definitely recommend this hotel if you are going to Hua Hin and Takiab Beach. The hotel has a shuttle bus to Hua Hin town, we never had problems to get seats. Taxi back is 5 minutes and 150 baht. The only downside is that there are few restaurants in the area, besides the hotel. And in Hua Hin you have to like Italian, which is the most they serve there. But Supatra on the sea, south Takiab by the mountain, has great food and lovely surroundings for dinner in the evening. On the way in to Hua Hin I can reccomend a restaurant called Roccia, with rooftop dining (Italian, great pasta!) in the moon light! The hotel is lovely and I warmly recommend it!"

Ayrest Hua Hin Hotel
Hua Hin City Center,Hua Hin / Cha-am - View on map
"As titled this is a brand new hotel, there isn't a sign from the main street to this hotel. Basically its next to Hua Hin Hospital coming down from Hua Hin Town towards Cha-Am. There's no sign on Phetkasem Rd (note to manager of hotel), you only see it once you turn in to soi 10. Hotel is not on the beach or tourist area, its basically in the middle of the main road between Cha-Am - Hua Hin. So if you want to get to anywhere you better have a rental or other means of transportation. There were only 5-6 rooms occupied when I checked in. So its very nice and quite. You seem to own the whole hotel complex. For The room, the finishing is OK and not really a 4-star. For me its more 3 stars, and as other reviewers the AC is really LOUD and also cannot get up to speed in terms of cooling. So better leave the key on when leaving the room unless you want to come back to a sauna. Swimming pool is small so I did not even bother, but do book a room with the jacuzzi on the terrace. Very nice for a quick dip. Breakfast was not a buffet style, understandable due to the number of guests they are still just opened recently. But with that the cook your own plate of A.B.F which is aplenty and very nice and fresh, the cooking lady even came out to greet us and ask about the food, which to me is a very nice gesture. Recommend this hotel if you are on transit or short stay in Hua Hin and plan to look around town/beach thus not staying much in-room. Not recommended if you want to stay and enjoy hotel facilities and all. "

Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa (SHA Extra Plus)
Hua Hin Beachfront,Hua Hin / Cha-am - View on map
"Our family have been to Hua Hin at least twice a year in the last decade. So we have a lot of experience for the difference hotel in Hua Hin. This is the first time we ever come to Hua Hin Marriott Resort and Spa. I have to say that this is exceed our expectation. The hotel is very new with a fantastic swimming pool. I haven't seen the swimming pool this size (and a lot of complex design) inside the hotel before. The room is quite spacious. The breakfast is full of variety of selection from everywhere. And above all, the service is really fantastic from the front desk, security guard (especially the one at the sea gate), and room service. So far, we haven't tried lunch and dinner there yet, but we will definitely be back there to test it for sure. "

Springfield Village Golf & Spa Hotel (SHA Plus+)
Cha Am Golf,Hua Hin / Cha-am - View on map
"This is a fantastic place if you want to get away from it all. You'll want to have a car to get out here, and it probably won't suit people who want to be near the beach and tourist attractions. The food is quite good and there is room service if you want to eat on the balcony, otherwise you have to eat in Hua Hin, about fifteen minutes drive away. The rooms are terrific, especially the large balcony with jacuzzi and swing chair. Take some bubble bath, as they don't have it at the hotel. The swimming pool is also very nice. You can lounge around in a deck chair and drink cocktails. You can also play golf or try one of their adventure activities. "

Devasom Hua Hin Resort (SHA Extra Plus)
Hua Hin Beachfront,Hua Hin / Cha-am - View on map
"I have just returned after two blissful days at the Devasom Resort in Hua Hin. This place is exquisite and I just didn't want to leave!!! What I loved about this place: 1. It is unique...from the hand-picked antique furnishings in the lobby, the original set of Encyclopedia Britannica from early 1950s in the gorgeous library, to the deliciously refreshing welcome drink, the Devasom is original. It is like being welcomed into someone's home in the 1920s in southern France! To top that off, the staff are wonderfully friendly and the owner (Ms Rasri) is such a delightful woman whose passion for this place is evident in the care she has taken in making it so nice. 2. The fact that it is not a sprawling mega-resort like many others in Hua Hin. It is a sanctuary....a place where you come to find peace and quiet while being surrounded by beauty both inside and outside the hotel room. A place you can be left alone to dwell in your thoughts but if you wanted some help, a staff will eagerly assist you. 3. The bathroom! I loved the bath products, the wooden floors, the beautiful bathtub and the fact that it could be a completely open bathroom if one wanted! So you could relax with a nice glass of Pinot and watch a movie from your bathtub! 4. Location was great. The resort is right on the beach. The beach spot in front of the resort is small but you can take a walk to surrounding beach areas quite easily. It is 10 km from the bustling town centre of Hua Hin...so it is close enough if you wanted to go into town but far enough to be away from the crowds. The hotel provides shuttle service three times a day until 5pm (last one) into town. If you wanted to go into town for dinner or the night market, they can also help you arrange a taxi (approx. 250 baht one way) 5. The infinity pool was divine....as was the sunset! All in all - a perfect, peaceful getaway "

Wannara Hotel Hua Hin
Hua Hin City Center,Hua Hin / Cha-am - View on map
"Hotel is conveniently located to access all areas of Hua Hin. 5 min walk to beach, markets, nightlife of various bars, temples etc. 10 min walk to railway station, night markets and other shopping malls. On door step (<1min walk) are a number of quieter bars, French and Italian restaurants if not wanting travel far and some excellent massage options. Staff very friendly, had to move room as extended stay due to enjoying time in Hua Hin and cleaner helped me move even taking out if drawer in 1 room and putting in same drawer in next room. Saved packing and unpacking into suitcase. Pool was nice, shame area around not so big and had to keep moving sun lounger to follow sun! But everything else made up for it! Definitely stay again!"

Lake View Hotel And Golf Club
Cha Am Golf,Hua Hin / Cha-am - View on map
"Very happy to return to this hotel / golf club. Well treated by friendly English speaking staff. Good for my wife and daughter who are non golf players. Swimming for my daughter, relaxation for my wife. Unless you are going to just stay at the resort, you really need a car - easily hireable in Hua Hin for around a day. Breakfast, if they have many people is buffet, if they have just a few guests then you have a choice of Thai or American breakfast. I went for Thai, after I finished, the waiter came out with an American breakfast for me - just in case I didn't like the Thai one (which I did!). Typical of the hotel, happy to give, not always trying to take. Dinner at the hotel was good too - and very sensibly priced. We'll be again next visit!"
