Where to stay in Khao Yai National Park
Khao Yai National Park hotels & accommodations

The check in process was fast and easy. The reception explained in details and walked us through the room. The 2 bedroom suite was large, clean, well decorated, with nice view. The patio is large enough to have a dinner party. Breakfast is good with large selection and cook to order rice soup and egg bar. The pool is nice but not heated. We were able to dip in for a fe...

We stayed in a family suite (2 bedrooms and a common area with a big balcony) and it was very nice. Modern clean finishes and perfect setup for us. Location is great, about 5 minutes from Khao Yai National Park and 1 minute from the fun park called "Scenical World".... Breakfast was good, the grounds were beautiful, staff awesome. Some things are hard to believe th...

I’d recommend U Khao Yai to anyone thinking of staying in Khao Yai. Rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and beautiful; the shower even had seating! So lovely to return to after a long day out. Travelling as a family we appreciated the connecting rooms. The landscape and architecture was so lovely that we went out to the balcony even though it was cold out. Cute h...

Traveled with a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Booked Patra suite with extra bed. The resort is 159 KM from Bangkok, need a own transport, the resort is easily reachable. GPS 14.559493,101.256252. The resort is very clean and located between Greenery and mountains just 16 Km from the Khao Yai National park entrance.when I sent the picture of the resort with locati...

My second time here and again didn't disappoint. This is a new development approx 10min drive to the khao yai national park gate. Set in serene surroundings , it is a perfect place to escape. They have a very nice pool, bar/restaraunt and breakfast was always good. Some say the rooms are very small. The standard rooms are defibately smaller then you would expect but ...

The Resort was very clean, staff were extremely friendly and it was very quiet and I can say is the best place for couples. We went in end-May, the weather wasn't cool and many mosquitoes and insects, but it was a good experience for my daughter, for her to know getting away from City :P The resort was just too nice to be true, that we took many pictures :D But tran...

Getting away from urban rush? This is definitely the place to satisfy that desire. Price of accommodation is reasonable coupled with fantastic service from the staffs. The nearest attraction is Khao yai national park entrance. The bath tub right in the middle of the room is unique. Really suitable for laid back couples.

La Casetta is located in Toscana Valley estate, which is on the northern border of the Khao Yai National Park. It is at the back of the estate meaning you wake to great views of the lush hills. The hotel is a collection of stand alone blocks resembling 3 storey cottages with up to 8 rooms. We had a mountain view room which was spacious for 2 adults and our young so...

The Series Resort surprised me and my wife in many many ways. First, they remembered my casual remark via email that it was our anniversary vacation and they surprised us on the first night with a cake and hand-drawn anniversary card. And this was excellent for me, who did not plan any romantic activity in the first place. First impression for my wife (who is a perfec...

The hotel is simply AMAZING. Located a 25 mins drive from Khao Yai National Park it offers everything you may need for an unforgettable stay in that area. Besides the chic infinity pool, the great facilities (gym, spa), the cool design, the location completely immersed in the nature, there where two more things that left us speechless. First, the incredible friendly, s...

Stayed her with the wife and loved it, the hotel only has a few rooms and is on top of a small hill overlooking Kao Yai national park. Very nice quiet relaxing atmosphere and staff were very pleasant. Kao Yai only a 10 minute drive away and the whole area was very clean and free from litter rubbish which is so common in Thailand. The only negative point was that the br...

this is one of a place, located within a golf resort just outside of khao yai national park, a mere 3h trip from bangkok. we had a private pool villa, which was just excellent. nothing at all to complain about (maybe too many light switches, that are not easy to figure out and not enough hooks to hang your used/ wet clothes). for the price you pay here for a 140s...

hotel is very close to khao yai national park, but it has good play facilities for children, particularly a small water park. rooms were good sized and comfortable, although lighting for reading was a small problem. service was also excellent. overall, the best of the three places where we have stayed in khao yai.

