A real nice place on Pasai Beach!”
First we just loved Koh Yao Nai. Just what we were looking for after 5 days in busy, crazy Ao Nang. Don’t get me wrong as Ao Nang is probably wonderful for many people but too busy and hectic for my wife and my taste. Probably would have been nice 15 years ago. We really liked Koh Yao Beach Bungalow. It is just across the road from Masai Beach which is one of the better beaches on Koh Yao Noi. The Bungalows are very clean and well kept. We got an A/C Bungalow however the fan Bungalows looked extremely nice also. Water pressure on the shower was a bit low and our had one of those wet bathroom showers so common in Asia. The TV had one English station but then we are in Thailand. The staff were very helpful. We rented a M/C from them while there and I would recommend renting one to getting around Noi. We were on the beach often as we were so very close. Beach is at its best at or near high tide. Koh Yoa Beach Bungalows are a ways from the main town on Noi but small markets are close.

Was a perfect getaway in a perfect location!”
My friend and I are travelling around Thialand and got sick of being on the move surrounded by so many people in the towns. We wanted to come to Koh Yao Noi to get away from it all. It is the most charming place I've ever been too! We went mid-November so it was very quiet. We had the beach to ourselves! The staff here got us bikes to rent for the day for cheap (160 baht) and we toured the beautiful island. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The beds weren't overly comfortable but we were just happy to have a big bed after our hostel travelling! The bathroom was clean as well and having aircon was really nice. It was right across the road from the beach which was absolutely beautiful. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and helpful to any and all of our needs. The have many cats in the main bungalow lobby. They are also very friendly to play with :). All in all, I would definitely stay here again and the Agoda price is the best option! With the price we paid, it was everything we wanted! One thing ... They don't have wifi in the rooms, only in the restaurant and lobby but that just makes it an even nicer getaway!

Great spot for Ko Yao Noi”
Great location across from the beach, however you can really only swim at high tide anywhere on the island. Ko Yao is more for the boat trips to small islands close by, and the drive through the interior countryside is beautiful. Our air-con room was large and nice and clean (the bathroom needed some tender touches, but the hot water was good). The breakfast was also very good. We went around the entire island on a tuk-tuk, and we were very glad that we stayed on Pasai Beach, close to many restaurants and boat tour stands. We used Koh Yao Island Tour and were very happy. P.S. Air conditioning is nice to have.

Nice bungalows. Right across the street from the beach, so about 2 min walk to the beach. Italian restaurant, serving international and Thai food also across the street. Few shops for groceries & clothes and also a couple restaurants down the street a few minutes walk away. To explore the island best rent a scooter. Would stay again if in Koh Yao Noi.

I came to work at koh yao for a day. I stay with my girlfriend and friend, there give us 1 more towel with no charge. Which is nice. The room is clean. Location is close to the beach,but far from the market.

There are nicer bungalows near by”
We had been travelling for 3 weeks and Koh Yao Nai was our last stop before flying home. We searched Agoda to get an idea of accommodation and our preference was at 2 other places however they were booked or at least Agoda stated they were not available for our dates. We booked at Koh Yao cottages as Agoda said it was the last room. We were given an air conditioned bungalow at the road side. The other air com bungalows were not occupied so this was definitely not the last available room. The wooden fan bungalows further back from the road were nice and would not have had the road noise. They were also a lot cheaper. There was a small bar area but the restaurant was under renovation so food was not available. However you can eat across the road or a short walk down the road. Our transfer to the airport was late in the afternoon and we were not able to keep the room longer than the check out time of midday . We were asked to vacate the room earlier. The bungalow was a good standard and an ideal location across the road from the beach. There are a lot of bungalows being built on the island and it won't be long until it will be busier but we like it as it is now quiet and relaxing. There are nice bungalows near by Pasai and Coconut. The island is easy to explore on a bike or moped

My return vist to a good resort”
My 2nd visit, on this 4 month trip. I booked the first night, then negotiated a better price for 4 more. Quieter than my first stay, as the Xmas/New Year hoards had vanished. Comfortable and roomy bungalow, close to a good beach and walkable distance from a number of beach and roadside restaurants. My only complaint would be that there is an apparently unused, large cement mixer, in the middle of the garden area, which is the focal point of 10+ bungalows. Why it can't be relocated, out of sight, has me wondering. I intend to return to this resort, at the end of my holiday, as I need to finish my trip, in Phuket, which is a short boat ride away.

