“Going downhill”
I've stayed here a number of times, including an extended stay when I first moved to Christchurch. What a bummer that it seemed it disrepair since I had last been there. Breakfast apparently no longer exists, the patio furniture had taken a serious beating, and the bathrooms were dirty (especially a shame as at least one of them was only redone 2 years ago.) Maybe it's just a covid thing and hopefully they'll spruce it up again. Used to be the best hostel in Christchurch.