Glamping made modern. Everything feels like a hotel, except you're staying in a tent with a modern shared bathroom and walking around the campsite with a lamp at night. Upon checking in, you're given a camp light and amenity bag that contains a tent key and mosquitoes repellent lotion. The facilities inside the tent were excellent, an air-conditioned tent with a queen-...

Staff very professional and eager to help. Free breakfast was fairly basic but adequate.Rooms were in good condition and clean.Only thing lacking in room was somewhere to put clothes. No drawers or closet provided.Have sense of privacy between rooms.Well spaced out around resort. There are plenty of dining options close by. Makro store just off main highway on way to r...

During our 2 night stay here, my wife and I were treated to stunning vistas of rolling mountains and cypress trees. I think Pak Chong province near Khao Yai National Park has an italian theme to it because most new developments are Italian Themed. This hotel is no exception. Food at the hotel was excellent and most vegetables in the menu are grown in the resort so it i...

i have been to khao yai so often and I choose only 5 star hotel or resort only. i could say this resort is one of the top 3 resort in khao yai. the facilities in the villa is superb or may be the best in khao yai. the staff is very very friendly and willing to help you everything they could do. dont hesitate to choose.

Road to resort is bumpy and unlit, but not too far from the main tourist attraction. Room is clean and not many mosquitoes, but toilet bowl get choke occasionally. Breakfast is basic buffet type mainly Thailand cuisine, which is not bad (noodle soup is a must try item). Even at night, there is a restaurant to order food, but not many people dine there though (food is n...

we were the only guests in the hotel during our stay but the service was still tip-top and the staff was very accommodating. it's newly opened and was a bit hard to find but we finally arrived and everything was ready for us (we were their first guests from agoda so they were very excited!) we brought our bikes so that we could go around the area but at 5:30 they took ...

Khao Yai attractions cover a large area, guests looking for adventure should consider hiring a driver. The hotel is located next to a newly built water theme park. There are also street food nearby. Great getaway for the family and for R&R after day trips to attractions around the Khao Yai area. The breakfast spread that came with the booking is good.

Our stay in Khao Yai was a short but memorable one because of this accommodation. Recommended by my sister, I'm so glad I took up the suggestion and stayed here too. I got a free upgrade to their best room to celebrate our anniversary. The room is so clean and spacious and beautiful, equipped with all the facilities you could possibly need in a room. I wouldn't even mi...

Very nice and unique hotel by the lush green Khao Yai National Park. Definitely feel like staying in Khao Yai National Park itself (especially in the residence and pool villa area). There are still lots of green and peaceful area preserved for outdoor activities i.e. jogging, cycling, golfing,..etc. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely fantastic resort! Hidden gem that's newly open for just 1 month. Highly recommended as the rooms and decor are beautiful, the bed is comfy and pool is really lovely. Waking up to a Khao Yai countryside but modern beautiful resort gives such good vibes. Most importantly the staff there, especially Mark and Aed were more that excellent. As we only knew English...

All is quite nice for me and my dear, the owner welcame us by themself amicably and suggested abt advancers what shld we have to do in this trip around Khao Yai even the pass way before the resort such as a scare us due to temple, but our thought were wrong that place is awesome before we reached through, beside road plant corn plus Toscana view so perfect! This is a newly open hotel, situated on the way to Khao Yai National Park. A good and quiet location. The room is very clean and tidy. Although it's not that spacious, but cozy enough for relaxation. The staff is very polite and friendly. I must admit I didn't expect that at first, even skeptic too, as I've sent 2 messages before my arrival date and never got any reply...

Our visit was from Sunday to Tuesday and we enjoyed a nice and relaxing visit in the pool villa. The villa was beautifull, but missed kitchenware if you would prefer to kook and/or eat in the villa (which we didnt need for our short stay). Location is great for families: khao yai national park, scenical world (next doors), primo piazzo. Would come back just for the...
Cheap places to stay in Khao Yai National Park

My friend and I were on the way back from touring the ancient Khmer ruins that lie on the Thai-Cambodian border in Isaan. We planned to spend a night in Pakchong, visit a friend and have a half day in the Khao Yai National Park. The hotel was easy enough to find and was in a perfect location for us being near our friend's house and near the park. The view was great a...

