Outstanding Customer Service”

Our stay with Khwan Beach Resort was a memorable one, but not without a few problems which were resolved. First off our pickup didn't show up at the airport, this seemed to be a communication problem between Agoda/Bookings.com and the Resort. The resort didn't get my reply with my flight arrival details, the resort immediately offered to refund my taxi charge. The rest of the time was a pure pleasure. Our villa was a single story villa with private pool, brand new. As many brand new things, they are sometimes not quite perfect, but we just told the staff the issues and they we promptly fixed, no issues. They arranged a scooter for us to get around in and they delivered freshly cooked breakfast right to our villa every morning. The owner of the resort was also very helpful and seeked constructive feedback. The resort I located in a more quite part of samui but still close to all the major attractions and great restaurants. I can highly recommend Khwan beach resort. I will sure go back.

Relaxing seaside camp/glamp experience ”

Khwan Beach Resort was an exceptional experience in Samui. Very chic and comfortable , perfect for a couples' getaway. At the eastern end of Maenam beach, it felt very private but still close enough to eateries/activities. Although not on the beach, it's a short stroll through a shaded tunnel to the sand. (There's a great drink shack to the right, run by Eddy. Fresh coconuts and smoothies, also thai beer). The staff was lovely, very friendly and attentive. (Make sure to get a cocktail from Tay at the bar.) We stayed in Tamarind Villa and although it's a tented suite, it was definitely a glamourous camp. The outdoor bathroom was the best part, it was wonderful to shower underneath the full moon and stars. Koh Samui was a beautiful island to explore but Khwan Beach made it a sweet getaway. Thanks for everything! I highly highly recommend.

An experience for any couple”

Different to most other hotel / resort stays, I would highly recommend Khwan Beach Resort to any couple looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Koh Samui's busy areas. I stayed in the tent villa (Coconut room). The interior decorations take you away to another time. The outdoor bathroom is a good twist as well. We were lucky enough to have some time to enjoy the pool by ourselves late one afternoon, there was hardly anyone using it, but it was in great condition (I think it's quite new - mid 2017). The staff are extremely professional, including reception, restaurant and concierge. The food at the restaurant is high quality too. Reception can help you with tours and any travel requests around Koh Samui. If you're keen to check out the surrounding area on your own, it's a short walk up the main road to a small strip with restaurants and massage studios. The beach is beautiful with soft white sands. Well worth a stay here.

Taking the personal touch to the next level. ”

Our stay at Khwan Beach Resort was more than just a holiday. We were there to do our pre-wedding photoshoot, and the directors of the villa were so gracious and accommodating in arranging every single detail for us. From helping us to find a makeup artist, to ensuring that our wedding attires were immaculately ironed, to making sure that the entire preparation was a breeze for us. We loved the river-view pool villa we stayed in, because of the view it had and also the personal and unique touches within the villa. Two nights in the villa was not enough and we are definitely looking forward to returning to Khwan Beach Resort again. This is the place to stay in if you want excellent customer service and beautiful villas to spend your time. A stone's throw away from the beach and amenities, we will definitely be back!

Truly amazing!”

Khwan Beach Resort was truly amazing. Located on a lovely beach, not ruined from mass tourism. The beach of Maenam is very clean and laid back. The private pool villa was completely private. All mod cons in room, excellent wifi connection and Bluetooth Wireless Speaker for outside. The villa was very tastefully decorated with a lot of attention paid to fine detail. If you want to leave your private pool and venture to the lovely beach, its only a 2 minutes walk and the staff will bring you an umbrella and a big cushion to lie on. The location has got a good selection of restaurants. Staff were good and the French owner was very friendly. They just finished building the new restaurant on the premises.. looked amazing! You will not regret booking this lovely resort.

Had an amazing time staying at Khwan Beach Resort. Great location near Maenam beach, nice quiet part of Koh Samui. Lots of restaurants and bars near by. Villas are top notch, very clean and luxurious. Would recommend to anyone!

Everything was perfect!”

Everything was amazing in Khwan beach resort. My girlfriend and I stayed for 7 days, we stayed in all three types of rooms (Tented Villa, Private Pool Villa and Duplex Pool Villa), and we love them all! The service was excellent, both the outdoor and private pool was awesome, the restaurant Passa was great too, the villa owner spent a lot of time working in house and interacting with the guests, excellent hospitality! Our trip ended with a special souvenir doll from the owner to my girlfriend :D We will definitely come back!

Experiencing by luck a special promotion night due occupancy, I got so lucky to spend a short stay there Everything near dream, from pick-up to check -in an amazing reception sala, kindness, caring and profesionalism of staff to the extraordinary duplex private pool villa for surely 1/3rd of a normal price of the best rated 5* around whom cannot technically compete such privacy and set up !!! Views are there very exceptional with a river along the villa, the beach 50 Meters away, the ocean and look over the Island of Koh Phangan nearby. I enjoyed an exceptional butler service as well brought at any wished time to the privacy of your villa. privacy but not surrounded as usual by walls !! No one could see me but I could enjoy the view around from the master bedroom balcony in the evening with a nice glass of wine. breakfast was brought as well at the villa on time and succulent, diner was also available to be delivered in the living room set as a dining one under request but I prefered to have a walk 300 Meters away to a nice little street of Maenam center where I could find all kinds of restaurants. I specially appreciated the expresso coffee machine and various coffees at my free disposal and the unbeliavable decorated shower half outside to enjoy the tropical weather and the sight of the coconut and mango trees around overlightened by the sky stars. Dream also completed by the cocooned atmosphere and the decoration set as being the only Gallery hotel in Thailand together with the amazing swimming pool multicoloured from the evening through the night by rotating lightening spots Inside !!! For sure any guest like me will definitely come back many times, I recommand especially for couples and of course honeymooners for a one life time experience

