Great location near everything you'd like to do in Krabi. Dorms were nice, but a little hot (no A/C), and also no lockers which is an issue for some. Wifi was good, and staff was really nice and helpful. Only thing is there were not a lot of travellers there, so I had to venture out to meet people, which isn't the end of the world. Cheap, clean, good location, can't go wrong.

I had the pleasure of spending a couple nights here while in Krabi. This hostel may be new to the Krabi scene, but the friendly folks running the place have come out of the gate charging. The place is clean, rather spacious, and has everything you need to enjoy yourself both in the area and in the hostel itself with a good array of games, musical instruments, and even printing facilities in addition to, of course, fast wifi. I especially enjoyed the free and surprisingly filling breakfast. I had an omelet with sausage and toast, but you have several choices. In short, it's a great hostel, and I plan to stay here again next time I'm in Krabi.

I went to krabi on 6 July 2017. Decided to stay in krabi town and i booked my room a day before that. Last minute booked but still the price is only 140baht for one night. Btw i booked a hostel. Staff : fluent English, helpful, always smiling and one of the staff even help me with drawing my money from the atm late at night without charge. (I still gave her tips) Room : Quite spacious for 6 bed mixed room. The bed is little hard but great comforter. Air conditioned. The locker is quite big. Bigger than any hostel locker i've been to. Location : location wised. Restaurants, shopping and bars are near. The beach is +-1 hour from krabi town. You can ride a van or rent a bike to go to the aonang beach.

I stayed at Pak Up Hostel on two separate occasions but I love it so much! The staff is very friendly, it's super clean, comfortable, and a great location in Krabi Town! Only a short walking distance to the night market with great deals on delicious food. They also offer free BBQ skewers every night and you can book tours directly through the hostel. For example, you can hop on a boat to Railay Beach (one of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand) for only 300 Baht round-trip. I've already referred multiple people to stay at Pak Up Hostel during my travels. Highly recommend staying here for a few nights during your visit to Krabi!

I stayed here for 5 nights in Krabi Town. The room i stayed has totally six beds and i am on the upper bed. First, the staff there are friendly and willing to meet most of the request you have made. The common areas including six tables, checkin counter, tours leaflets desk and a little open kitchen. The place looks really fantastic. To enter into your room, you have to climb up the stairs but it is not a big deal if you can not with a very big luggage haha. The bed in he room is gigantic. Also, there are an area to keep your own belongings but you have to bring you own lock. Since i dont have any valuable stuffs, it is not a big problem for me to not have a lock. The hostel provided with shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer (note: only one in the second floor). It would be perfect if the hostel can provide each tourist with 1 or 2 hanger as there are no space to hang out all the cleaned clothes. For your information, toliets and shower room only in the 2nd and 4th floor, it would be a little bit inconvenient, BUT it is acceptable. What impressed me the most is the room price include the breakfast, such as toast and bananas. It is a all-rounded hostel. Last but not least, it only takes 8 to 10 minutes to the night market and transportation there is acessible. The hostel even surrounded by motorbike and bicycle rental services shop and tour guide shop. Definitely a good place. It is a pleasant stay for me in Krabi town. There are nothing to complaint at all!!!!! Highly recommend you to stay here

Mr take and his family, the owner of Boss and Benz are really friendly and kind. They are always helpful and always give us suggestion on where to go and where to eat good local dishes. they even provide a map (although it's old but still helpful when reflecting to Google map). it's near to morning market, Krabi walking street weekend night market, maharat bakery, may and Mark, Poo Dan seafood restaurant, and many more. it's also nearby The Vogue, a small mall where there is a supermarket here selling cheap local products, ideal for souvenirs. it's also a walking distance to bus stop in front of seven eleven (near the Vogue)where we can take it to ao nang. All in all staying in Krabi town at boss and Benz is a cheap and relaxing experience. thank you take and family.

A little bit outside of Krabi town and hard to find. Other than that the beds are nice and clean. Every bed has an electrical outlet, a light, and really thick curtains that block out the light really well. Great place to stay if you want to be a little far out from the city. I was the only person there for 2 nights. The pictures on Agoda aren't representative of the place and the Agoda address is actually wrong too. It's spelled Chaokhun road and is near The White Pearl. Lady who takes care of the place is the shop owner on the right of the hostel.