Great value accommodation very close to Khao Yai National Park and run by the wonderful Paphon whose passion for the local wildlife makes for a fantastic stay. Khao Yai attracts lots of wealthy Thais making the area pricey, so this quality budget guesthouse is an attractive oasis. It is quiet, out of the way (but does have a decent restaurant 600 yards away at the to...

We stayed at Ruen Khao Yai during our visit to the national park. Pros: it's stunning with a lot of attention to details, very clean and well taken care of, and had the comfiest beds during our trip in Thailand. Cons: it is a little off the main road (we had our own car so it was no issue) and there aren't many restaurants nearby (but we arrived late and left early so ...

The rooms were fairly simple but much nicer and more spacious than the modest room rates may have you expect. Although the lodge is right on a busy road, the rooms are in separate buildings in the back and are very quiet. The staff generally spoke enough English for easy communication, and they were all friendly and helpful. The best part was the tours. We did an e...

First we booked a tent according to the beautiful pictures they have on Agoda website with only B556 which seems a great deal. Only found there wasn’t any tent after 6.5hours of driving. Then they changed our accommodation to a room. They said the room is usually B2000, but they will give us a “discount” with B44. I had to bargain to make them give us B144 discount whi...

Location is quite rural but we have a driver with us so it's okay. Basic apartment but everything is in place like aircon, wifi, hot water and free breakfast bread and coffee /tea. Egg is at 10baht which is reasonable. But there wasn't any shop nearby and quiet. (Actually even if you stay at other hotel, is the same). Is a good experience.

I was looking for a place to escape civilization, and this was perfect. The rooms are spread out, and the complex is in a very retired area surrounded by mountains and full of green. The staff was soooo kind, more like friends to us. If you worry about the location cause you wanna go around Khao Yai you can always negotiate with them and they'll provide a personal driv...

This was my second time at this place. It's quite worth the value but with addition of great care taking from the staffs. This place is near Palio, small waterfall and many good restaurants. The room has standard facilities but not the type for spending whole day in the room.

Let me start with downsides which basically were only two. If you are a visitor to the Khao Yai national park, then the location of the property is clearly a liability. The property is located seemingly in the middle of nowhere and just to get there, you must pay 500 baht to a taxi in Pak Chong. The same way goes on your way back. So if you are there to visit the park,...

Hotel management needs to seriously upgrade wifi as it is a necessity and standard for all guests because everyone needs access. Reply from staff was "sometimes wifi reaches individual room". Is this acceptable excuse ? For management/owner if they want repeated patronage or free promotion via guests' verbal channels, should upgrade coverage and also if possible provid...

It was hard to find at first if we are not familiar with Khao Yai. It is about half and hour to 45 minutes drive from the national park. The place is located in a farm setting and very good for back packing and relaxing. You can chill out at night and eat barbeque where the facility provide the coal grill oven for you but need to bring your own coal. The place is own b...

The hostel located nearby Palio Khai Yai. Overall the environment is good with surrounded by trees just like forest. The facility provided in our room is good enough. Staff very considerable when I requested for late check out due to night check in from the previous night.

Baan Rom Yen Klang Dong is clean, new, and quiet. The bathroom was spotless and and the bed was comfortable. The room had a nice fridge and ice cold water. It's located just off of the main road and is convenient if you have your own transportation. The staff is also friendly and helpful. After checking out we realized that we had forgotten our cellphone in the roo...

Ma Moths House provides cozy and clean rooms which are built separately in 3 small houses (studio rooms) plus 1 room on a second floor of the main building (standard room). The concierge was a friendly woman but not very proficient in English. Still no problems in communication. It's a local-oriented stay since during our visit we have observed only Thai guests. Neve...