My husband and I were looking for a warm and lovely resort for a short getaway. We found Khwan and it was absolutely amazing location. We enjoyed very much of the private villa as well as the beach (1 min walking distance). The Tuesday night dinner at the resort’s restaurant named Passa was a great memory too. They have live music on every Tuesday at the restaurant. We chilled at our private villa and surrounding the resort for the whole day. The selections of breakfast set always make my husband and I undecided as there are many choices. Overall, we love it and hope to be back to the resort soon.

We loved Khwan! ”

Great hotel. We had a small villa with a splash pool and it was fantastic. It's not directly on the beach but it's a very short walk. The beach is basically private and the staff will bring you a beach umbrella and bean bag chairs. We were often the only people out there. Resort prices for food and drinks but there's a street nearby with a couple decent restaurants. And several decent bars/restaurants on the beach within a very short walk. Short taxi ride to Fisherman's village (Bo Phut). Only downside to the location/island is that taxi costs are relatively high. But all in all we loved it at Kwhan.

Great resort for couple”

We are enjoying a wonderful good time at Khwan glamping, I especially like the tub and shower kit and the food price is decent without extra charge. A great pleasure meeting the owner in person as well! Would choose again!

The style is highlight”

I have been stay with my wife in the tent for 3 days, when we see the style and decoration, we immediately book this room, and also the it is truly a lovely room, decoration and style is so fancy. But also there are still quite some negative points, 1. All the tents are on the street side, Thai motorbike are extremely loud and annoying, also some construction work is on-going, you can basically forget about deep late sleep. 2. Room are hot, air condition seems not sufficient to conquer the heat, I only got more acceptable in the night. 3.Mosquito!!! They really active also because the air is not cool enough. Although with all above negative points, we still love the hotel, it is worth to try once you are in samui

Excellent eco friendly resort ”

We stayed two nights at tented guest room. It’s not as busy as a luxurious 5stars hotel w many people, we had a pleasant kids-free quiet stay instead. The staff is friendly and the in-room massage is just heavenly relaxing. The price at the resort is fair, we enjoyed the food and drinks so mostly just consumed in the resort even if there’s just one restaurant, the choices of menu are great. Easy access to the beach by 3mins walk. I’d love to go back again.

Though it’s away from most popular places in Samui but silent and close to the beach. Rent a car will be a good choice to enjoy the stay. Very like the design and decoration which is very important part of villa :) Also the restaurant provides tasty food

Great hotel almost directly on the beach. Villas are clean, cozy, with great pool outside and 50m from the wonderful beach. Be mindful of the current construction of a restaurant and a few more villas, but it's not really something to be bothered. Everything was great about the place, people, food and services. Worth every penny and more. The 2 weeks we spent there were such a bliss and we'll recommend it for anyone seeking good comfort, value for money, awesome service and less crowded location with great beach. Truly the best hotel I've seen so far.

Exceptional”

When we arrive our villa was not ready and they upgraded us to bigger villa with two floors. Just perfect. The hotel ourner I just so friendly and nice.. The reception made everything for us to have a great stay. They booked us a tour and the boat to go to koh phangan for us to go after check out. Highly recommend if you want to stay calm and run away from the beaches packed of people. The beach was almost empty and you could rent the paddle boards and jet sky.

Beautiful ”

We stayed in the double tent with another couple. The tents are really nice and clean. However, you have to deal with a few bugs and mosquitos as expected. The food in the restaurant serves fresh, tasty and nicely presented dishes. The Thai food caters to a foreign palette so if you like it spicy or local style let them know. We were traveling with picky eaters that were scared of spicy food and concerned about cleanliness in others restaurants but they approved of the food here. The pool is refreshing and the pool bar is nice to get a cocktail and relax. You’re a 1 minute walk to the beach that is very safe for swimming too if you want to enjoy the sea. The staff are amazing and made our stay comfortable and relaxing. I would recommend definitely this resort and if I returned I’d like to stay in one of the villas!

Glamped in their stunning tents. Not right on Maenam's Beachfront, unfortunately, which has to be one Samui's most, if not the most, beautiful beaches on the island. However, it is only one minute walk away from the resort. The restaurant served incredible food from their very accomplished Belgian chef. The staff were fantastic too. Very nice.

Great hotel but the Glamping can be improved”

Its most great value for the money I paid. However, the glamping suites require better Air conditioning or the air conditioning to be re-adjusted. I stayed in the Tamarind Suite, and it was, by all means, was quaintly decorated. However, it was difficult to fall asleep without a cold shower as the room was way too warm my liking. The ceiling fan didn't help either. As my flight was late in the afternoon, I relaxed by the pool. When I asked the staff if there was a place to shower and change they said yes, but, only to realise, to my disappointment it just a toilet at the restaurant. :( This hotel has great promise to be an authentic 5* experience if they can improve the little things in service level. As they have done so much already in the rooms.