You get more than you pay for at Baan Nisarine, literally. Free coffee is available downstairs and there's a book exchange - though sadly it reads as though people are just stealing them. Yes it says you must drink all your coffee if you pour it but a) no one is checking and b) why pour one if you don't intend to drink it? The staff were friendly and welcoming. We stayed in 503, so had to climb five flights of stairs but if you go to the tiger temple those five flights will seem like nothing! The place is a little rough around the edges. We had to share a bathroom, which wasn't mentioned in the listing and came as a surprise, but it was never a problem and the Baan Nisarine had the best power shower we came across in Thailand. The location is good. Very central to what few things there is in Krabi Town (which isn't much). We walked to the night market, which a helpful staff member pointed us to, and also took a long tail to Railay from the pier just around the corner. The place is very secure. Night staff are available but the front door is also locked (you're given a key so it isn't a deadline of be home before x time or else). Room 503 is huge. The fan still reaches the bed though if you lock it in position. There are window grills to stop bugs so you can have the windows open but my girlfriend was covered in bites after night one (I was fine though). Room 503 is at the front so it is loud, busy road below. I slept but I had a broken sleep from what seemed like an all night rave a few buildings along. I'd recommend the Baan to anyone who is staying in Krabi Town. It's cheap, cheerful and has a good location. There's a 7/11 over the road but you're not allowed to eat in the rooms. There's a lot of rules but I guess the Baan is aimed at low cost travelling youngsters. thank you for a pleasant stay Baan.

We stayed here for only a night and already felt like home. The owners are super helpful and even help send items back to me when I forget them. It's hard to find trustworthy advice about onward travel and Amy went beyond the call of duty to help us and others find reliable transport options. We felt like we were safe in good hands. It was great talking to them about their experience running the hostel. Some bits and pieces are still unfinished in this place, but their invaluable advice and care made those issues easy to overlook. Also the location is great to explore the Islands as its close to the pier and easy to travel to other destinations in the area. I would definitely stay here again.

I am currently backpacking in SE Asia, and I don't have much of a schedule. As I wanted to make the most of my last day in Bangkok, I hadn't booked anything as I didn't know for sure I'd make it at the intended date. As Pak-up was fully booked, I booked my first night here, after browsing cool options nearby. The dorms are fairly spacious, clean, and the bed comfortable. The restaurant downstairs makes a gorgeous iced coffee, even with soya milk. The only negative point is: the toilet seat and the shower are inside the same individual door, with no separation. So after someone has a shower, the toilet seat is soaked for the next person, and also you can't get dressed there, you need to walk in an out only wrapped in a towel and get dressed in your room. And it was not the cleanest place either. Several random tubes of toothpaste and even toothbrushes on the sink seem to have been part of the decoration for months. But the staff is very sweet and the place was overall good.

location was superb, 3 mins walk away from night market and there was a cafe right beside it with tasty western breakfast. hotel atmosphere is very homely, i love the concept of their common dining area and there's a pool table in the common area (its partially faulty tho.. 20 baht per game but it doesnt dispense all the balls). Cons: bed was very hard and pretty uncomfortable. rooms by the road doesnt have much noise cancelling but the room makes the cut for a short stop-over in krabi town. satisfied customer!

It is located right in Krabi Town where you can easily walk to several restaurants and bars along with supermarkets. The room was very clean and well furnished, including a kettle, downstairs there was a nice seating area opening out on to a market if you are there at a weekend. There are rooms without windows, be sure to check if you want to see outside. Reception is very helpful and you can book trips and taxis there without being pushy.

Snoozz Hotel is strategically located - about 5-10 minutes walk to the famous Krabi Town night markets (there are two in the town). We stayed one night (Saturday night) in a superior double bed room, which was sufficient for us who travelled as a couple. We liked how modern and minimalist the room design was. Pros: 1. Strategically located - walking distance to Krabi Town night markets, Vogue Departmental Store, local restaurants. 2. Has an in-house cafe for a quick coffee. 3. Clean and modern. 4. Has a motorcycle rental service (please be informed that you will need to leave your passport with Snoozz Hotel when you rent a bike with them. If you are uncomfortable in doing so, you might want to consider other places). We rented a bike with Snoozz Hotel for THB250/day and for 3 days. We were not comfortable with leaving one of our passports with them at first but we decided to believe that it was in safe hands. Thankfully it was. 5. Bed and pillows were comfortable but this really depends on personal preference (if you like firm mattresses, you may feel the beds are comfortable and likewise for the pillows). 6. 2 complimentary bottled water in the room. There is also a water dispenser in the lobby. Cons: 1. Could be slightly noisy in the morning when the locals begin their day. A point to note: there is a local bus/tuk-tuk service right opposite of the hotel's main entrance. If you wish to get a ride to the airport, it costs THB50/person. Make sure to confirm with the driver as the driver may start off with THB100.

