Fabulous stay”

We have nothing but a fabulous review of our stay at Krabi Home Resort. Situated in Tub Kaek beach it is a small quiet part of Krabi - just what we wanted for our getaway. We chanced upon it last minute and had only one night booked as we were moving on to Aonang Beach area. Well we departed for our other hotel and it was so awful that we came straight back to Krabi Home Resort (luckily they had room!) The staff and in particular Chai were so polite and helpful. They happily arranged transport and a a couple of day excursions for us too. The Resort has only been open for 7 months so the rooms were extremely clean and nicely decorated. The restaurant Mamas served such good food as well. 5 star presentation and taste! We were made to feel extremely welcome and were so sad to leave. Will definitely go back there! Thank you for our wonderful stay!

Perfect relaxing honeymoon”

Krabi Home Resort was the perfect end to our 2 week honeymoon in Thailand. The location at the incredible beautiful Tub Kaek Beach with views of the islands that dot Phang Na Bay, was peaceful and relaxing with only a few other hotels lining the beach and far from touristy Ao Nang. The rooms were modern, clean and very comfortable, with private balconies and a gigantic open-air shower. The staff was really friendly and accommodating and made our stay as stress-free as possible. Breakfast at the hotel down the beach was fantastic (a mix of Western + Eastern with great coffee, pastries and fresh fruit) and lunch + dinner at Mama's was excellent Thai food + cocktails at reasonable prices. Free paddle board + kayak rentals was a great bonus that we took advantage of. They also offer massages and long tail boat island tours (we did the Hong Island tour - highly recommend!). Overall, everything was perfect for a quiet, relaxing stay at the beach. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing hidden spot!!”

Our stay at Krabi Home Resort was by far the highlight of our stay in Thailand!! First of all, Tub Kaek beach is much less crowded than the more famous Ao Nang and Railay beaches which are simply overcrowded. Secondly, the hotel bungalows are super clean, spacious, and decorated with very good taste. The hotel is rather small and feels very cozy, which we loved (and was a big advantage over other hotels on the same beach which are larger and feel a lot more impersonal) Thirdly, the staff is super friendly and helpful, they made us feel really pampered throughout our stay. And finally, the hotel restaurant is very good, serves tasty food at a reasonable price. We loved this place and already want go back!

Perfect Boutique Resort on a lovely beach”

Krabi Home Resort was the perfect place to stay! I booked Krabi Home Resort based on prior reviews and it didn't disappoint. We arrived early, but the staff allowed us to check in early to our beach front bungalows. We spent hours paddle boarding and kayaking and enjoyed lunch and dinner at their restaurant. My daughter was stung by a jelly fish (we saw quite a few at several beaches in the Krabi area) and they provided medical treatment and offered to get us to a doctor if necessary. The rooms were spacious and clean and even had water for washing sand off feet and flip flops prior to entering. The food was delicious and fresh and very reasonable. At one point the gardeners were cutting some branches off a tree at mid-day and they apologized for the noise. If you are looking for a quaint, Thai-owned, clean beach front hotel this is a perfect choice. We'd stay there again in a heart beat.

Our Most FAVORITE place !”

This place is amazing , the front row cabins are the best ! The restaurant down the beach where breakfast is served does a great breakfast and the walk to it on the beach is wonderful. The Krabi Home Resort has a bar area and also makes very good dinners. Highly recommend this place for tranquility. The beach is tidal and in front of the hotel it would be good to have beach swimming shoes (I saw none for sale in Thailand so you must bring your own) We swam at all times of the day and at all tides -water is really warm ! Yes, the beach in front of hotel requires shoes, I do not think other areas of the beach are that bad - seems like more sandy...

New resort seems to be off to a great start, overall lovely stay and left smiling. ”

This hotel is very new, still has landscape work being worked on & some kinks being worked out but for the price we pay we figured we got it for those reasons. The beachfront room is amazing, wake up with amazing views. Very lovely and accommodating staff. Not exactly easy to swim right on the property due to rocks and frequent low tide but there is a long strip of the beach a 5/7 minute walk to easy access beachfront. The breakfast included is at their sister resort down the beach about 10 minute walk. It's gorgeous and delicious and amazing staff! Location is a give and take because you do feel as though you are on a remote island but you cannot walk anywhere into town need a 25 minute cab ride into AO NANG which can be costly but the hotel is happy to arrange it for you & charge it to the room. I would gladly stay here again we left so relaxed and so happy we found this place! Thank you Krabi Home Resort!

Great place for relaxing and peaceful getaway”

Krabi home resort is a very tranquil spot away from crowds and noise. the beach is great and calm, there are several places to eat and drink, and the sunsets are amazing. the Mama Kitchen restaurant offers some delicious local meals, and they also have tours around the islands. If you want to skip the crowds, choose the trip to Hong island as it's a private tour on the longtail boat, so you won't need to commute in a minivan, but a boat will pick you up at the beach. and if you ask them to pick you up earlier than usual (we were picked up at 7.30) then you'll have a chance to have Hong Island to yourself for about an hour before the crowds arrive. trust me, that's totally worth the early wake up!

Do it ...!”

Booked this hotel based on reviews. When we arrived, I was quite concerned that we would be bored over our 4-day stay, as there is not much around the property, save a few restaurants and bars. But it turned out to be fantastic. The bungalows (we were beachfront, except it's not really a beach in the traditional sense) were charming. The staff was second to none, and there's plenty of variety at the few hotels along the beach. We kayaked, paddleboarded, swam, went into Krabi proper one afternoon .... Turns out there was plenty to do. The Krabi Home really had everything we needed (and, in my opinion, the best food and drinks along the beach). We did not want to leave, and I would stay at this property again in a heartbeat. So, if you're on the fence, just do it. You'll be glad you did!

