Great holiday getaway!”

Spent 4 full days at Kirati Beach Resort. Stayed in the newly constructed building set a bit further back from the beach (the bungalows also looked nice and were closer to the ocean). The room was spacious, clean, had a small safe in the room and a small refrigerator. Only downside of the room was there were no screens on the balcony door so couldn't keep it open and had to use the AC. The staff were very nice and helpful. They rent out motorbikes day for used or day new. The food at the restaurant was very good as well but a bit overpriced - however, I could say that for all of the restaurants on the beach. The high tide comes all the way up to the steps of the beach restaurant at Kirati and there isn't much beach in front when the tide is out (mostly rocks). However, just a few meters down and you'll find plenty of sand and lounge chairs. There were a lot of families with children on the beach when I was there and the beach had a nice laid-back feel to it. If you travel by boat to Samui island it is cheaper to book a seat on the shuttle van as opposed to having the hotel pick you up for 650baht one-way from the pier. Over all, it was a very pleasant place and would go back again.

On the beach”

Kirati Beach Resort has a great location, friendly and helpful staff and good bungalows. The property is on the beach and it's about a 30 second walk from your door to the lounge chairs situated at the beach. The bungalows have an indoor shower with hot water, free coffee and water, cable TV (all Thai channels), perfect AC, a fan and a safety deposit box. They have a restaurant and bar you can order from while on the beach. Their property is between multiple massage tents, so you won't have to go far to get a massage. The staff is very friendly and arranged our ferry and transportation to the pier. The only cons Kirati is that you have to travel down a dirt path to reach the resort, but it's well lit at night and the walk is only 6minutes to the main road with all the restaurants and the 7-11. Kirati is a very calm place and isn't a party hotel, which is a perk. Definetly a good value for the money and a great location to relax and unwind.

Beautiful on the beach”

Cottage K16 right on the beach was magnificent,great view from room and balcony , restaurant,bar,massage all within 10 metres, minimart 1 minute, restaurants on main road 5 minutes walk. Jetski,s and kayaks/canoes 1 minute staff were very welcoming, and professional . Don't listen to stupid reviewers about rocks on beach or in water, beach is wonderful, Kirati resort 10/10 :-)

Great location and friendly staff.”

We had a great time! The beach is great for swimming and good for children as it's shallow even at high tide. Kirati doesn't have their own pool but we spent a lot of time at the pool next door because our family were staying there. The staff were helpful and friendly and offered help with transport. We stayed in a family room in the main building and the room was really open and spacious. Great location for families.

Brand new and at the time very quiet resort hotel”

Due to its peaceful location (in a small bay in the northeast of Ko Samui), this small beach resort hotel offers very comfortable and brand new rooms with a smile. We enjoyed the fact it was so quiet (we stayed in mid November, so not really high season for this region).

This was my perfect spot”

So the biggest Pro about this place is definitely location, location, location! It was seriously stunning. While some of the tables and chairs, Etc at the restaurant and bar could use a little bit of love I really enjoyed how simple and rustic it all was. Plus, there was tons of seating for everyone including lounge chairs which is not often the case. I was surprised to find they had a pool too! Not that I needed that much. The one drawback for me is that the Wi-Fi was not working properly in the main building so I had to go down to the beach to use it. The menu is a little bit strange in that it is all over the place but it was no better or worse than any of the other restaurants along the beach. The better deal is to go into town and find a place. By town I mean the strip of restaurants and shops that are about a 10-minute walk from the resort. I was in heaven because of all the massage places that are there too! It was wonderfully relaxing and I would most definitely go back!

quiet and great place to stay ”

We loved our stay at Kirati. The bungalow rooms are great for privacy and comfort. I would of loved a hammock but can't really complain. Also the lady's giving massages were excellent.

Hidden Gem”

A fantastic place to stay, (best place we stayed at in Thailand). Lovely cosy bungalows with your own balcony & all amenities required, (fan, AC, fridge, safe, toiletries, towels, beach towels, hot shower), local supermarket just around the corner & local town a 10 minute walk away. Accomodation, massages, food and drink is all very reasonably priced, (fabulous cocktails for 80 BHT). Really amazing food, (huge menu with masses of choice); - highly recommend the crab & mango salad with lime dressing...so tasty! Great live singer on the beach every other night and super douper friendly staff, that are always on hand to help. Reception are always happy to assist with organising taxi's and ferries, getting you the best price. We would definitely stay there again if in that neck of the woods, as they really made our trip!