We had wet rainy days in Krabi and stayed in some time of the days or nights. Although JP provides basic amenities in the room, it was very clean and comfortable. It is value for money and when requested for room cleaning, they actually changed the sheets and blankets as well! Although communicating in English was a problem, Rin and Mel tried their best and is always pleasant and helpful. We still enjoyed Krabi a lot with our raincoats on as there are many diverse activities in Krabi. Location is near to taxi stations, fresh morning market, night market and weekend market. We would stay here again.

Nice rooms with balcony and view to next country side area. Simple design but we felt very comfortable to stay here. However, the hot & cold shower is not good. sometimes, the water too cold, sometimes too hot. In generally, everything was good so far for us in this hotel in Krabi. We had booked good boat tickets to Koh Phi Phi and Phuket from the receptionist of hotel. Very good prices compared to other travel agencies around!

pros: 1. very good location. near the maharaj food market (eat breakfast there. cheap price. where local people shop. got fruit & some local food. love this). near Vogue Department Store & Krabi walking street (weekend night market) 2. clean room. 3. the receptionist was kind enough to allow us to leave our backpack at the hotel while we went to Emerald Pool on the check-out day. cons: 1. room is on 4th floor. stairs only. lucky I only carry backpack.

Krabi town is cheaper than staying by the beach, but there are a few things in the town. The best restaurant I've ever had the pleasure to eat at called May and Mark's, is at the end of the block. The bus to the tiger cave is right down the street and only costs 50 baht. The bus to the beach is right down the street too and takes about 40 mins to get there, also costs about 50 baht. It's very close to the pier and the Krabi crab statues, which is a nice long walk too, and if you're taking a cruise you might start from this town. I'd suggest starting at another closer hostel in a beach town (au nang) if you want the beaches too but they are much more expensive. It'd be nice to stay here from 1-2 days to go to the town, the cave, and if you find a tour or taxi (200-600 baht) to emerald pools. The town is a more local Thai experience than au nang which is more touristy. The beds are nice and clean, there are thin sheets to cover each bed. Not dingy bunks but nice built in bunk style! The A/C is so nice!! They turn it on from early eve to late morning and have nice fans, too. The family that hosts is very sweet and helpful and even went above and beyond for a couple things. I enjoyed my stay at this hostel.

Check in was fast and easy. The room is big and clean. Friendly staff. Wifi works but slowly. There does not appear to be a restaurant. The hotel is not close to the city center, but it is in town. Some kind of transportation is good if you are spending some time in Krabi town. It will be perfect if you are transferring to the airport or to an island. Like many hotels around here there is no english on the TV. How hard would it be to get a couple of channels? Surely it's not all Thais who are staying at this hotel. This is my only complaint. Otherwise I recommend Krabi Grand Place.

this has been one of the best places i've ever stayed. the staff make you feel like you're staying at your auntie's house. they'll cook food from the kitchen any time of day. they'll arrange your excursions for you and you just pay through them. they'll drive you places, lend you their motobikes to run errands, tease you and give you nicknames :) they are fabulous at encouraging socialization. the first day i was here, i told them i was interested in rock climbing, and they introduced me to another group of travelers that were going to climb too. i prob would have been too shy to just walk up and sit down at a table of about 6, and if it hadn't been for the staff, i wouldn't have met a spectacular group of travelers. we all ended up staying the week there and taking excursions together. i had originally only booked 2 nights, and ended up staying a week. the rooms are clean, with good fans, and hot hot water for showers. such a great, warm place to stay. it's in krabi town, which makes the excursions a bit further away, ao nang would be closer to the long boats, but it's soooo worth the extra drive. for example, one of the travelers left for the airport and forgot his wallet in the room. one of the staff members jumped on her motorbike and took the 30min drive each way to make sure he got it before his flight took off within the hour. you'll never stay anywhere better.

I stayed in the fan room shared bathroom. Located downstairs so was nice and cool ( for a fan room this time of year). Good sized room, enough showers/toilets. Room was clean. Very quiet. No frills. No boiling water for use or fridge to store anything. Bring your own soap to wash your hands. Great location though - central yet so quiet. Host is professional and friendly and speaks English well. I would recommend. Shuttle van to the airport 100THB. Would recommend and return next I'm in Krabi Town.

We arrived expecting two rooms for our family of 5 and instead were given the entire 6 bed dorm on the first floor with our own sink/shower with hot water. It was perfect for us. The owner was very helpful, suggesting markets and things to do at night. They help to send my mother to the Krabi Night Market for free. Would definitely stay here if i come back to Krabi Town
