Romantic Hotel”

The best hotel for us in Kamala. Small hotel but with luxury furniture in the room. The staff are very polite & helpful especially Masu (reception) & handsome manager guy. They explain the Kamala Town very well. The chance room due some technical fault in the previous room. The jakuzi was superb nice. Two step from the beauty Kamala beach. A lots of restaurant in front the hotel. 7 Eleven on left & right of the hotel doors. Halal Restaurants just at the corner of the main road. About 600m walk. Very relaxing hotel. Nice experience of using Hammocks at outside the room. The soap & shampoo smell & quality very good. Fast check in and out less than 3 minutes. Room bed was so nice. Room was so spacious. Very clean the bed sheet and the floor. No complaints at all. All room facing the Kamala beach. Sure return to Layalina Hotel if we to Kamala Beach again. Thanks Layalina for your superb experience especially for my son.

Layalina was by far the the most delightful hotel of our Thailand holiday. Only steps away from the beach, restaurants and shops, it is ideally located in Kamala, away from the usual hustle and bustle of Phuket. Ocean deluxe rooms are tastefully furnished with all the pleasures of modern living and offer great views of the sunset from your own personal balcony where you will be spoilt each morning with a well cooked and hearty breakfast. In addition to the natural beauty of Kamala, the staff have an extremely friendly nature and nothing is too much trouble (special mention to Apple!) The surprise fruit platter introduced us to the mangosteen fruit which we now love with a passion. A beautiful spot to chill out, relax and immerse yourself in the beautiful waters and natural environment of Kamala!

Beach front for a great price”

We wanted to stay at a more low key beach so we chose Kamala over Patong. Layalina Hotel is a little obscure from the street, it's located behind a restaurant, with a small green sign. However, it backs up to the beach, and is has one of the best locations. There is nothing like waking up, throwing open your windows and seeing the beautiful ocean right there!The staff was always super friendly and always tried to answer our questions even if they didn't understand everything we said. Breakfast is served to your room or on the patio every morning and is very delicious. We found out too late but the hotel has beach mats that you can use so no need to run out and buy a beach towel.

Charming boutique hotel”

My wife and I stayed at Layalina on the last night of our honeymoon, and in many ways it's the perfect romantic getaway. Layalina is a lovely little place tucked into a space on the Kamala beachfront road; all the rooms look out over the ocean. The rooms themselves are wonderful - large and stylishly designed, with comfy beds, nice decor and a huge jacuzzi tub. Another nice feature is the included breakfast - most hotels skimp on their buffet breakfasts in order to save on costs, but at Layalina the free breakfast is cooked to order each morning based on your choices from a limited breakfast menu. Moreover, the staff will serve your breakfast on your balcony. All in all, it's a clear cut above the typical Thai hotel breakfast.

Lovely small hotel right on the beach”

we loved the layalina hotel phuket. it is a small, family owned hotel on a quiet beach. it is the perfect place if you want to get away from the craziness of patong. my parents, husband and i stayed for two nights and wanted to stay longer. the rooms are clean, two steps to the pool and another ten steps to the beach. you couldn't ask for a better hotel for the price. it felt like we were in our own little private villa. the family is very nice as well. good breakfast. restaurants and shopping nearby.

Exceptional”

This is a great place to stay, we had the 2 level penthouse, so lot's of room to spend time in the property and privately watch the view and people watch. Having the pool next to the beach was also very nice. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. My only suggestion to visitors is to pay for Layalina when it's on a deal, the standard rate of 10,000+ baht per night is too much, especially when doing comparisons around the area and nearby resorts. Definitely worth staying here, the Kamala beach area is much nicer than others and the position of the hotel is very convenient and quiet.

Great location and staff”

We could not be happier with our choice of Layalina Hotel in Kamala. It is a smaller, quiet boutique hotel which provides an outstanding value. Our rate included a substantial breakfast. The second floor room was nicely sized with a large jetted tub and two decks that afforded gorgeous ocean views. The location allowed for easy access to the sandy beach, shopping and restaurants. The staff were very helpful in arranging airport transfers.

Perfect beachfront ”

Three nights in Kamala (nice and calm village), Layalina was the perfect choice with stunning view from own terrace (no breakfast buffet, but possibility to get your choice from a wide selection, served in your room/on your patio). The staff (seem to be a muslim family running a small business with only 14 rooms) were very helpful and kind. Anyone needing a nice beachfront alternative in Kamala? Check out Layalina!