Great, relaxing hotel with excellent service!”

The hotel was great! i definitely would go back again. The staff were so friendly and helpful! The hotel is practically on the beach and a few metres away from a restaurant and other great hotels and restaurants. Small resort but very relaxing and peaceful. Close to the markets/shops!

Resort at ChoengMon Beach”

We brought our pet dog here, and was absolutely welcomed. The staff are friendly, and helpful, took care of us well. I emailed the hotel to inform we are coming with our pet dog, and we had the room in the new building, ground floor. Car park is literally right outside our room, so loading and unloading luggage from car was a breeze. Beach in front of the hotel is nice. Rent a car or motorbike to get around, otherwise you may need to walk on unpaved driveway (not a good idea if it rains) from the main road to the hotel.

Budget hotel at nice beach”

Hotel locates at nice Choeng mon beach, which is good if you on vacation with children. We've stayed in Deluxe wooden hut which is just on the beach, but view to sea is partly closed by massage salon. (Even if you are not staying in this hotel, I would recommend visiting this massage salon) We saw rooms in new building and they are big and clean. Stuff in hotel is very friendly and always trying to help. So in few words: it is nice small family hotel with budget prices.

Lovely little spot and service with many smiles”

Great place for budget travelers who like a bit of comfort (housekeeping and modern basic amenities). Right next to the beach with lots of massage huts/station. Very friendly and helpful receptionist named Po. Very honest too, for I accidentally left a bottle of cream liquor behind and when I returned to retrieve it an hour later, I discovered that she helped me chill it in the room fridge! I like that she's very good with helping to book the snorkeling tour too. Be warned though, the room we stayed in (2nd floor; as in, Thai 2nd floor) may potentially have bed bugs because my traveling partner got an insect bite and it didn't look like a mosquito bite. I didn't try the food there because I had other plans so I can't say anything about it aside from the fact that lobster was 190 baht per 100 gm when I was there. Oh, and if you want reading material (like tourist information and guides, as well as German novels/translated text), there are plenty of them in the lobby.

cozy place”

We spent only one night in a bungalow - it was cool. The restaurant of the resort is very good, the bungalow was nice, the beach location is very good! It might seem a bit strange at first (the road to the resort is kind of creepy) but in the end - it's a nice place.

Fantastic Location”

We had a deluxe wooden hut. Which we loved. There is a very relaxed feel about the Kirati. The only down point was the noisy aircon.

Nice quiet and relaxing a place to stay”

We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this to others who are looking a nice quiet and relaxing place to stay in Samui. Staff is great at helping us during our stay specially with finding things to do on the island.

A little over rated from the pictures but generally acceptable”

If you are looking at no frills and a room for 4 paxs at good good rate, Kirati Beach Resort can be considered pretty good. But I think the term "resort" is not exactly appropriate here when facilities are limited.

Great hotel on the beach”

Staff was amazing, so kind and accommodating for our needs. We loved all the cute little dogs that live at the hotel. We felt right at home. I would definitely recommend staying in the hotel building, the bungalows are pretty rustic and can have creepy crawlers. They have free kayaks for guest use and live music some nights right on the beach. I would def stay here again, but only in the hotel building.

Pleasant bungalow but not top service”

The bungalow was simple but pleasant with terrasse in garden and very close to the beach. Lobby building new and nice. An employee named Noi, was always ready for you with smile but this was not the same and the smile was not the rule for mamy others of them. One day no cleaning of the room. The breakfast was complete and good. Prices of meal too expensive for the place, others hotel on the beach better. Simple inn on the beach on a quiet place. The family owner could have a lovely address if they pay more attention to their guess an to their hotel.

Perfect for honeymoon”

Staffs are excellent. Location is good for honeymoon couple, is a quiet place. 10 mins from town by motorcycle. We rented the banglow unit, right at the beach, the room is clean. A lot of mosquitoes, big mosquitoes !

Quiet location close to beach”

Resort is away from the more commercialised part of the island eg Chaweng yet is within reach of various attractions. Handy having a restaurant onsite right next to the beach. 3 drinks offered for breakfast but they were all delivered at the same time instead of staggered through the meal. (We paid for our own breakfasts).