Spoilt by noisy Thai families, on holiday”
My 4th short stay on Koh Yao Noi during my 4 month Thai island tour. Passing through as I make my way back to Phuket. My 3rd time at Beach Bungalows. Spoilt on my 2nd night by 3 or more Thai families (with too many kids) arriving at 10pm and charging around, until 2am. This week is school holidays, so I checked out and went in search of somewhere quieter. Also tried to negotiate a lower rate, to match the Agoda price, but they wouldn't budge, so I booked my 2nd night on Agoda. Staff appear to have lost interest in looking after foreign tourists and appear to favour the visiting locals. It's gone down in my ratings. I moved to Passai Cottages. Same quality and price, but breakfast included. KY Beach advertise a restaurant, but it doesn't exist, only an expensive bar.

Decent bungalow near beach with breathraking views”
My friends and I enjoyed our stay here very much! We had requested a garden bungalow because a former reviewer recommended to avoid the street (beachfront) and were really happy there. The beach is perfect for swimming most of the day and even at low tide it's a wonderful place because of the absolutely amazing view in the islands! I totally recommend this place to everyone!

Not bad ”
You can't beat the location. And while it might have been nice to have a somewhat airtight bungalow instead of one with so many holes in the walls and floor that you could see though parts of it, at least it came with a mosquito net. Not the best place I've ever stayed but definitely not the worst. The mosquito net was effective. The porch was nice to relax on. The beach was right across the street. The staff was somewhat abrupt and didn't have our room ready at check in time but eventually it was worked out. I would consider staying there again as the price was quite good.

Great value and excellent location”
The family was very kind to us when we stayed here. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The location is perfect with the beach right across the road and restaurants within walking distance. We rented a motorbike and explored the island. The beaches are very natural and not crowded. This is not a party place but is perfect for anyone who wants to get away from the crowds. We loved this island. The owner gave us free breakfast with the air conditioning bungalow. The food was delicious and the service was good.

Excellent”
We stopped two nights here, the bungalow was very clean, there was a kettle and fridge in the room. There was a nice patio we could sit outside and see the sea from there, although not all the bungalows had this. There was a road between us and the beach but it was never busy, just watch out for the "tourists" on their rented scooters. The beach is lovely, plenty of shade and good for swimming. Several restaurants are within a short walk, but no shop, you would need a scooter to get to the 7/11 and market across the island. Reception helped out when we were looking to get our bicycles on the speedboats, you can also buy one of any number of tours here.

Quiet, peaceful, relaxing, beautiful.”
Fantastic bungalows located right across the road from the beach. Staff were friendly and cheerful and helpful. Hotel had basics plus cheap and easy bicycle and motorbike rental. Located less than 100m from adventure tours, kayak rental, and more. Great place, will definitely be going back.

Better than expected.”
Despite some negative reviews, I chose this property, but booked for one night only. I took an additional two nights, the next day, with a 100Bt discount, per day. The place, itself, is quiet and relaxing. Even the 'back' bungalows are in a nice garden setting and, probably quieter than the roadside options. In fact, my only complaints would be the late night noise, from passing traffic and the beer-fuelled whooping of some of the neighbouring resort clients. KohYao Noi - and this is my 5th visit, in as many years - is slowly becoming more and more 'yob' visited, as larger and larger resorts, catering for the seemingly endless influx of unsophisticated 'new' Europeans, spring up around the lovelier beaches. This resort is a good, value for money, option, but take it while the island still has low visitor numbers.

Great Place to Stay”
Good value for money. We stayed in a fan bungalow. The staff were extremely helpful and helped us to arrange a tour of Phang Nga bay, as well as organising our onward travel when we left. We were able to extend our stay while we were there with no hassle. The beach is just across the road and there are plenty of nearby restaurants, including the one onsite. We would definitely stay again.

Close to beach, nothing too special but good value”
Quiet as bungalows are made of concrete and most lie a bit away from the street. Clean rooms. The kind of place to stay which just works, without anything sticking out, neither negative nor positive. They can arrange tours and rent out motorbike, so a solid place to explore the island while having fast beach access and being close to service and restaurants.

Centrally located, close to beach ”
Good sized bungalow with fridge, A/C & hot water & a covered porch, ideal for relaxing & enjoying the tropical breezes. The beach is across the street and there are several restaurant options close by. As in many bathrooms in Asia, the sinks always seem to leak, leaving the floor moist. Having said that, I would definitely stay here again. Staff were friendly and the gardens well maintained with hedges between bungalows for privacy.

Good value spot near the beach”
We stayed in the air-conditioning bungalow and the room was large with a frig and separate bathroom. The shower had hot water and worked well. The bed was harder than I normally like but I slept fine. The air-conditioning worked well. The staff is responsive when you ask for something. The only negative things are that the bathroom sink drain was filthy and partially clogged and the sheet is not large enough for the king size bed.
