Upon arrival to the lobby, you will be greeted by a spacious lobby decked out in marble. Checking in was swift and the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Once you have received your key card, head to the lift lobby where there will be four elevators so you don't have to wait long for one. There are 20 floors and the hotel fulfilled my request of having a room on a high floor so I got off at the 18th floor. The hallways were clean and didn't have the dusty scent that some other hotels with carpeted hallways had. Tested my key cards and both functioned as intended. Now this is where I encountered my first issue. The room that was issued to me had a really tight fitting door so I had to push my weight against it to open the door. No worries, I am a big strong guy. The door will not be able to close automatically though because of this issue so I had to remember to push the door shut. This will also cause the door to make a loud bang whenever it is shut. First glimpse into the room, you will note the spaciousness of the unit. Fumbled around in the dark for a bit, looking for the key card slot to turn on the lights. The key card slot was located further into the room, past the bathroom door rather than right beside the room door. Bathroom was big with marble flooring. Toilet was fitted with a seat bidet. Shower area was wide and had a rain shower head and a handheld shower head. Noticed that the bottom edges of the shower area where the floor meets the wall were stained. Would suggest that the cleaning staff take note of those areas. Otherwise, very clean bathroom. The panel beneath the sink was broken on mine exposing the pipes underneath but nothing that concerned me. The lock on the bathroom door was broken but as luck would have it, my guest could not make it so had the room to myself. So that issue did not affect me personally. Heading back out into the room, you are greeted by a full size mirror on the sliding door of the wardrobe. The wardrobe was wide and had plenty of space to stow away your luggage. Beside the wardrobe, you will find the mini pantry with complimentary tea and coffee sachets. Underneath the countertop you will find the safe and mini fridge. Do remember to turn on the mini fridge via the knob inside as they are not turned on by default. Stepping into the main area of the room, the floor changes from marble to a carpeted one. Could not make use of the television in my room as the coaxial cable was damaged. Doesn't affect me much as the fast WiFi allowed me to enjoy my media entertainment on my phone. The USB charging port socket is located at the dressing table rather than at the bedside table. It helps you to focus on sleeping rather than staying up all night browsing your phone in bed. If you do wish to browse in bed while charging your phone, do remember to pack a charging head as there is a socket at the bedside table. One of the USB port was faulty and I could only charge one device at a time because I forgot to pack a charging head. The beds were nice and firm with fluffy pillows and duvet sheets. Had a really good sleep here. I had requested that the room faced the road rather than the back where it would have faced the residential suites across from the hotel. The floor to ceiling window opens up to a view overlooking the highway. The view was nothing to gawk at but you could monitor the highway conditions from your room. You cannot hear the noise from the road unless they are using those modified cars and even then it would be just audible. Drawing the curtains will eliminate all sounds from the road. Heading down to the fifth floor, you can enjoy an array of amenities provided by the hotel. There is a closed off, gender seperated hot spring area. There are three pools in there, with one pool being warm and the other two being cold. There is also a sauna room. Free lockers are provided in the changing room for you to store your belongings. There are pool towels provided for you too

Value-for-money quiet getaway”
I had stayed in KSL hotel earlier and didn't really like the high human traffic volume. I prefer this hot spring resort as it is so much quieter. Overall, I would still recommend it for a quiet, no-frills getaway. If you prefer direct linkage to a shopping mall then this is not the choice. Note: I don't know if there's any eatery nearby so we drove out to other malls. The room is spacious and clean. Mine has a city view so it's quite nice to wake up seeing the rising sun. I didn't visit the hot spring though. Generally, i like this resort except for 2 areas: 1) Carpark and Security The barrier is always up so any car can come in and out, and strangers can just go up to the guest floors through the side door. The elevators do not need a hotel card for it to function. 2) Breakfast The breakfast spread is value-for-$ so we have to have realistic expectations. The porridge is quite salty though so don't take too much salty side dishes. The dining area is not too big so don't go down too late during peak period.