Excellent hotel in a good location”

Our room at Layalina was beautiful. It was immaculately clean, the bed was huge and comfortable, and it had everything you could need. Our room was on the ground floor looking out over the beach. We had breakfast on our private balcony every morning and even though you're only a few steps from the walkway, it's a pretty quiet area so it still felt quite private. The hotel is located at one end of Kamala beach and gives you perfect access to the restaurants and bars on the beach front and along the main street, but it is really quiet and peaceful at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. No complaints at all!

The staff at Layalina hotel were very friendly especially Masu who checked us in and talked us through all the amenities in our room. The room had a kitchenette and a great spa bath as well as an amazing view of the beach with pool access. It would have been great if you could leave and enter the room using the pool access door however this was not lockable from the outside. All in all we had a great stay and even booked an extra night. Our only advice to the hotel would be to look into the hot water heater as we did have an issue with rusty (yellow water) front he hot water tap, however once mentioned this seemed to have been fixed and flushed out by the evening. Thank you again for a great stay!

Stunning”

I stayed here 4 nights. Close to all shops and restaurants, yet neatly tucked away making it very quiet and relaxing. Excellent breakfast options with great coffee & sea views. Extremely clean and well kept. Helpful, polite & approachable staff. Right on the beach river delta, situated towards the end of the main beach, making the beach a little less crowded than that in front of other popular beach resorts, although on the beach, it's about 2 mins walk to the comfortable, quiet swimming beach (due to the small river). I stayed in room 10, and it was perfect - My expectations was exceeded in every way. When I return to Kamala, I will not even consider staying anywhere else. Thank you Layalina!

Great location, service and hotel!”

At the time, my wife and i had never been to Phuket. Booked an Ocean Deluxe room one week prior to our stay. I could not have been more satisfied. If you are either a party goer or a relaxed couple, this is the place for you. It's only a 15 min Tuk-tuk/taxi ride from the crazy night-life of Patong beach. The hotel is located on the relaxing but active kamala beach ( south end). Loads of activities and good restaurants on kamala. Layalina's staff is very friendly, rooms are spacious and clean. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel run by a very lovely team of people”

Stayed for 3 nights as independent travellers and luckily found this beautiful little boutique hotel. it was perfect - from the rooms to the lovely people that looked after us. Breakfast was really good, the room was immaculate and overlooked a small pool that in turn overlooked the beach. we couldn't have asked for a better start to our holiday. This hotel absolutely surpassed the 5* place that we stayed in for the following 3 nights as part of a cruise package. The Layalina is just perfect.

Beautiful Hotel with great amenities”

this place is definitely priced for the mid-range budget traveler (around during high season). but it is well worth it. the staff is incredibly friendly, the complimentary breakfasts are great which they deliver to your room so you can have breakfast in bed. all in all, we're so happy we booked this and recommend this to anyone looking to stay in kamala beach in phuket.

nested in a small corner of the beautiful kamala beach,this hotel is a continuing surprise:the rooms are fully equipped also with the simmering jasmin oil refilled on request.the bathroom has a double jacuzzi bathtube looking,if you wish,toward the room ,the terrace and the sea.you can have breakfast on your room or in the common terrace at your choice.the pool is small but right for the few rooms of the hotel and in a beautiful semi shady garden looking at the sea.a perfect plece for honeymooners

Peaceful stay at Layalina ❤️”

We stayed 2 nights at Layalina and we are very happy with our stay and will most certainly be back. The pool and beach is mere steps away. Imagine chillaxing on a hammock with the sea breeze and sound of the waves at the comfort of your balcony. Staffs were polite and will try their very best to assist in every way possible. Quiet and serene location if you ever need a peaceful getaway. No worries about halal food as there are a few choices along the short stretch.. Just do not be fooled by the main entrance which we almost missed

Nice beachfront B&B”

There are not that many properties on the beachfront in Kamala. I think this is the best choice if you don't like the idea of the two big international hotels (the Novotel and the Sunprime). Right on the beachfront at the south end of Kamala. Nice little pool. Restaurants and shops close by. Helpful, friendly staff. We loved our room on the upstairs floor. Very comfortable big bed. Robes, slippers and kettle all nice touches. We chose to have breakfast brought up to our room so we could have it on the balcony - perfect.

Best hotel in Phuket”

Being a hotelier who runs 3 hotels in the Maldives and being in tourism field for almost 23 years..... I would say Hats off to this hotel. Me and my wife came to relax for a week after her surgery at Bangkok hospital and I would say I chosed the best. It's so relaxing and the rooms are top notch. Even if you stay in a 5 star hotel, you would not get a better room than this. And the hotel is so quite at all time and peaceful. The staff is extremely friendly and they will support you with anything you require. We will definitely come back with our kids and of this year to stay longer. We would 100% recommend anyone coming to Phuket to stay in this hotel. You will definitely not regret this.