Wonderful Stay”

Stayed for 6 nights and we will definitely come again. It's a small and cozy Resort at the beautiful Tupkaek Beach. The beachfront is clean and you can swim there. The resort garden is beautiful as well. Much cheaper than the other Resorts at the beach so for sure the best offer at this beach. Employees were really helpful and friendly! Breakfast is just amazing at a more luxurious Resort 5min away (The walk at the beach is short and nice). Food and drinks in the small resort restaurant are much cheaper than at the other locations at the beach and it is tasty anyway. Only negative point is the expensive Taxi drive to Ao Nang or Krabi. But except for an ATM or some shopping there is really no reason to go there. All our tours had hotel pickup included. I would recommend to rent a scooter though. There is not that much traffic so for me driving a scooter for the first time it really wasn't a problem... Ask the hotel staff for renting!

Quiet Beach, Quiet Resort”

We love this place and it's one of our favorite easy access beaches in Thailand. 45 minutes north of Krabi airport. It's a quiet resort on the edge of a longer beach. There are more rocks jutting out of the water on this end of the beach, which is not ideal for swimming, but also make it beautiful to look at, as it adds some texture to the view. The rooms are very spacious and lovely, you can look right out of your bed in the morning to the ocean. The grass adds a nice color contrast to the ocean, especially in the morning. They don't have a lot of furniture to lounge--only a few in the grass--but they have a nice little couch to sit on and look out on the ocean from your room balcony. Food is decent, not great. There are a few other places to eat along the beach. Overall, for the price and the location, we really love it. You can see many of the karst islands on the horizon from the beach--which makes it one of our preferred beaches in Thailand.

Perfect place for chillout”

Krabi Home Resort is perfect place for people who are looking for an area to relax, out of crowd. Great view from comfy bungalow. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. There is not so much to do but for sure this is the great place for chill out. It is far to the city and there are no shops nearby (taxi to the city is expensive). We were eating in restaurants in the resort - it was tasty thai kitchen. For the breakfast you are going 300m to the next hotel - it it really worth - breakfast is amazing :) I highly recommend this place.

Truly a little paradise ”

We really loved our stay at Krabi home resort, it’s a perfect place to slow down and unwind. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they even got a birthday cake for me. The bungalows are spacious and comfortable with a beautiful sea view. The food was very good and fairly priced for a resort. Highly recommend the Hong island tour!

Relaxing mode”

Very great place for relaxing..away from town, owned private beach (which i don't prefer to go for any islands tour when you already in front of the green-blue-ish sea!), free kayak, delicious breakfast served approximately 300m away (sister resort)..my favorite Cafe Latte! Massage in front of the beach, Seafood Restaurant, Mama Kitchen, Moon Bar (good food)...Friendly & very helpful staff..they make up the room every day...with welcome fruit on the 1st day arrive..staying for 5 awesome days. Need to call / online order for Grab / Taxi to get to Ao Nang Center or Krabi Town (i only need it for Nightlife & Night Market). Not so many people in TubKaek area..Free Wifi & Netflix!!!! Great beach location, quiet, modern, excellent value for money”

One of the few places in Krabi that is still great value for money. Directly at the beach and just a few hundred meters away from the entrance to a national park. Beach is not very good by itself but the view is terrific (one of the best you can have in South Thailand) with many small and beautiful islands close by. Hotel restaurant is directly at the beach and does not only offer great views but also delicious food. Rooms are big and modern (no English TV but who cares). Staff is very friendly and takes good care of the place. Perfect during low season Things to consider before booking: This is is a quiet beach. There are no shops and no bars or restaurants outside the hotels and there is definitely no nightlife. There is a road directly behind the hotel but we didn’t hear much because it is not a busy road. There are a few hotels at the beach but in off-season this is not a main issue. They are constructing another another big hotel at the other end at the of the beach

Lovely hotel on the beach”

Krabi Home was a beautiful place to stay. The rooms were very comfortable and large, the staff was really nice and friendly, with a large, walkable beach. Free kayak and paddle board to use. We did not explore the area so I don’t know what is nearby but restaurants along the beach. We had a great, relaxing time!

Lo pase increible en Krabi Home Hotel el personal tremendamente amable yo no hablo una gota de ingles y de verdad que fueron muy amables , el hotel es exactamente como se muestra en las fotos a excepción de la entrada casi me muero cuando llegue es mi primer viaje sola y pense que me habian estafado jajja , el hotel debe mejorar este gran detalle , su entrada no indica que es hotel hasta que entras y empiazas a reconocer los lugares que viste en las fotos , a parte de eso es un lugar increiblemente romantico si quireren ir en pareja no lo duden es paradisiaco , la playa increible , lo disfrute muchisimo me habría que dado unos días .... Krabi home is exceptional for the price. Service is great, the view is outstanding. Imagine a beautiful beach walk with no one else. Stay here if you are in Krabi as and want a nice quiet place.

Wonderful experience”

This resort is about 30 minutes from Ao Nang beach and far from the tourist crowd. Unlike other guests we took an airport mini-bus for 200 baht each and were pleased. We were able to rent a motorbike one day which was quickly arranged by the front office for 450 baht... other than that you are pretty much stuck in this remote area. There is a National Park within walking distance with a very difficult nature trail (3+ hours). The morning breakfasts were amazing! Ask in the office for options - there are plenty! You can also use the pool and workout facilities at the hotel where you have breakfast (which is 5 star!) Definitely go next door to the Ritz for a sunset cocktail! We ate dinner at KHR every night and enjoyed each meal. The staff at the resort is so devoted, friendly and helpful they felt like family! I would return here any day of the week!