The resort located further away from the main road but if guests have their own car, it would be a good and reasonable place to stay as it's peaceful and quiet location. You can drive approximately 15 - 20 minutes to Khao Yai attractions such as Palio Mall and trendy restaurants or cafe. We travel for 5 persons and stay in family room. The room is good size where pro...

We spent four nights at Baan Kinlom Chom Daw Khao Yai in order to spend three full days exploring Khao Yai National Park. The location was excellent for us to explore the National Park. We were very only a short ride from the hotel to the park, which meant that we could maximize our time in the park. The accommodations were very clean and simple. We chose to stay h...

Huge, clean, quiet, next to Palio Khao Yai, near Khao Yai National Park Northern entrance (10 minutes drive) and located within an hour radius of some of the many attractions in Khao Yai. Breakfast was basic toast bread with jam and coffee if you aren't a fussy eater. Many restaurants and cafes are available along the same street, but transportation is required.

The owner was educated in US, speaks fluent English. The price is affordable with lots of green space. Breakfast was lovely. The highlight was that we were able to buy some organic eggs and mangos at the resort and bring them straight from the tree to our table. And they were inexpensive. Owner was very friendly.

Room was huge and spacious. With lounge sofa. My room had this amazing view that was facing the mountains, and the design of the room is just so stylish and modern. A dream come true! However, we encountered some problems with our water heater. The water can't seem to stay warm for long, and this can get quite uncomfortable as the temperature in Khao Yai dips at night....

Lived up to it's name SPLENDID... we had to book this last minute due to the homestay we booked were far too small from expected. We had to call Splendid to check on the availability and to arrange for a taxi to pick us from Pak Chong. The staff was responsive and helpful to get us a taxi. The hotel rooms are clean, spacious and considered value for money for a las...

Khun Tuey was very helpful both before reservation (lots of information provided) and on arrival. He also made sure we had a pleasant stay. The housekeepers are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this place for family or friends gathering/bonding as it gives you such space you won't find in any hotels. The house is huge, it looks like a hotel. Built an...

Really enjoyed our short stay. It took awhile to find since my GPS died on my phone. I called the resort and the owner came quickly to where I was located and escorted me on my motorcycle to the hotel. Located very near Khoa Yai National Park. Great place to stay in a quiet setting filled with all the nature has to offer.

We had a really fun time at Villa Paradis, we are a group of family with 3 rooms. The staff kindly put us together in the same area. We also called in the last minute to add 2 extra beds, which they prepared for us. Breakfast was basic, we had to wait for quite a while before the food is served. Location is private, you will need a car as you do with all hotels in Khao...

I thought it was a resort but it is bed&breakfast. Anyway, we enjoyed staying like a home, very relax & cozy. It was so silent, no other guests as there are only 1 villa with 2 bedrooms and another room for 2 persons. What good is it is pet welcomed but they charged 500 Baht. However, as the landlord do everything by themselves, the cleanliness needs to be improved a b...

Villa is clean and there's a small private pool with float for the kids. The villa also provides bicycles for you to explore within Marino. Location is quite far but as we chartered transport daily, this is not an issue since the van can drive in straight to the villa to pick us up.

if you look for a vacation house in khao yai for 4-6 people. this is the place. hgv is a 2 bedroom villa so it is perfect for small family (parents with kids) or group of friends to hang out. sipping wine, enjoying the scene of this nice villa and dipping your legs to the pool in front of the house is the best moment of the trip.

D Varee Charnvee (formerly Rancho Charnvee) is a really peacefull resort in a beautiful area close to the border of Khao Yai National park. The room was a little small, with just the beds and the toilet. Staff's English was very limited, but nonetheless they were always very courteous and smiley. Breakfast was slow and a little disappointing. But good thing was the villa is located next to the Chocolate Factory, which is one of the most recommended restaurant to visit in Khao Yai.

There is no problem to find the place with GPS but the resort staff didn’t tell us where is our unit and didn’t tell us no need to check in, how and where to get the unit keys. We realised that there are many different companies resorts at Marino. We went many rounds. So the driver called the resort, the staff doesn’t know how to speak Simple English. Our driver too...
