"The lady that checked us in was very nice, the hotel itself is actually nice for its location and price. Not updated but I wouldn't expect that in this area. The shower broke in our room so had to be moved to another, the previous room was much nicer, but moving us wasn't a problem. The breakfast was good, plenty on offer and the views from the balcony on top were beautiful. Would stop again if doing the Mae Hong Son loop again."

"Just below a hill-tribes market place along the road to the Thung Bua Tong flower fields at the Doi Mae U Kho mountain there are 5 large white (yurt-style) tents. Three outhouses are located between the tents and the marketplace/road. The view and especially the sunset from these tents is really amazing. Seeing these hill-tribes people to work in these very steap and well maintained fields is impressive. As expected at this elevation of about 1400 meters, the nights are quiet cold in these tents. There is also no shower available. The only opportunity to wash yourself is with water from a water bucket in the outhouse. Would there be a possibiltiy to have a shower, I could immediately recommend this place. "
